Oggi siamo ufficialmente in equinozio autunnale.
Non sono abituata a postare foto dedicate alle stagioni ma quest'anno ho preparato una piccola nail art.
Ecco le foto:

Today it's officially equinox!
I'm not used to post season-inspired photos (except for Christmas) but this year I've prepared a tiny nail art.
Here are my photos:

Escludendo la base, ILNP Copper Top, ho usato 4 boccette, 2 plate e 1 dotter per creare la mia nail art.
Gli smalti utilizzati sono: Colour Alike B. an Electric Orange, B. a Fairy Forest e B. a Yellow Glow e il Layla Magneffect 23 Chocolate Mousse.
Le plate che ho utilizzato sono entrambe MoYou London - Scholar 05 (indice, medio e mignolo) e Gothic 04 (anulare).
Che ne pensate? Non mi resta che augurarvi uno strepitoso autunno!

Besides the base ILNP Copper Top, for my nail art I've used 4 lacquers, 2 plates and a dotter.
The bottles I've used are: Colour Alike B. an Electric Orange, B. a Fairy Forest and B. a Yellow Glow and Layla Magneffect 23 Chocolate Mousse.
Plus, I've used both MoYou London plates - Scholar 05 (for the leaves) and Gothic 04 (for the tree).

[B&F-F/W16-17] Romance: Chocolat - ILNP Chocolate Slate

Novità in casa IMBC, udite udite: io e le mie amicicie di boccetta siamo qui riunite in questo weekend di ottobre per piazzarci ai blocchi di partenza per un nuovo appuntamento a tema.
Ogni due settimane fino alla fine dell'inverno troverete le nostre pubblicazioni sui questi schermi.
Il soggetto? Film e libri! Ma anche i telefilm sono stati permessi (grazie, ragazze!), per rendermi la "challenge" meno tale in senso stretto. Ecco il vessillo dietro il quale incominciamo a marciare verso la prossima primavera:

News here: here ye, here ye, me and my (nail polish) bottle friend are here gathered in this October weekend to start a new appointment.
We will be here one weekend every two weeks to share our posts on these screens.
What will be everything about? Books and movies! And luckily my pals agreed to allow tv series too (thanks, gals!), so this challenge won't be too harsh for me. And here's our banner behind which we are starting marching toward the upcoming Spring:

Insomma, dicevo, intuizione. Parliamo di cioccolata... quale miglior candidato del seguente?

This first post is about romance.
I have to be honest and say that this genre is definitely not "me".
BUT I had an intuition. I've thought about a 2000 movie, Chocolat. Do you know it? Yes? Good. Nope? If you click on the title you will find its wikipedia page with all the movie details.
So, I was talking about an intuition. We're talking about chocolate, so... what better pick than mine?

ILNP Chocolate Slate è uno smalto color cioccolata (eheheh...) dell'ultima collezione del suddetto brand indie per questo autunno. Finish olografico da perdercisi (e se lo dico io che ODIO il marrone...!).

ILNP Chocolate Slate is a chocolate (lol) brown holographic nail polish from the latest Fall 2016 collection. It's so pretty you could get lost staring at it (and I said that also if I really DISLIKE brown shades...!).

E allora, cosa ne pensate?

[HOLOTHON 2.0] Color Club 867 Love 'Em Leave 'Em

Sadly, this is our last Holothon 2.0 post.
And thinking of ending with fireworks I've chosen a "rare" bottle - here in Italy - but with a much subtle finish.

Ecco a voi il Color Club 867 Love 'Em Leave 'Em (collezione Wild At Heart del 2009), un marroncino/nudo con un finish linear talmente delicato da sconfinare quasi nello scattered. Ma è un linear, giurin giurello!

This lacquer was released in 2009 along the Wild At Heart collection.

[HOLOTHON 2.0] Shaka Nude (LOT.A)

Aloha and welcome to today's Holothon 2.0 post!

Oggi parliamo di Shaka e dei suoi olografici. Finora, ci sono state due collezioni - da 6 boccette ciascuna -, una linear e l'altra scattered.
I nomi sono identici e i colori sono simili, come poterli distinguere? Semplice: nell'etichetta sul retro della boccetta, sopra il codice a barre, vi sono il codice seguito dai numeri identificativi della boccetta (COD.708874, per quanto riguarda il Nude) e il lotto (LOT.).
Ecco, se quest'ultimo finisce per A allora avete un olografico linear fra le zampe, se finisce con B, invece, l'olografico è di tipo scattered.
E dopo questo maxi preambolo, via con le foto!

Today I'm going to talk about Shaka and its holos. As for today, there have been 2 six-bottles-collections, one made by linear holographic lacquers and the other one by scattered holos.
The names are the same and the colours are similar. So, how can we recognize 'em? Simply: turn the bottle and read the tag; above the bar code there are two codes. The first one is the code followed by the number identification for the lacquer in your hands (COD.708874 for Nude) and the lot number (LOT.).
There! If the lot ends with A you have a linear holo lacquer in your hands, if its last letter is B, the lacquer is a holo scattered.
And after this looong explanation, here come the photos!

OK, in foto sembra quasi argentato (almeno sul mio muletto che *grasserisate* non ha la connessione a internet) ma, dal vivo, è una specie di argento dal sottotono marrone, una cosa strana.
E vediamo cosa ci mostrano quest'oggi le mie colleghe, qui sotto!

Yup, this is not my favourite kind of shades but it is more a nude than a brown so I could almost like it.

Post super rapido, scusate, sono stanca morta e mi ero addirittura dimenticata dell'appuntamento speciale di quest'oggi (ho passato dalle 09:40 di stamattina alle 18:45 in pronto soccorso con mia mamma). Oggi il post speciale prevede un qualcosa di pasquale. E cosa c'è di più pasquale del nostrano Kinder Sorpresa, l'ovetto di Pasqua pensato per ogni giorno dell'anno???

Good evening!!! Super brief post, sorry, I am extremely tired and I was about to forget this special appointment (I spent more than 9 hours at E.R. with my mom, today). Today's special post is about Easter. And what is better than italian Kinder Surprise, the Easter egg thought for every day of the year?

[The Rainbow Ladies 2.0] Brown - O·P·I I Brake For Manicures (NL T29)

Di nuovo venerdì, per cui eccoci qui riunite per mostrarvi il nuovo appuntamento delle Rainbow Ladies.
Il protagonista di quest'oggi è il marrone, altresì conosciuto come il mio colore s-preferito.
Davvero, lo odio (per lo meno, su di me. Conosco [poche] persone alle quali sta davvero bene e, su di loro... risulta "bello"). Tanto da esser altresì conosciuto come "merdone", quando si parla di un punto di marrone davvero... beh, avete capito. Sì, di classe, lo so.
I suoi imparentati beigiolini, cremini marroncini ecc ecc sono invece noti come color "cacchetta". Sì, ma questa è una definizione tecnica di colore utilizzata in famiglia. E più apprezzati del marrone, invero.

For this Rainbow Ladies post we have pick our brown lacquers just for you.
Well, if you don't know that already, I really *HATE* brown. 
At least, on me, I know a few people who look really great in brown and on they brown is almost a beautiful colour.
I don't love taupe and those kind of light naked either but they're much more appreciated than brown, here.

E oggi vi mostro un marrone con una punta di viola, un colore davvero strano che mi ha detto ‹‹hai *davvero* bisogno di me nella tua collezione›› e gli ho dato ascolto.
In realtà, indossato non è brutto quanto in foto. Con una bella luce calda risalta la parte viola e lo rende meno... "cioccolatoso".
Sì, lui è I Brake For Manicures (NL T29) di O·P·I, marrone con un punto di viola creme, direttamente dalla collezione Touring America.

And today I have O·P·I I Brake For Manicures (NL T29) out of the Touring America collection - a brown purplish creme.
This is a peculiar shade which called me while I was buying it.
Actually, IRL, it is not that bad - at least not as much as it is into the photo.
With a warm light the purple pops up and makes the lacquer less... brown.

Ho una lista in cui indico le cose peculiari di uno smalto e, accanto al suo nome, vi è la nota "asciugatura super rapidissima". A quanto pare non mi sono sprecata nell'aggiungere durata o applicazione. Ma, per quanto riguarda quest'ultima, è il solito pennello O·P·I (che amo) e la formula è in linea con le altre lacche del brand americano.
Insomma, è strano e non mi dispiace troppo. Ho tre marroni nei miei helmer e questo (assieme al My Private Jet, sempre O·P·I) è l'unico che si salva.
Ma andiamo a vedere insieme i post... marroni... delle colleghe!
Passate una giornata stupenda!

I have a list with my opinions on lacquers to post and, on the side of its name, I've written "super quick dry". And full stop. But the brush is the O·P·I one (which I love) and the formula is like the other O·P·I cremes. So, the application had to be nice and smooth.
BTW, this - along with My Private Jet - is the only brown I like in my helmers.
