Lui è uno dei miei preferiti di questa collezione che, devo dire, non mi è per niente dispiaciuta, cromaticamente parlando (tant'è che ho portato a casa l'intero bottino e un suo fratellino proteste averlo già visto QUI). Se vi piace credo si possa trovare ancora nelle linee dei saldi negli store Kiko.

This is one of my favourite among this collection which, I have to say, I really liked (yes, I've bought the entire collection and you might have already seen a bottle HERE). If you like this one too, you might still find it among the sales section in Kiko stores.

Mi è piaciuto tanto anche se non è durato molto. Ma è in saldo, per cui gli darei una possibilità.
Che ne pensate? Quanti/Quali smalti avete acquistato quest'anno?

Primo lunedì del mese, ormai lo sapete, tocca al make up discontinuato.
E quest'oggi torniamo nel 2013 quando, fra aprile e maggio, Catrice propose la collezione Candy Shock…

First Monday of the month and you know we share discontinued make up!
Today I go back to 2013 when, between April and May, Catrice put on sale its Candy Shock collection…

…e io acquistai solo lui, il C02 Play It Blue, un azzurro pastello satin.

…from which I bought this - C02 Play It Blue, pastel light blue with a satin finish.

Per fortuna asciuga rapidamente, perché queste sono quattro mani che non soddisfano la mia richiesta di opacità.
Insomma, per me è un "no" e, per ora, torna dritto dritto al suo cassetto, dal quale non so quando ne uscirà nuovamente, se non per nail art.

Luckily this is quick drying because there are 4 coats in the photos above and I'm not quite happy with its opacity.
So, for me is a big "no" and, for now, it goes right back in its drawer, from which I don't know when it will come out again, if not for any nail art.

Urban Decay Pulp Fiction palette

Come vi avevo anticipato qualche giorno fa, ecco, direttamente dagli States, una delle più recenti palette Urban Decay, la Pulp Fiction.

As I told you some days ago, here's my Urban Decay Pulp Fiction palette brought me from the States by a friend!

La palette, piuttosto, piccina, contiene quattro cialde con cinque ombretti differenti ed esclusivi e un mini pennellino doppio, oltre che ad un ampio specchio e al cartoncino per ricreare il look. La palette è in cartone resistente con la chiusura magnetica.
I colori sono: Righteous (beige chiaro mat), Tyranny (cioccolato mat), Vengeance (marrone talpa scuro, effetto mat satinato), Anger (nero satinato con leggeri riflessi tono su tono).
(NOTA: i colori li ho copiati dal sito sephora.it e Vengeance lo definirei come un color biscotto)
Ma eccoli swatchati:

This tiny palette has three pots with 5 exclusive shades and a mini double-ended brush, besides a big mirror and the tutorial for the look. The palette is made with hard cardboard and has a magnetic closing system.
The shades in it are: Righteous (light cream matte), Tyranny (warm brown matte), Vengeance (deep taupe-brown matte-satin), Furious (white satin) and Anger (black satin w/slight tonal sparkle).

Sinceramente, avrei osato con dei colori più forti e... diversi. Tipo un bel rosso tipo le labbra ecc ecc.
A mio modesto parere, non è una palette indispensabile, nonostante l'ottima qualità degli ombretti.
Ad ogni modo, l'ho adorata accanto ai miei occhi grigi.
E voi, cosa ne pensate?

Honestly, I would have chosen different and stronger shades such as a bright bloody red like the lips and so on.
IMHO, this is not much needed palette, but the quality is great.
And BTW, I love it with my grey eyes.
But what do YOU think?

Oggi voliamo in America... Anzi, l'America arriva qui.
Perché questo smalto mi è stato recapitato un mese fa direttamente dagli States (assieme alla sua palette, ve ne parlerò fra qualche giorno) da un'amica.

Because this bottle was purchased for me (along the palette, which will be here on the next few days) by a friend.

Sì, sto parlando dello smalto Urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace, edizione limitata (secondo il sito ufficiale limitatissima) di uno smalto rosso sangue dal finish leggermente shimmer.
E' un punto di colore che credo mancasse nella mia collezione, è davvero strano... e bello, soprattutto dal vivo!

I'm talking about Urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace, a blood red super limited edition lacquer with a slightly shimmery finish.
I think I didn't own anything similar to this in my stash, it is really strange... and beautiful, especially IRL!

Per l'occasione hanno fatto anche il tappo più "dark".
Comunque, non riesco a comprendere perché sul sito Urban Decay gli smalti vengono descritti come boccette da 10mL quando ne contengono effettivamente solo 9... mah!
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!

For this L.E. they've created a darker cap too.
BTW, I cannot understand why UD on their site write their lacquers are 10mL when they're actually just 9... mah!

Wjcon Burlesque 10

Questa sera voglio mostrarvi un gioiellino nostrano.

Today I want to share an Italian treasure.

Mi riferisco al Wjcon Burlesque N. 10, uno smalto in edizione limitata ma disponibile da un bel po' nei vari Wjcon stores e sul loro sito.
E' un duochrome che parte dal verde e passa attraverso il teal, il blu e il porpora per raggiungere il viola scuro con un finish quasi shimmer. Sì, tecnicamente quindi è un multichrome. Ma per me i multichrome non esistono, sono tutti duochrome.
Come potreste sapere, non amo su di me i duochrome. Questo fa parte delle eccezioni.
Ecco il motivo del grosso numero di immagini seguenti.

I'm talking about Wjcon Burlesque N.10, a limited edition lacquer on sale since a lot of time in their stores and on their site.
It's a duochrome which goes from green through teal, blue and purple to a dark violet with a sort of shimmery finish. Yup, technically it is a multichrome. But for me they don't exist, they are all duochromes.
And you might know I don't love them on my nails. This is an exception.
Hence the number of photos below.

Ovviamente, le luci sono differenti (a memoria, le prime tre sono con sole, dalla quarta alla sesta con luce artificiale, la settima con luce naturale diffusa in una giornata soleggiata e l'ultima è stata catturata con luce naturale in una giornata nuvolosa). L'applicazione è buona, l'asciugatura è breve  e dopo più di 7 giorni lo smalto aveva un leggerissimo segno di tip wear. Per cui, è consigliatissimo!
Voi cosa ne pensate?

Clearly, the light situation was different from photo to photo (if I'm not wrong, the first three were shot under direct sunlight, the next three under electric lights, the second to last with natural light on a sunny day and the last one with natural lights on a cloudy day). The application is good, the drying time is brief and after 7 days it had just a slightly tip wear. So, I do approve it!

Today, thanks to Discontinued Days post, we're going back to autumn 2011, when Essence put on sale  Urban Messages Trend Edition.

Il numero 01 era lui, Street Styler, uno stupendo azzurro a base teal con dei favolosi glass flecks.

This was number 01, Street Style, a gorgeous light blue on a teal base with amazing glass flecks.

2 passate in foto, asciugatura abbastanza rapida e finish che amo.
Che ne pensate?

Pupa Sugar Candy 002 Blue

In questo post programmato, vi mostro l'ultimo - per ora - dei Pupa Sugar Candy che posseggo.

In this planned post I'm going to show you my last - as today's - Pupa Sugar Candy.
Here you can find the lilac, here the pink and here the green ones.

Sì, dulcis in fundo, ecco il numero 002 alias Blue.
Come per i fratelli, le mani da passare sono diverse (in foto ne vedrete 4), l'asciugatura è lenta, anche se per questo mi è sembrata più rapida... probabilmente ciò è anche stato dovuto alla stagione più calda.

Yeah, last and surely not least, here's number 002 a.k.a. Blue.
As for its siblings, it is so deadly sheer (4 coats on the following photos), the drying time is slow even if I've found this to have a quicker drying time (probably for the hotter season).

Indossato, devo dire che mi piace molto di più che in foto, ma questo è semplicemente una questione di gusto personale.
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate e se ne avete acquistato qualcuno o qualcosa di analogo!

I have to say that while wearing it, it is much nicer than in picture, but this is my humble opinion.

Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green

Welcome to this planned post (I couldn't find time because of university, work and football match, today)!
As I was saying yesterday, here it is!

Sto parlando del Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green, un verde pastello con glitter bianchi.

I'm talking about Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green, pastel light green with white glitters.

La qualità è leggermente migliore dei fratelli Pink e Lilac, in quanto si è asciugato leggermente più velocemente (forse è per le temperature più alte?) e in foto vedete 3/4 passate. Al solito, niente effetto textured ma piatto, nonostante i glitter (che fanno smadonnare nella rimozione).
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate ;)

The quality is slightly better than previously shown Pink and Lilac, the drying time is slightly quicker - maybe thanks to the season - and you can see 3 to 4 coats in the photos above. As always, no textured effect but plain boring glitters (which will make you swear while removing).
