ILNP Funshine Smoothie fa parte della collezione estiva del 2014 e fa parte della mia collezione... da un po'.
Devo dire che è diventato ufficialmente il mio giallo tuttofare; lo avete, infatti, già visto QUI e QUI, ricordate?

ILNP Funshine Smoothie is part of Summer 2014 collection and this belongs to me since... quite a lot of time.
I have to say that it's officially my handyman... err... polish; you might have already seen it HERE and HERE, remember?

3 passate sono sufficienti per avere un finish pieno e omogeneo.
Generalmente, non amo gli smalti gialli ma, durante l'estate, non posso esimermi dall'indossarlo, di tanto in tanto!
E voi, siete persone da giallo? Vi piace? Ce l'avete?

3 coats are enough for a nice finish.
Usually, I don't love yellow nail polishes but I can't avoid wearing them once in a while, during summer.
What about you, do you like yellow? Do you like it? Do you own it?

[B&F-F/W16-17] Horror: Nightmare Before Christmas - ILNP Atomic Sherbet

E rieccoci col secondo appuntamento per la Books&Films Fall/Winter 2016-17 Challenge.
Il tema di oggi è l'Horror... tema a me non propriamente caro.
No, l'horror mi piace ancora meno dei polpettoni romantici.
Per cui a questo tema ho collegato una pellicola non prettamente horror ma stracolma di morti, vampiri, streghe e compagnia bella. Mi riferisco a Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, una dei miei film preferiti sempre, ne conosco a memoria tutto il testo in italiano fin da piccola e quello in inglese l'ho imparato almeno un decennio fa, grazie alla proiezione in loop del dvd.
E' l'unico film di cui abbia acquistato ogni formato: VHR, DVD (non una ma due copie!) e BluRay 3D.
Ma ora basta cianciare, andiamo al protagonista di questo post.

Here we are again with the second Books&Films Fall/Winter 2016-17 Challenge post.
Today's genre is Horror... which I really don't like.
I dislike this genre even more than Romance.
So I link to this theme a not-really-horror movie... still, it has tons of dead characters, vampires, witches and so on. I'm talking about Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my favorite movies ever. I love it so much that I know all the words in it by heart, both in the Italian and in the original versions.
It's the only film of which I have all the format: VHR, (two) DVD(s) and BluRay 3D.
Enough chitchat, let's talk about the subject of the post.

Sì, lui è ILNP (o I Love Nail Polish) Atomic Sherbet, uno smalto arancione olografico appartenente alla collezione autunnale del 2014.
Il nesso? Beh, questo è un arancione zucca. Jack è il re delle zucche. Collegamento perfetto, no?

Yep, this is ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) Atomic Sherbet, an orange holographic nail polish from the 2014 Fall collection.
What's the link from the movie to the lacquer? Well, AS is obviously a pumpkin kind of orange. Jack is "the pumpkin king". Perfect link, isn't it?

Dicevamo... Re delle zucche! Quindi... nail art dedicata alle zucche di Halloween!!!

I was saying... The pumpkin king! So... jack-o-lantern nail art!!!

Vi ricordo di andare a trovare anche le mie amiche di boccetta, che trovate anche qui sotto ;)
Beh, che ne pensate? Che rapporto avete con l'arancione? Sì, so che alcuni in italiano lo chiamano erroneamente arancio, come l'albero, che ne pensate a riguardo? Qual è il vostro pensiero per quanto riguarda i film dell'orrore? Vi piacciono?

Oggi voglio condividere lo smalto e la nail art attualmente sulle mie zampe.

Today I want to share what it actually is on my nails right now, even my stamping nail art.

Eccolo, O·P·I AmazON... AmazOFF dalla collezione brasiliana del 2014. E' descritto come un verde foresta scuro e ha un leggerissimo shimmer praticamente invisibile ma usando una luce artificiale diretta si può intravederlo.

Here it is, O·P·I AmazON... AmazOFF, out of Brazil 2014 collection. It is described as a deep jungle green and it has a hint of shimmer which is almost invisible but you might be able to see it if you use a flashlight over it.

E questo è quanto è venuto fuori stampandoci sopra con lo smalto MoYou London Winter Green usando le plates Time Traveller Back to 70's 03, Gothic 04 e Tourist 08.

And this is what happened after I stamped over it using MoYou London Winter Green and the following plates: Time Traveller Back to 70's 03, Gothic 04 and Tourist 08.

Ci ho infine aggiunto una passata di China Glaze Fairy Dust (...mannaggia a me e al mignolo sbavato!).

And last but not least I've added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust (...and snap to the smudged little finger nail!).

Personalmente, nonostante tutto, mi posso dire soddisfatta!
Voi cosa ne pensate?

Personally I can say I am satisfied, after all!

La primavera è sbocciata e io vi propongo un colore che normalmente vi beccate una volta l'anno.
Già, niente blu, niente viola, niente rosso. Niente di tutto ciò. Oggi questi schermi si tingono di... giallo!

Spring has sprung and today I'm posting a colour you can find here something like once a year.
Yep, no blues, no purples and violets, no reds. Nothing similar at all. Today this screen is going to be... yellow!

Già, quando ho portato a casa questo O·P·I I Just Can't Cope-Acabana, direttamente dalla collezione Brazil del 2014, mi sono fatta una domanda: perché?
Ma, in realtà, a me i gialli piacciono, in fondo... e stavo farneticando di primavera, o no?
E questa boccetta gialla e nera non sembra un'ape???

Yeah, when I've brought home this O·P·I I Just Can't Cope-Acabana (Brazil 2014 collection) I asked me one thing: why?
But I actually like yellow... deep, very deep in my heart... and I was bubbling about something like Spring, wasn't I?
And this bottle resembles a bee, doesn't it?

Come vedete dalle foto, 3 passate. Asciugatura nella media per un O·P·I e durata buona.
Insomma, non ne sono rimasta poi delusa!
Vi piacciono i gialli? E questo IJCCA?

As you can see, 3 coats. Normal O·P·I drying time and nice lasting.
Well, I haven't been disappointed!
