Oggi condivido uno smalto che mi è stato regalato al Cosmoprof da uno staff a dir poco delizioso e ne sono davvero lieta che sia stato così. Curiosi?

Today I am sharing a nail polish which was freely given to me at Cosmoprof from an ubersweet staff and I am really glad it has been. Curious?

Parlo del Faby Marry Me Robbie!! della recente collezione Music. E' un giallo pulcino leggermente pastello che mi ha fatta innamorare. Non tanto del colore, lo devo ammettere (anche se credo sia unico nella mia collezione - credo di non arrivare a 5 creme di questo colore), quanto della qualità.
Spaziale, sembra quasi uno smalto indie!
Ma non voglio farla più grande di quanto sia effettivamente, per essere sicura di ciò che sto scrivendo ho intenzione di acquistare qualche altra boccetta da condividere.

I'm talking about Faby (Italian brand) Marry Me Robbie!! from the latest Music collection. It is a slightly pastel chick yellow créme nail polish which made me falling in love. Not for the shade, I have  to say (I don't own more than 5 yellow créme nail polishes and I think this has not dupes among my collection) but for the quality.
It's out of this world, it has an indie type of quality!
But I don't want to make it bigger than it really is, I am willing to buy some other bottles to share to be sure about what I am writing.

Nelle foto potete vedere 4 passate super sottili (3 passate normali sono sufficienti). L'asciugatura e la tenuta sono favolose: dopo 10 minuti che l'ho steso sono andata a fare un fiocco con del filo di gomma per chiudere un armadio che abbiamo in giardino e lo smalto è rimasto perfetto. Sono positivamente impressionata.
Beh, vi piace? Avete mai provato qualche Faby? Cosa ne pensate del giallo? E, onestamente, vi piace con la mia carnagione?

You can see 4 very thin coats (3 normal coats are perfect) in my photos. Great drying time and lasting: after 10 minutes I've put it on my nails I needed to made a ribbon with a rubber string to close our garden closet and it remains perfect. I am positively impressed.
So, do you like it? Have you ever tried any Faby lacquers? What do you think about yellow? And do you like it with my skin tone, honestly?

Ciaté Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar - Day 01-08

Anche quest'anno Ciaté ha proposto un loro calendario dell'avvento!
Ovviamente ho ceduto, non potevo farne a meno.
Però son rimasta male dal comportamento tenuto da Sephora: sul sito ufficiale Ciatè costa £ 49 (circa € 62 col cambio attuale), sul sito sephora.fr viene € 49, mentre sull'americano sephora.com costava $ 60 (circa € 49, anche se ora è a $ 42, circa € 34). Allora perché in Italia si trova solo in alcuni negozi fisici all'esorbitante prezzo di € 69,50?!? Mah!

This year Ciaté came out with a shiny new nail polish advent calendar!
And here it is, the first part of it to share with you.

Quest'anno si chiama Mini Mani Manor, è semplicemente stupendo e contiene 22 mini smalti, 1 full size esclusivo e 1 transfer.
Le mini boccette sono inserite a caso, per cui ogni calendario può essere differente, ma ecco cosa ho trovato io nelle prime 8 finestrelle.

This year it is called Mini Mani Manor, is simply stunning and comes with 22 mini nail polishes, 1 exclusive full size and a transfer in it.
Mini bottles are put in randomly so every calendar can be different to another but here's what I've find behind the first 8 windows:

Giorno 01 - Kiss Chase, un rosa barbie créme.
3 passate sottili.

Day 01 - Kiss Chase, barbie pink créme.
3 thin coats in photo.

Giorno 02 - Cha Cha Cha, un arancione neon che reagisce ai raggi UV.
2 passate.

Day 02 - Cha Cha Cha, a neon orange which shines under UV lights.
2 coats.

Giorno 03 - Meet Me In Mayfair, pagliuzze gialle, nere, rosa e argento.
Da 1 a 4 mani in foto.

Day 03 - Meet Me In Mayfair, yellow, black, pink and silver glitter strands.
1 to 4 coats in photos.

Giorno 04 - Girl With A Pearl, perle bianche dal retro piatto; la mia boccetta ne contiene 725 (sì, le ho contate...).

Day 04 - Girl With A Pearl, flat back white pearl; my bottle has 725 pearls in it (yup, counted...).

Giorno 05 - Espadrilles, un rosso/rame foil, il mio preferito fra queste prime 8 boccette.
2 passate in foto.

Day 05 - Espadrilles, a red/copper foil, my fav among these first 8 bottles.
2 coats in photos.

Giorno 06 - Ivory Queen, un nudo shimmer che avete già visto qui.
3 passate sottili.

Day 06 - Ivory Queen, shimmer nude which I've already shared here.
3 thin coats.

Giorno 07 - Loop The Loop, un giallo banana pastello.
3 passate.

Day 07 - Loop The Loop, a pastel banana yellow.
3 coats.

Giorno 08 - Boom Box, blu puffo.
2 passate.

Day 08 - Boom Box, smurf blue.
2 coats.

E per questa prima parte è tutto, la seconda parte arriverà fra 8 giorni!

Primo lunedì del mese, ormai lo sapete, tocca al make up discontinuato.
E quest'oggi torniamo nel 2013 quando, fra aprile e maggio, Catrice propose la collezione Candy Shock…

First Monday of the month and you know we share discontinued make up!
Today I go back to 2013 when, between April and May, Catrice put on sale its Candy Shock collection…

…e io acquistai solo lui, il C02 Play It Blue, un azzurro pastello satin.

…from which I bought this - C02 Play It Blue, pastel light blue with a satin finish.

Per fortuna asciuga rapidamente, perché queste sono quattro mani che non soddisfano la mia richiesta di opacità.
Insomma, per me è un "no" e, per ora, torna dritto dritto al suo cassetto, dal quale non so quando ne uscirà nuovamente, se non per nail art.

Luckily this is quick drying because there are 4 coats in the photos above and I'm not quite happy with its opacity.
So, for me is a big "no" and, for now, it goes right back in its drawer, from which I don't know when it will come out again, if not for any nail art.

Today I want to share quickly with you another MI-NY lacquer.

Sto parlando di un bellissimo azzurro pastello, il numero 57, alias Giotto.

I'm talking about a gorgeous pastel light blue: number 57, a.k.a. Giotto.

In mancanza di sole, ho dovuto fare le foto in interno (e anche per l'Holothon di domani, sigh!).
Asciugatura non particolarmente rapida, in foto vedete due passate ma forse tre sarebbero state perfette.
Però mi piace proprio!
Voi che ne pensate?

Sun was missing so I had to shot photos indoor (and for tomorrow's post too, sigh!).
Not very quick drying, two coats in photos above - three would have been perfect, though.
Well, I like it!

Pupa Sugar Candy 002 Blue

In this planned post I'm going to show you my last - as today's - Pupa Sugar Candy.
Here you can find the lilac, here the pink and here the green ones.

Sì, dulcis in fundo, ecco il numero 002 alias Blue.
Come per i fratelli, le mani da passare sono diverse (in foto ne vedrete 4), l'asciugatura è lenta, anche se per questo mi è sembrata più rapida... probabilmente ciò è anche stato dovuto alla stagione più calda.

Yeah, last and surely not least, here's number 002 a.k.a. Blue.
As for its siblings, it is so deadly sheer (4 coats on the following photos), the drying time is slow even if I've found this to have a quicker drying time (probably for the hotter season).

Indossato, devo dire che mi piace molto di più che in foto, ma questo è semplicemente una questione di gusto personale.
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate e se ne avete acquistato qualcuno o qualcosa di analogo!

I have to say that while wearing it, it is much nicer than in picture, but this is my humble opinion.

Kiko 525 Azzurro Pastello Metallico

This afternoon I've lined up all my new Kikos and chosen one randomly to swatch. Curious?

Lui è il numero 525, Azzurro Pastello Metallico. Grasse risate.
Sì, perché è un celeste perlato. Sì, un altro dei veri perlati di Kiko nominati come "metallici".
Ma vabbé.

It is number 525 a.k.a. Metallic Pastel Blue. Lots of laughs.
Yeah, 'cause it is a pearly baby blue. Yup, another of the few pearly lacquers which Kiko called "metallic".

Nonostante il finish perlato devo ammettere che mi piace, forse anche per via della sua asciugatura molto rapida e opacità fin dalla prima passata.
Che ne pensate?

Besides the pearly finish, I really like it, maybe also thanks to its quick drying time and opacity since the first coat.

Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green

Welcome to this planned post (I couldn't find time because of university, work and football match, today)!
As I was saying yesterday, here it is!

Sto parlando del Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green, un verde pastello con glitter bianchi.

I'm talking about Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green, pastel light green with white glitters.

La qualità è leggermente migliore dei fratelli Pink e Lilac, in quanto si è asciugato leggermente più velocemente (forse è per le temperature più alte?) e in foto vedete 3/4 passate. Al solito, niente effetto textured ma piatto, nonostante i glitter (che fanno smadonnare nella rimozione).
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate ;)

The quality is slightly better than previously shown Pink and Lilac, the drying time is slightly quicker - maybe thanks to the season - and you can see 3 to 4 coats in the photos above. As always, no textured effect but plain boring glitters (which will make you swear while removing).
