Giardino d'Inverno #04 [Giardino d'Inverno] - Orangerie Nail Art

Dopo una giornata luuuuunga (esame università, un funerale, pomeriggio di shopping smaltoso - 37 boccette hanno trovato casa, ahah - pioggia, pioggia, pioggia), ecco il momento del mio post!
Lo so che non vedevate l'ora *grasserisate* ma eccomi quiiiii!
E, come di norma, prima vi mostro le boccette che ho utilizzato e vi dico che il tema è proprio "Giardino d'Inverno" (ovvero l'orangerie, quegli spazi per mettere a riparo le piante esotiche o sensibili al freddo durante il periodo invernale), proposto dalla mitica e adoratissima Sara la quale, purtroppo, non sarà presente oggi a causa di una dolorosa rottura di unghie.

After a looooong day (university exam, funeral, shopping afternoon - 37 new bottles found home, haha, rain, rain, rain), here's my post!
I know, you couldn't wait for it LOL and here I ammm!
First things first: today's theme is by lovely Sara - who, sadly, cannot be one of us because of a painful nail braking - and is "Giardino d'Inverno", which is the italian for orangerie, the places where one puts exotic or fragile plants while the cold season is on.

And here's what I've used for today mani:

• Ciaté Chalkboard Paint Pot;
• Sinful Colors Matte Rise & Shine;
• Sinful Colors HD Nails;
• Sinful Colors Mint Apple;
• Sinful Colors Glass Pink;
• Sinful Colors Purple Diamond;
• Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar;
• Sinful Colors Matte Savage;
• Sinful Colors Snow Me White.
L'idea è stata semplice, dopo una base di nero matte, ho creato, con lo striping tape, il tetto di vetro di una serra sull'anulare, sul quale ho creato il riflesso con il bianco.
Sulle altre unghie, ho creato una sorta di ghirlande con timidi fiorellini dai colori tenui, oltre che al rosso simile alle bacche.

The idea was simple: after a matte black, I've created, with striping tape, the glass roof of a greenhouse on the ring finger nail, over which I've put the white reflection.
On the other nails, I've create some sort of garland with some shy little flowers.

Dopo aver finito il tutto, essendo un po' lucida e un po' no, ho passato sopra una mano di top coat matte, il Ciaté Mattnificent. Ecco il risultato:

After that I've used Ciaté Mattnificent because it was partly matte and partly shiny. Here's the result:

A mio personalissimo parere, la prima versione "mista" è più carina ma devo dire che mi è piaciuta anche la seconda versione.
Sì, sono rimasta abbastanza soddisfatta del tutto.
Voi cosa ne pensate?

IMHO, the first "mixed" versione is more cuter, but I like the second version too.
Yup, I am somehow satisfied by this mani.

Today I have a rocket-post for you!

Sally Hansen n. 651 alias Don't Be Blue! è uno stupendo blu navy leggermente polveroso (qualcuno ha idea di una descrizione migliore?) con un timidissimo shimmer argentato che necessita di una quantità di luce piuttosto elevata per poter essere apprezzato.
Eccolo con diverse tipologie di luci:

Sally Hansen 651 a.k.a. Don't Be Blue! is a gorgeous dusty navy blue (has anyone a better description?) with a super shy silver shimmer which needs a lot of light to be shown.

Are you ready for today swedish trip?

Lui è 368, Depend 368.
Viola con glassfleck blu, uno smalto da paura ma leggermente sheer (2 mani sull'indice, 3 sulle altre unghie):

Its name is 368, Depend 368.
It is a purple nail polish with blue glass flecks, a bit sheer (2 coats on the index, 3 on the other nails):

La primissima immagine (oltre che la penultima) è la più accurata, per la tonalità del viola.
La collezione da cui esce, dello scorso anno, era caratterizzata da questo shimmerìo azzurrognolo in tutte le boccette che ho portato a casa (rosa, verde, viola, grigio, trasparente... dimentico qualcuno?) e io, semplicemente, lo adoro!
Voi che mi dite???
Fatemi sapere!

The first picture (and the second-to-last) is the most colour accurated for the shade.
Its collection - from 2013 - had the peculiarity of this blue shimmer which I really love (I've brought home the pink one, the violet one, grey one, green one, transparent... are they all?)!

Shaka Sea, è molto Zoolander: "bello, bello in modo assurdo".

Shaka Sea is quite a lot Zoolander style: "really, really ridiculously good-looking".

Ma è pure glitter, quindi non proprio lo smalto più agevole da levare.

Discontinued Days: Eyeko Vampira Polish (For Gothic Nails)

Buon lunedì!
E si riparte alla grande, almeno per me e le mie amiche di boccetta.
Eh, già, dopo la pausa natalizia, ecco che ci torniamo con l'appuntamento mensile dedicato ai cosmetici (boccette e non) ormai non più acquistabili nei negozi, o in quanto parte di edizioni limitate o perché sono stati semplicemente tolti dal commercio.
Oggi vi mostro uno smalto, smalto che mi ha causato grossi problemi di desiderio.
Nel senso, era presenza fissa della mia WL (=wish list, lista dei desideri) ma, purtroppo, non solo era discontinuato, ma la casa che lo produceva ha smesso di creare smalti. Ma ecco che eBay mi è giunto in soccorso con delle inserzioni (ben due boccette e, per di più, a prezzi irrisori!).
Di cosa sto parlando...?

And here I am, with a twinsie post, with a great start of the week.
Yup, because, after the Christmas pause, here we are, back with a Discontinued Days post, in which we show you something that is, obviously, discontinued (or part of a previous limited edition).
Today I have a special polish for you, which I've always wanted so badly.
It was in my WL (=wish list) but not only it was discontinued, the brand which made that has just stopped making lacquers. But, thanks to eBay aid, I've bought it (well, two of they and with a small price)!
What am I talking about...?

Eyeko Vampira Polish For Gothic Nails.
Chiunque di voi abbia postato Eyeko, avrà sicuramente ricevuto dalla sottoscritta qualcosa come "ahhh, io volevo il Vampira", "uff, cercavo uno smalto di Eyeko ma non ho fatto in tempo a comprarlo" e così via. Ma ecco la mia carrambata.
E parliamo di uno smalto da 8,5 mL a base nera con glitterini rosso sangue, molto vampiresco.
La cosa figa? Non risulta ruvidosone e non è particolarmente ostico da rimuovere (OK, appena-appena più ostico di uno normale, tipo i primi Sugar Matte Kiko, per chi ha presente...)!

Eyeko Vampira Polish For Gothic Nails.
If any of you have ever posted an Eyeko polish, surely have had a comment from me with something like "awww, I want Vampira","umph, I was searching for a discontinued polish" and so on, in it. And here it is.
I am talking about a 8,5mL bottle of a black polish with blood red glitter in it, very vampir'-ish.
The cool thing? It dries somehow not rough and it's not too difficult to remove (OK, just a bit than normal ones...)!

Insomma, non potete sapere quanto io sia contenta!
Che ne pensate??? Beh, sappiate che ormai non è più prodotto!

You cannot understand how I am happy with it! Can you?

Giardino d'Inverno #03 [Sport] - Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree? + bowling nail art

Essendo venerdì, oggi si torna a parlare di matte/satin/suede e Giardino d'Inverno.
Oggi ho uno smalto speciale. Non in quanto a colorazione e via dicendo, ma perché è la mia base nera, il mio nero usato per qualsiasi cosa... insomma, ha un posto speciale nel mio cuore da nail polish addict ♡

Being Friday, it's time for me to talk about matte/satin/suede lacquers and about Giardino d'Inverno twinsie posts.
Today I have a special polish. Not because of its shade and so on but just because it is my own black base, the black lacquer I use for anything... so, it has a special place in my nail polish addict heart ♡

Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree? è un semplicissimo nero satinato - satin - con nulla di speciale, appartenente alla collezione Femme Fatale del 2009.
Si asciuga in un po' più di tempo rispetto ai matte e ha una durata non troppo buona (massimo un paio di giorni prima di tip wear senza top coat) ma pur sempre in linea con gli smalti con questo finish.

Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree? is a simply, almost boring, satin nail polish from Femme Fatale collection (2009).
The drying time is a bit longer than other matte lacquers and it's not that long lasting (max a couple of days and - voilà - tip wear, without top coat), as for the other lacquers with this kind of finish.

Come potreste già sapere, questi post hanno anche un tema da seguire per creare una nail art (ciò non è obbligatorio).
Ad ogni modo, il tema di oggi è stato scelto da Francine ed è lo sport.
Non sono, personalmente, un'amante dello sport ma, se c'è qualcosa a cui amo giocare, quello è il bowling.
Per cui, ecco i miei birilli:

I am not that sport lover but, yay, I love bowling!

I want to show you a little cheap treasure (I've bought it for around 2,90€):

Debby ColorPlay 49, un nero con una miriade di glitterini olografici mi tendenti soprattutto al blu.

Debby ColorPlay 49, a black lacquer with tons of holographic glitters which shift primarilly to blue.

Inizialmente asciuga leggermente ruvido (nelle foto sono 2 mani con un glossy top coat) e i glitter fanno una leggera resistenza nella rimozione (ma nulla di eccessivo).
Che ne pensate?

This dries a bit rough but on the photos there are 2 coats with glossy top coat) and glitters are a bit tough to remove (but not so difficult).

E’ un foil giallo con una punta di verde, semplicemente carinissimo.

Beh, sono assolutamente identici!

It is a foil lacquer, yellow with a hint of green, just so cute.
