Quest'oggi, dopo più di un mese di utilizzo, mi sento pronta di condividere i miei pensieri inerenti alla Naked On The Run, ultima palette dai colori nudi Urban Decay.

After more than a month of use, today I'm ready to share my thoughts about the latest naked palette from Urban Decay, Naked On The Run.
Questa palette in edizione limitata contiene 5 ombretti esclusivi di cui uno in versione XL, una matita e un mascara travel size, un lipgloss full size, una terra, un fard e un maxi specchio. A occhio, sembra quadrata... in realtà, non lo è, dato che misura circa 12,8 x 13,7 x 2,7 cm (5.6 x 5.7 x 1.1 in).
This limited edition palette contains 5 exclusive eyeshadows (one of them in a XL version), travel size eye pencil and mascara, a full size lipgloss, a bronzer, a blush and a wide mirror. It seems to be squared... actually, it is not, its sizes are about 12,8 x 13,7 x 2,7 cm (5.6 x 5.7 x 1.1 in).

Questa versione travel size del mascara Perversion è un po' un enigma, per me: UD, infatti, non ne vende, rendendo impossibile riempire nuovamente il suo spazio, una volta terminato il prodotto.
Di per sé, trovo il prodotto molto valido, mi sta piacendo davvero tanto, ma tendo a centellinarlo, avendo un altro mascara da esaurire prima. Sicuramente, quando avrò finito il mascara che sto utilizzando in questo momento, proverò ad acquistare la versione full size per confermare se è amore.
Ad ogni modo, giusto perché lo sappiate, questa versione contiene 4 ml (0.13 US fl.oz.) contro i 14g (0.49 US oz.) del full size.
I am not convinced by this Perversion travel size, but just for a reason: UD doesn't sell this size of Perversion and thus, once the travel size will be consumed, you won't be able to refill the palette empty space left from it. But I have to say that I am loving it, once I'll have finished using my usual mascara, I'll surely buy a UD full size to confirm wether it is love or not.
Just to let you know, this version is 4 ml (0.13 US fl.oz.) versus 14 g (0.49 US oz.) of the full size one.
La matita Stag e il gloss Sesso sono entrambe colorazioni nuove, il primo è un marrone scuro con del shimmer marrone mentre il secondo risulta un nudo con shimmer rosato.
Both Stag eye pencil and Sesso lipgloss are new colours, the first one is a deep brown satin and the other one is a rose with pink shimmer.
E arriviamo ai 6 ombretti, da sinistra verso destra:
· Dive (rosa antico scuro metallizzato con micro shimmer dorato);
· Fix (taupe chiaro matt);
· Resist (taupe metallizzato);
· Dare (marroncino chiaro matt);
· Stun (bronzo metallizzato con micro shimmer oro chiaro);
· 5050 (carne charissimo con shimmer rosato).
I primi 5 sono da 1,4 g (0.04 oz) l'uno, mentre 5050 è da 2 g (0.07 oz), un full size Urban Decay pesa normalmente sul grammo e mezzo (0.05 oz).
And now, to the eyeshadows (L-R):
· Dive (metallic rose with golden micro-shimmer);
· Fix (soft taupe matte);
· Resist (medium metallic taupe);
· Dare (medium brown matte);
· Stun (metallic bronze with light gold micro-shimmer);
· 5050 (cool bisque satin).
The first five weigh 1,4 g (0.04 oz) while 5050 is 2 g (0.07 oz). Keep in mind that UD full size weighs about 1,5 g (0.05 oz).
Ultimi ma non meno importanti, il bronzer (bronzo medio matte) e il fard (rosa acceso con shimmer chiari) hanno un peso totale di 8,5 g (0.3 oz).
Last but not least: bronzer (medium bronze matte) and blush (vibrant pink with light shimmer) weigh 8,5 g (0.3 oz).
E ora, le mie considerazioni.
Da quando ce l'ho, sto usando solo lei, quando voglio un trucco leggero per il giorno o uno rapidissimo da costruire. 5050 è leggermente polveroso ma mi piace un sacco, quello che preferisco assieme ai metallizzati. Il bronzer credo lo utilizzerò come ombretto, non ne saprei fare altro uso, con il mio incarnato. Pollicino in su anche per il fard, che va modulato affinché non sia troppo pesante.
Come già detto, adoro il mascara, la matita è davvero bella e AMO il gloss (e io non sono tipo da gloss).
Insomma, questa palette è molto bella e utilizzabile da chiunque ma, contando che è stata pensata come palette da viaggio devo dire che proprio da viaggio non è: io non applico gli ombretti con le dita ma con i pennelli, qui non presenti. In più, pesa una tonnellata e mezza, su per giù. Non proprio una palette da borsetta, insomma (per lo più, non è piccina picciò, come potrete intuire dalle misure a inizio post).
Ormai ci avevano abituati bene con la bustina nella Vice 3... insomma, non credo che a loro costasse molto, io ne avrei inserita una anche qui.

And now, my considerations.
Since when I've had this, I used it A LOT, I use only this palette for an everyday look or one that is super quick to do. 5050 is dusty but I really love it, alongside the metallic ones. I think I won't use the bronzer if not as an eye shadow, my skin tone is quite too fair for it. Thumbs up for the blush, which needs to be worn lightly. As I've already written, I love perversion mascara, the pencil is really beautiful and I LOVE the gloss (and I don't usually wear any kind of gloss).
Basically, this is a beautiful palette anyone can easily use but this was ad as a travel palette. And I wouldn't recommend it for traveling, I don't think this palette is travel-friendly: I don't use my fingers to wear make up and Naked on the Run palette hasn't any brush. Besides it, it weighs a ton, more or less. Not quite a purse palette (and it's small neither, as you can imagine from the sizes at the top of this post).
We have been glad for the bag in Vice 3 palette... so, why didn't they put one here too? I don't think that's expensive, is it?
