Brief post to share a very particular lacquer!
I'm talking about Northern Star Storybook Love (thank to my friend Maria <3)!

E' una base lattiginosa con glitter "random" dorati, menta, bianchi e rossi. Con random intendo dire che hanno diverse forme e dimensioni, dallo shimmer dorato al glitterino rosso e quadratini bianchi, glitter medi dorati ed esagoni grandi bianchi, verdi e oro.

It is a milky white base with random glitters: teeny tiny golden almost-shimmer-sized glitters, tiny red glitters, white squared glitters, medium golden glitters, white, green and gold maxi glitters.

E infine sopra quattro O·P·I: OPI Red, Keeping Suzi At Bay, Can't Find My Czechbook ed I Think In Pink.
Posso dire che mi piace tantissimo? Da solo lo trovo così particolare e unico. Voi cosa ne pensate???

And over four O·P·Is: OPI Red, Keeping Suzi At Bay, Can't Find My Czechbook and I Think In Pink.

Can I say I just love it? Alone it's so unique and particular. What do you think???

Born Pretty Store BP-14 Stamping Plate

Oggi voglio condividere una plate portata a casa per curiosità.

Today I want to share a plate which I've bought out of curiosity.

Parlo della Born Pretty Store BP-14.
Ero piuttosto scettica, vi dirò, ma le varie review in rete mi hanno spinta a provare una delle loro plate, visto anche il prezzo basso (oserei dire irrisorio, avendola portata a casa in occasione di una particolare offerta).

I'm talking about Born Pretty Store BP-14.
I was skeptic, I have to say, but after the tons of reviews on line, I just wanted to try out on of their plates, also for their low prices (almost null, because I've bought it while a particular offer was on).

Sulla mano sinistra ho usato il pattern che più mi piace di questa plate, mentre sulla destra li ho messi tutti, qui sotto.

On the left hand I've used my preferred pattern, while on the right one I've used all of them, below.

La base è il Kiko Energetic Peach, mentre la stampa l'ho fatta con il China Glaze Ruby Pumps.
Lo ammetto, per essere ancora in fase principiante, questa plate mi ha dato dei risultati decenti e non me lo sarei mai aspettata. Promossa!
Voi cosa ne pensate? Vi piacciono le loro plate e le stamping plate in generale?

The base colour is Kiko Energetic Peach, while the stamping polish is China Glaze Ruby Pumps.
I have to say, I'm still an amateur, but this plate has given me nice results, which I wasn't expecting. Thumbs up!

Mi è piaciuto tanto anche se non è durato molto. Ma è in saldo, per cui gli darei una possibilità.
Che ne pensate? Quanti/Quali smalti avete acquistato quest'anno?

Ecco l'ordine in cui ho trovato queste boccette e le relative caselle.
Notare la scritta sull'ultimo... che è un blu!

Here's the order in which these bottles popped out and their windows.
Please note the writing on the last one, which is a blue lacquer!

Il primo è stato stupendo, lui è Mineral Love, uno smalto ad effetto quarzo rosa, un glitter coprente dorato e rosa, fantastico. 3 passate sottili.

The first one is Mineral Love, a gorgeous "rose quartz effect", an opaque pink and gold glitter. 3 thin coats.

Prima Ballerina è una porporina... porpora dall'effetto olografico. Non sono troppo convinta, dai glitter per unghie...

Prima Ballerina is a nail glitter with a holographic finish. I'm not too sure about nail glitters, though.

Strawberry Milkshake è un rosa chiaro pastello. 2 mani.

Strawberry Milkshake is a pastel light pink. 2 coats.

Le perle nere mi incuriosiscono un sacco!
Queste si chiamano Back To Black.

I'm curious about these black pearls!
They are called Back To Black.

Superficial è un créme teal bellissimo. Quasi one coater ma due passate, qui sotto.

Superficial is a gorgeous teal créme. This is almost a one coater, two in photo, though.

Lui è la mia grande incognita, Beach Bum, non so se lo riutilizzerò molto, questa crema nude.

This is a big question point, Beach Bum, I don't know whether I will use this nude créme or not.

Altro glitter olografico, Let It Snow (a destra), praticamente identico a Twinkle Toes.

Ultimo ma non meno importante, Knee Highs, uno shimmer metallizzato blu pazzeschissimo.

Last but not least, Knee Highs, a gorgeous blue metallic shimmer.

Ciaté Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar - Day 01-08

Anche quest'anno Ciaté ha proposto un loro calendario dell'avvento!
Ovviamente ho ceduto, non potevo farne a meno.
Però son rimasta male dal comportamento tenuto da Sephora: sul sito ufficiale Ciatè costa £ 49 (circa € 62 col cambio attuale), sul sito sephora.fr viene € 49, mentre sull'americano sephora.com costava $ 60 (circa € 49, anche se ora è a $ 42, circa € 34). Allora perché in Italia si trova solo in alcuni negozi fisici all'esorbitante prezzo di € 69,50?!? Mah!

This year Ciaté came out with a shiny new nail polish advent calendar!
And here it is, the first part of it to share with you.

Quest'anno si chiama Mini Mani Manor, è semplicemente stupendo e contiene 22 mini smalti, 1 full size esclusivo e 1 transfer.
Le mini boccette sono inserite a caso, per cui ogni calendario può essere differente, ma ecco cosa ho trovato io nelle prime 8 finestrelle.

This year it is called Mini Mani Manor, is simply stunning and comes with 22 mini nail polishes, 1 exclusive full size and a transfer in it.
Mini bottles are put in randomly so every calendar can be different to another but here's what I've find behind the first 8 windows:

Giorno 01 - Kiss Chase, un rosa barbie créme.
3 passate sottili.

Day 01 - Kiss Chase, barbie pink créme.
3 thin coats in photo.

Giorno 02 - Cha Cha Cha, un arancione neon che reagisce ai raggi UV.
2 passate.

Day 02 - Cha Cha Cha, a neon orange which shines under UV lights.
2 coats.

Giorno 03 - Meet Me In Mayfair, pagliuzze gialle, nere, rosa e argento.
Da 1 a 4 mani in foto.

Day 03 - Meet Me In Mayfair, yellow, black, pink and silver glitter strands.
1 to 4 coats in photos.

Giorno 04 - Girl With A Pearl, perle bianche dal retro piatto; la mia boccetta ne contiene 725 (sì, le ho contate...).

Day 04 - Girl With A Pearl, flat back white pearl; my bottle has 725 pearls in it (yup, counted...).

Giorno 05 - Espadrilles, un rosso/rame foil, il mio preferito fra queste prime 8 boccette.
2 passate in foto.

Day 05 - Espadrilles, a red/copper foil, my fav among these first 8 bottles.

Giorno 06 - Ivory Queen, un nudo shimmer che avete già visto qui.
3 passate sottili.

[HOLOTHON 2.0] Color Club 867 Love 'Em Leave 'Em

A malincuore quest'oggi vi propongo quest'ultimo post di questo viaggio della Holothon 2.0 percorso durante quest'estate.
Ma sperando di fare una fine coi botti, ho preso una cantonata.
Sì, perché sperando di mostrarvi una cosa "rara", ho scelto un finish molto delicato.

Sadly, this is our last Holothon 2.0 post.
And thinking of ending with fireworks I've chosen a "rare" bottle - here in Italy - but with a much subtle finish.

Ecco a voi il Color Club 867 Love 'Em Leave 'Em (collezione Wild At Heart del 2009), un marroncino/nudo con un finish linear talmente delicato da sconfinare quasi nello scattered. Ma è un linear, giurin giurello!

Here's Color Club 867 Love 'Em Leave 'Em (from the Wild At Heart 2009 collection), a brownish nude with a super subtle and delicate linear finish. Yeah, I swear it's a linear one!

Questa boccetta d'annata uscì nel 2009, con la collezione Wild At Heart.

[HOLOTHON 2.0] Shaka Nude (LOT.A)

Oggi parliamo di Shaka e dei suoi olografici. Finora, ci sono state due collezioni - da 6 boccette ciascuna -, una linear e l'altra scattered.
I nomi sono identici e i colori sono simili, come poterli distinguere? Semplice: nell'etichetta sul retro della boccetta, sopra il codice a barre, vi sono il codice seguito dai numeri identificativi della boccetta (COD.708874, per quanto riguarda il Nude) e il lotto (LOT.).
Ecco, se quest'ultimo finisce per A allora avete un olografico linear fra le zampe, se finisce con B, invece, l'olografico è di tipo scattered.
E dopo questo maxi preambolo, via con le foto!

Today I'm going to talk about Shaka and its holos. As for today, there have been 2 six-bottles-collections, one made by linear holographic lacquers and the other one by scattered holos.
The names are the same and the colours are similar. So, how can we recognize 'em? Simply: turn the bottle and read the tag; above the bar code there are two codes. The first one is the code followed by the number identification for the lacquer in your hands (COD.708874 for Nude) and the lot number (LOT.).
There! If the lot ends with A you have a linear holo lacquer in your hands, if its last letter is B, the lacquer is a holo scattered.
And after this looong explanation, here come the photos!

OK, in foto sembra quasi argentato (almeno sul mio muletto che *grasserisate* non ha la connessione a internet) ma, dal vivo, è una specie di argento dal sottotono marrone, una cosa strana.
E vediamo cosa ci mostrano quest'oggi le mie colleghe, qui sotto!

Well, it's not silver but it is somehow a silvery nude, what a strange thing.
