It has been a very long time since last time I've worn one.

MI-NY Sugar Chic 11 Silver Glaze è uno smalto materico - come tutta la linea Sugar Chic - argentato con glitter argento.
Risplende che è un piacere! E ciò comporta, ovviamente, un leggero disagio nel fotografarlo.

MI-NY Sugar Chic 11 Silver Glaze is a silver textured nail lacquer with silver glitters. Sugar Chic collection has bottles and it's a textured one.
It really shines and this meant a hard time for me to take shots of it.

Ho provato a creare una nail art a mano libera utilizzando il Silver Glaze sul MI-NY 1 Avenue Montaigne. Insomma... una festa argentata! Cosa ne pensate?

...StarGazer 232, l'argento cromato per eccellenza, quello dei miei sogni.
In pratica è uno smalto ad asciugatura ultra rapida e one coater. Sì, guardatelo in una foto (pessima) con una sola passata.

Basically, it is a quick drying one coater lacquer. Yup, here's a (hideous) photo with just one single coat of it.

Ma eccolo in due mani. I segni del pennello si notano in foto ma dal vivo sono praticamente invisibili. E' amore! ♡

And here it is, in two coats photos. You are going to notice brush strokes in my photos but in real life they are almost invisible. It's love! ♡ 

Ahahah, sì, nell'ultima foto ho cerchiato la mia belva che ronfa beatamente, specchiata sulla boccetta.
Ma, chiaramente, questo smalto è perfetto per lo stamping. Eccone la prova!

Hahaha, yes, on the latest photo I've circled my beloved puppy who's sleeping peacefully, mirrored on the bottle.
And clearly this lacquer is perfect for stamping. Here's the proof!

La base è Orly Out Of This World e la plate usata è questa di MoYou London.

FINISHPEDIA: Chrome - Pupa 014 Violet

Eccoci di nuovo di venerdì, pronte con un nuovo finish!
Oggi parliamo di Chrome, gli smalti cromati.
Questo finish mi sembra abbastanza palese: il nome dice tutto. Ma aggiungiamo il fatto che diverse marche hanno rinominato questo finish come "mirror" (Kiko, Layla, parlo a voi!).

Friday again, here's a new finish!
Today we are going to share our chrome lacquers.
And the name explains perfectly what they are. But I add that many brands (like Kiko and Layla) called this finish as "mirror".

Avendo portato a casa la linea intera dei Pupa Chrome, oggi vi mostro il numero 014, volgarmente rinominato come Violet.

Owning the whole Pupa Chrome collection, today I am sharing number 014, Violet.

Ma, c'è da dire anche una cosa positiva di questo finish che non amo particolarmente (e che, di solito, ha una vita abbastanza breve): sono generalmente perfetti per lo stamping!
Eccone una prova con i Pupa 018 Sky Blue e 019 Denim Blue.

But there's a pro about this finish which I don't love particularly (and which, usually, lasts shortly): they are generally perfect for stamping!
Here's my proof using Pupa 018 Sky Blue and 019 Denim Blue.

Se ve lo steste chiedendo, la plate usata è la MoYou London Gothic 04, l'effetto vetrata che AMO, uno dei miei pattern preferiti di sempre.
E voi che rapporto avete con i chrome?

I have a second green nail polish in less than a week... but don't get used about it :P

Lui è MI-NY 46 Olivia, un verde smeraldo cromato opaco in 2 passate e con asciugatura abbastanza celere.

This is MI-NY 46 Olivia, an emerald green chrome nail polish opaque within 2 coats with rather quick drying time.

Come notate, da buon cromato, soffre di presenza di brush strokes (i segni del pennello) ma, nonostante ciò, devo dire che mi piace abbastanza.
Voi cosa ne pensate? E degli smalti affetti da brush strokes, in generale?

As you can see, it is brush-strokes-affected - LOL.
Despite them, I need to say that I like it, overall.

Lui è il Pupa Chrome Nail Polish 018 alias Sky Blue, un cromato azzurro.
E' un one coater ma io sono andata di due mani, per uniformare.

This is Pupa Chrome Nail Polish n. 018 a.k.a. Sky Blue, a light blue chrome lacquer.
This is a one-coater, but you're going to see two coats for habit.
Below the pictures.

Brush stroke da paura, durata così così (due/tre giorni prima che mi si consumasse terribilmente sulle punte). In compenso, asciugatura piuttosto rapida e stesura non difficoltosa (sì, vabbé, se il pennello non lasciasse 'sti segnacci).
Che ne pensate di questo smalto? E dei cromati?

Inevitable brush strokes, longevity not that good (two/three days before huuuge tip wears). The drying time is rather brief and the application is smooth (yeah, it would be, if the brush wouldn't create those strokes).
