Zoya Edyta (ZP525), uno smalto dorato a base nera con una punta di verde, un colore molto particolare… E assolutamente infotografabile! :D
(Il sito italiano Zoya lo definisce come “Un magico incontro di oro, blu, verde, grigio con finitura glitterata. Più sofisticato di così…”, oltre a elencarlo sotto ai verdi…!)
Per cercare di ovviare il problema, eccovi svariate immagini con diverse condizioni di luce e fatevi una sorta di mix mentale :D

Zoya Edyta (ZP525) is described in Zoya webpage as “A complex mixture of gold, olive, blue-green and smoky grey with a sparkling metallic finish.A dark shade balanced with sparkle for a dramatic look.”.
This is really strikey and… unphotographable too! :D
So I’m going to put many pictures with different kind of lights ^^

Se avessi dato io il nome a questo smalto l’avrei probabilmente chiamato Cleopatra.
Non so perché, io lo chiamo così, “in intimità” XD
Ma vi lascio, per l’ultima volta in questa challenge, ai post delle mie colleghe di viaggio, ringraziando loro per questa opportunità e voi per essere delle persone fantastiche!

If I had given the name to this polish, I would probably called it Cleopatra (that’s its actual name when we are alone XD).

ABC Challenge: Y - YSL 33 Top Coat Premiere Neige (and Merry Christmas!)

Per questo appuntamento speciale ho in serbo uno smalto unico nel suo genere: il top coat Premiere Neige (33) di Yves Saint Laurent della collezione natalizia.
Per portare a casa questo piccino (ho provato in tutte le Sephora di FVG e Veneto e in vari altri punti vendita e nessuno ne sapeva nulla) ho fatto affidamento a un'amica andata a Londra (grazie di cuore, Elenina!) perché CREDO non sia stato commercializzato in Italia. Mannaggia.

For this special post I have for you the top coat from the YSL's holiday collection n.33 Premiere Neige.
I think that this isn't available in Italy (mine arrived here thanks to a dear friend who was in London last month). 

Trasparente? Beh, la base sì. Ma è magico. Magico. Cuccatevi il close up del fondo:

Il tappo quadrato si stacca per rivelare un più comodo (e piccolo) tappo tondo:

Sostanzialmente, questo top coat funziona come le palle di neve.
Ho scelto questa immagine perché si nota bene il riflesso (infotografabile) rosa.
Principalmente, questo smalto bianco, ha riflessi azzurri.
Ma non un azzurro normale.
Uno particolarmente bello.

So, this top coat is not a nail polish but a snowglobe!
In this picture you can see the unphotographable pink shimmer.
It has light blue glares.
But not a normal light blue.
A gorgeous one.

Notare i riflessi rosa. E il tripudio azzurro.
E' ufficiale: è il mio top coat preferito al mondo <3

Allora, il suo prezzo è di 18 sterline(22€), ovvero esattamente in linea col prezzo degli smalti YSL in Italia.
Una cosa che mi ha colpita è stata la consistenza: più che smalto, sembra una base d'acqua.
Infine, l'asciugatura è parecchio rapida (meno di 5 minuti, sicuramente). ^w^

Well, its price in the UK was £18 (22€), the same price as YSL nail polishes in Italy.
It has a really strange texture: it's very similar to water.
And it dries quickly ^w^

ABC Challenge: X – Xmas Nail Art

Come preannunciato ancora nei primissimi post, quando Aly mi propose di aggiungermi con qualche post (che sono diventati più della metà), la mia X sta per Xmas, Christmas: Natale ^w^
Complice il giorno (-5 al giorno di spacchettamento *w*), vi propongo qualche piccola idea, da utilizzare magari in un’accent manicure ^w^
Partendo con la mano sinistra – essendo io destrorsa – ci ho fatto dei disegni tipici:

As I said to Aly at the beginning of this challenge, my X is for Xmas <3
Yay, just 5 days to the unpacking day <3
These are my suggestions for a Christmas mani (maybe as an accent manicure) ^w^
I’m going to begin with the left hand (because I’m right-handed) on which I made some typical desings:

La stella cometa in un cielo stellato, un pacco regalo dal fiocco argentato, l’albero sotto il quale i doni vanno e un fiocco di neve che vorremmo tutto l’anno.
Ok, questa è totalmente casuale.
Chiaramente, la differenza fra la prima e la seconda foto è la presenza di un top coat glitterato (glitterini holo, a dir la verità), proprio quello che vedete fra le mie grinfie nella prima delle due immagini ^w^

The difference between the two pictures is that in the second one there is a glitter holo top coat on the nails (the one I was grabbing on the first picture) ^w^

Nella mano destra ho replicato il pacchetto e il fiocco di neve e ho aggiunto due unghie in stile candy cane, giusto per collegare le due mani (notare gli sfondi delle unghie in entrambe le mani: blu – rosso – rosso – blu).
I pollici?
Semplicissimi, due mani di Emerald Sparkle! ^w^
In fine, una guest manicure:

On the right hand I redid the gift and the snowflake and then I did two candy cane style nails, just to match this hand with the other one (the background colors are: blue – red –red – blue).
The thumbs?
Easy, just two coats of Emerald Sparkle! ^w^

ABC Challenge: V – NYC Greenwich Village (236)

Buon giovedì! ^w^
Devo ammettere, la lettera di oggi mi ha portata ad acquistare uno smalto nuovo!
Non avevo nulla che iniziasse con la V, così sono andata a fare un giro all’OVS (cercavo un’altra cosa che, purtroppo, non avevano più), quando mi si è parato davanti lo stand NYC, mai visto precedentemente :D Qualcuna di voi lo sapeva già XD Allora, mi sono messa alla ricerca di qualche V e mi è capitato per le mani East Village, del quale potrete trovare swatch cercando su internet, e mi piaceva davvero molto ma, dopo un po’, mi è sovvenuto che ho acquistato uno smalto moooolto simile non più tardi di 10 giorni fa (e, purtroppo, West Village non era presente :C)! Allora mi sono detta: “massììì, prendiamo Greenwich Village, è un colore che mi manca!”

I have to say, I didn’t own any nail polish with “V” so I had to buy a new one! XD
A couple of days ago, I went to OVS and then I saw the NYC stand. It was the first time in my life (someone already knew that XD).
So, I start searching for any V nail polish and then East Village was in my hands, which I loved, when suddenly I remembered of another nail polish which I bought a couple of weeks ago (or less than that) and West Village wasn’t in the store :C !
So, I thought “Oh yeah, I don’t have any nail polish from this shade, come ooon!!!”

Allora torno a casa tutta contenta e lo appoggio, fiera del mio acquisto, sulla scrivania (assieme ai suoi fratelli e sorelle appena portati a casa).
Tutto bene.
Passano circa 12 ore e penso “Acciderbolina!”.
Con mille timori, apro il cassetto e… Ta-daaaaaan!!!

So, I went back home and I left it on the dashboard, proud of this little bottle.
Everything was right.
After 12 hours I remembered about some things... I opened the drawer and... Disaster!


Non uno ma DUE dupes T_T
Il lato positivo è che una fanciulla fra le mie amiche adora uno di questi smalti e, beh, sono praticamente tutti e tre uguali XD
Per cui, tesssoro, tanto tu non leggi il mio spazio perché non te l’ho mai pubblicizzato, ma sappi che ti arriverà presto uno di questi, sicuramente XD
Ma passiamo agli swatch, rispettivamente sotto luce artificiale, all’ombra (anche se qui direi proprio al buio) e alla luce naturale (si ringrazia l’Egr. Sig. Sole per essersi mostrato a noi mortali per qualche ora!):

Luckily, a friend of mine loves this shade and they are almost the same!
So I'll give to her one or two... XD
But let's watch the Greenwich Village in action!
On the right order, under the electric lights, in the shades (I can say in the darkness-LOL) and natural lights (Thank thee, mighty Mr Sun to had leave us see you for a couple of hours!):

Ok, devo ammettere che qui sembrano molto diversi (il kiko, sul mio schermo, sembra parecchio più chiaro), in realtà sono tutti praticamente identici :D
Il Layla è il CE09, mentre il Kiko è il 289 e ve li ho mostrati, assieme, QUI ^w^

Ok, in this pict they look a bit different (on my monitor, the kiko seems to be much lighter) but, really, they are almost the same :D

ABC Challenge: U - Union Jack Manicure

Purtroppo ho saltato la T e non sapete quanto mi dispiaccia :V
Per la U, invece, vi mostro una vecchia manicure che, però, ho adorato tantissimo ^w^

Sì, sì, chiaramente sto parlando di Union Jack, la bandiera della Gran Bretagna ^w^
Oggi ve la mostro nei toni pastello ^w^
Premessa: un'amica, un paio di mesi fa, è partita per Londra (e sta per tornare, finalmente ^w^). Allora le abbiamo fatto una piccola festa e io le ho preparato questa torta:

You have to know that one of my friends went to London a couple of months ago (she's coming back home, finally ^w^). So, we do a party for her and here's my cake:

...il problema è che la pasta da zucchero (fatta in casa, ancora non mi trovo molto bene con la ricetta!), dopo ettolitri di colorante, continuava ad avere queste tonalità, ergo, è rimasta nei colori pastello XD
E, chiaramente, ho dovuto accostarci una manicure d'eccezione: la seguente ^w^

...the problem was that the fondant didn't become darker than how was in the picture, so I left it as it was XD
And, obviously, I had to make a manicure with the same theme:

Ovviamente sono entrambe delle Accent, penso che ormai abbiate inteso quanto io apprezzi questo tipo di manicure ^w^

I was so near to post a "Red" one but, suddenly, I thought to Rainbows ^w^

Lunedì scorso, ho fatto questa gradient manicure utilizzando gli smalti Kiko nei numeri: 340 – 339 – 338 – 332 (in quest’ordine - l'immagine è di questa sera, notare l'indice mangiato).
Visto che mi dispiaceva togliere lo smalto, ho creato sopra questa piccola manicure un arcobaleno (Rainbow!), così da poterla inserire nel post del giorno ^w^

Last Monday, I did this gradient manicure using some Kiko nail polishes (340 – 339 – 338 – 332 - the picture was shot this eveneng, notice the chipped index nail polish).
I liked it so much that it was a pity to erase that lovely thing, so I used it as base for this rainbow manicure for today ^w^

Per la nuvola ho utilizzato lo Shaka 102 Sugary White (ancora da postare) e, per l’arcobaleno, i Kiko nei seguenti numeri (dall’alto verso il basso): 236 – 280 – 279 – 297 – 295 – 294 – 293.

ABC Challenge: Q – Queen Of Hearts Manicure / Nail Art Regina di Cuori

Buon inizio settimana a tutti :D
E rieccomi nuovamente con l’odierna partecipazione all’ABC Challenge ^w^
Scusate se non sono super presente (al di là della Challenge) ma sono parecchio presa dall’Università (a brevissimo, altri due esami T_T)!!!
Poiché per la Q non mi veniva in mente assolutamente nulla e sapevo già che qualcuna delle ragazze avrebbe postato il mio unico (credo) smalto che iniziasse con la Q, ho deciso di ripiegare su una nail art/manicure.
Prendendo in qualche modo lo stesso spunto che ho avuto con la K (CLICK!), mi sono buttata a pesce sulla Q!!!
Quindi, carte: K – King (re), Q – Queen (regina [@Aly: regina Regina! *nhnhnhnhnh*]).
E io, immensa fan disneyana, secondo voi, me la faccio sfuggire??? Macché!!!
Infatti, Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie è uno dei film che conosco meglio ^w^

Here I am, with a new ABC Challenge post ^w^
I’m sorry, I’m not here as much time as I wished but I’ll have some University exams soon T_T
I didn’t know what to do for today’s post until I remebered my K post (CLICK!) hence I inspired from for the Q post!!!
So, playing cards: K – King, Q – Queen.
I am a huge Disney fan so: Queen + playing cards = Queen of Hearts!!
I love Alice in Wonderland so much <3 ^w^

Vedete il bambino che da la mano alla regina? Quello è mio fratello, ergo, la bambina che sta guardando ammaliata Sua Maestade, sono IO (a Eurodisney)! XD
Ma passiamo alla nail art ^w^

Do you see the little boy with his hand in the Queen’s?
That’s my brother and so the little girl who’s staring at Her Majesty it’s ME (in Eurodisney)! XD
Now, let’s talk about the mani ^w^

I colori utilizzati sono stati solo 3:
• nero matte;
• rosso (leggermente shimmer);
• oro caldo.
E’ stata abbastanza semplice da fare:
• Pollice: base nera opaca con un cuore rosso centrale;
• Indice: usando lo scotch (questa tecnica la sto usando tantissimo) ho diviso in due diagonalmente l’unghia, a riprendere il vestito della regina di cuori;
• Medio: sopra una base rossa ho disegnato una Q (come nelle carte) incoronandola con dell’oro… insomma, siamo regali o no? ;) ;
• Anulare: qui ho ripreso la gonna della regina (prima foto);
• Mignolo: idem come sull’indice solo che l’ho fatta a specchio e invertendo i colori.
Non dimenticate di andare a ficcanasare nei post delle colleghe, che appariranno pian piano, qui sotto ^w^

I used just 3 nail polishes:
• black matte;
• red (slightly shimmer);
• warm gold.
It was almost easy to do:
• Thumb: matte black as base and a red heart in the middle of the nail;
• Index: using the tape (I am using this technique a lot!) I split the nail diagonally, inspired by the Queen’s dress;
• Middle: I used a red base and drow a Q (as on the playing cards) and then I added a crown… She’s a Queen, isn’t she?
• Ring: this was inspired by the skirt (1st picture);
• Little finger: I did the same as on the index but opposite ^w^
