Revlon Parfumerie Lavender Soap è un rosa pallido perlato (o forse più frost?).
Abbondanti segni del pennello e due mani. Godetevi le foto!

Revlon Parfumerie Lavender Soap is a pearly (or frost?) light pink lacquer.
Massive brushstrokes in two coats. Enjoy!

Ammetto che non mi piace da impazzire ma sono follemente innamorata del suo profumo di pulito, per cui potrei provare a spugnarlo sulle unghie per farmelo piacere maggiormente.
Cosa ne pensate?

I have to say that I don't like it much but I fell in love with its scent of clean, so I could try to sponge it on the nails, hoping to like it more.

Oggi vediamo il secondo finish più "datato"... signore e signori, oggi si parla di smalti perlati.
Questo finish è abbastanza esplicito, l'effetto sulle unghie è quello della perla.

Today we see the second "oldest" finish... ladies and gentlemen, today we have pearl.
Yeah, and the names explains it perfectly, it looks like to wear pearl on nails.

Per far ciò ho tirato fuori dal cassetto il Color Club Oooooo La La, un bianco perlato.
Dovrete fidarvi di me, purtroppo la mancanza di sole non aiuta.

So I've chosen Color Club Oooooo La La, a white pearl.
Trust me, the sun absence didn't help in this viewed explanation.

Tre passate con una coprenza un po' così, dall'effetto tutto strisciato... insomma, non il top.
Ma scopriamo ulteriormente questo finish con le mie amiche di boccetta, qui sotto!

EuRoPe: Luxembourg - MI-NY 173 Freedom + nail art

Quest'oggi continuiamo il nostro viaggio europeo e approdiamo nel Lussemburgo.

Hi there!
Today we continue our european trip and we are now in Luxembourg.

Come base per la mia nail art ho optato per questo azzurro perlato molto carino, il MI-NY 173 Freedom (sotto con luce naturale, flash e luce artificiale).

As base colour for my nail art I've chosen this cute pearly light blue, MI-NY 173 Freedom (below with natural lights, flash on and artificial lights).

Prima di mostrarvi ciò che ho creato utilizzando anche il Sinful Colors Snow Me White e Urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace, un breve excursus sulla bandiera lussemburghese, da Wikipedia:
"Il tricolore lussemburghese fu adottato tra il 1845 e il 1848 anche se l'adozione ufficiale avvenne solo il 23 giugno 1972, e trae i suoi colori dall'antico stemma del Lussemburgo, raffigurante un leone rosso con cinque bande azzurre e cinque bianche che lo fasciano; il vessillo ha una certa somiglianza, non voluta, con la bandiera dei Paesi Bassi, distinguendosi da essa per la tonalità dell'azzurro e per il fatto di avere una maggiore lunghezza."

Before showing what I've made with both Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace, here some facts about the Lëtzebuerger Fändel from Wikipedia:
"It was first used between 1845 and 1848 and officially adopted on June 23, 1972. Luxembourg had no flag until 1830, when patriots were urged to display the national colors. The flag was defined as a horizontal tricolor of red, white, and blue in 1848, but it was not officially adopted until 1972. The tricolor flag is almost identical to that of the Netherlands, except that it is longer and its blue stripe is a lighter shade. The red, white, and blue coloring was derived from the Grand Duke's coat of arms, which dates from the 13th century."

Questo mese ho fatto le cose in grandi: non è solo lo smalto a non essere più in commercio ma anche il brand.

Yup, today's the first Monday of the month. And, as you might know, it's time for me & my buddies to bring discontinued bottles out of the drawers.
Today I'm doing this right because I've chosen a bottle which is no more on sale from a brand which is no more sold.

Lui è il B BasicBeauty NR. 19, un azzurro polveroso con una punta di grigio perlato con shimmer rosa.
Insomma, non certo un colore troppo comune.
Purtroppo, non è molto coprente, 3 passate in foto. Le seguenti hanno come illuminazione: sole, sole, flash, ombra, ombra.

Say hello to my B BasicBeauty NR. 19, a dusty blue-ish/pearly grey w/ pink shimmer nail polish.
Yeah, not a common lacquer.
Sadly, that's not opaque, 3 coats in photos. The following pictures has: sunlight, sunlight, flash on, shades, shades.

Mi dispiace che queste boccette non siano più sul mercato, mi piacevano proprio.

Essence 173 Over The Rainbow

Oggi vi voglio mostrare una boccetta che AMO e che fa parte della mia collezione grazie a Maria, la mia fatina degli smaltini!

Today I'm going to share with you a bottle which I LOVE and which belongs to my collection thanks to the lovely Maria, my polish fairy!

Si tratta di Essence 173 Over The Rainbow, un lilla con una punta di azzurro duochrome che passa dal rosa all'azzurro quasi teal.
Sì, qui è amore!

This is Essence 173 Over The Rainbow, a duochrome lilac with a hint of blue which shifts from pink to an almost teal light blue.
Yup, this is love!

Nelle foto ci sono 3 passate ma con 2 è pressoché perfetto. Sto giusto facendomi la manicure e mi sa tanto che lui ne sarà protagonista!
Che ne pensate?

3 coats in photos above but with 2 is more or less perfect. I'm going to do mani and I think this will be my choice!

Nel pomeriggio, ho messo in linea i nuovi Kiko del mio cassetto e ne ho preso uno a caso da swatchare. Curiosi?

This afternoon I've lined up all my new Kikos and chosen one randomly to swatch. Curious?

Lui è il numero 525, Azzurro Pastello Metallico. Grasse risate.
Sì, perché è un celeste perlato. Sì, un altro dei veri perlati di Kiko nominati come "metallici".
Ma vabbé.

It is number 525 a.k.a. Metallic Pastel Blue. Lots of laughs.
Yeah, 'cause it is a pearly baby blue. Yup, another of the few pearly lacquers which Kiko called "metallic".

Nonostante il finish perlato devo ammettere che mi piace, forse anche per via della sua asciugatura molto rapida e opacità fin dalla prima passata.
Che ne pensate?

Besides the pearly finish, I really like it, maybe also thanks to its quick drying time and opacity since the first coat.

Birthstone Challenge: Pearl - Kiko 272 Grigio Metallizzato

E benvenuti all'appuntamento mensile delle Pietre del Mese.
In giugno, abbiamo come protagonista la perla (in alternativa c'era anche l'alessandrite; tornando indietro, avrei optato per quest'ultima).

And welcome to this month Birthstone post.
It's June, so we have pearl (or alternatively there was alexandrite; I would love to go back and choose this gem instead of what I've chosen).

E io ho scelto questo classico Kiko 272 Grigio Metallizzato, un colore perla perlato (col cacchio che è metallizzato!). In boccetta lo adoro, sulle unghie è proprio un immenso "NO", per me.
Detto questo, ecco le foto (con 2/3 mani).

And I went for this Kiko 272 Metallic Gray, a pearly (not metallic!) grey. I love it in bottle. Once on the nails, I don't.
Said that, below the photos (2/3 coats).

Già... Non so nemmeno se chiedervi di evitare di dirmi quanto poco vi piace, più in sotto XD
Ma andiamo a vedere insieme a cosa hanno pensato le mie colleghe ;)

Here we are again with this Rainbow Ladies 2.0 post!
New appointment with grey, one of my fav colours.

Speravo di mostrarvi qualcosa di più entusiasmante, invece ho questa boccetta un po' "ics"...
Lui è It's Totally Fort Worth It (NL T15), O·P·I appartenente alla vecchia Texas Collection, un grigio perlato con shimmer rosa. Ovviamente lo shimmer non si nota, in foto. Etteppareva...

I wish I was able to show you something much more interesting but I have this...
"This" is O·P·I It's Totally Fort Worth It (NL T15), out of the Texas collection.
It is a pearly grey with pink shimmer. Obviously, the shimmer is invisible in photo.

Sheer che più sheer non si può (4 passate, in foto), ma dal vivo è più carino che in foto, giurin giurello!
Ma vediamo cosa ci propongono le altre fanciulle, qui sotto...

It's way too much sheer (4 coats in photo), IRL it's a bit nicer, cross on my heart!
