Today we start the very last week of our 2017 advent calendar, mine included.

Per questo semplicissimo stamping ho utilizzato due pattern della plate MoYou London Festive 01 e due della numero 46.

For this simple stamping nail art I've used four patterns out of two MoYou London Festive plates each, number 01 and 46.

La base è un ILNP, Extra Credit, un bel teal pieno di microflakes olografici, mentre lo smalto che ho utilizzato per lo stamping è il Gabrini Matte M24.

The base colour is ILNP Extra Credit, a gorgeous, gorgeous teal holo lacquer filled of holo microflakes over which I've stamped using Gabrini Matte M24.

FINISHPEDIA: Matte - Deborah Sense Tech 100% Mat 4

Finalmente siamo Venerdì, per cui rieccoci con la FP!
Questa settimana parliamo di matt! Cos'è questo finish? E' uno smalto non lucido, che asciuga satinato (attenzione: il finish satin è una variazione della quale parleremo nelle prossime settimane).
Opaco, se preferite (dove per "opaco" non si intende il fatto di risultare coprente ma il fatto di non risultare lucido).
In commercio ci sono diversi top coat che possono essere utilizzati sopra smalti anche non matt per poter donar loro tale finish, ma oggi ve ne mostro uno natio.

Finally Friday, so here we are with FP!
This week we have matte/matt/mat nail polishes to talk about. 
The name is explicit: the lacquer has a matt finish.
On the market there are a lot of matt top coats which can turn shiny nail polishes to matt ones but today I have a native one.

Deborah Sense Tech 100% Mat 4, un verde menta matt.

2 passate per queste foto e asciugatura lampo, cosa tipica per questo finish.
Altra tipicità? Durata non molto longeva. Eh, sì, perché se desiderate sfoggiare questo finish non potete usare top coat normali, il che va a discapito della sopravvivenza del colore.
Ma è talmente bello come finish che anche passare una mano extra dopo un paio di giorni non mi dispiace!
E voi, che rapporto avete con questo finish?

2 coats in the photos and quick drying time (usually, this kind of finish dries at the speed of light).
Usually, matt lacquers aren't long lasting. Yup, 'cause if you want to wear this finish you won't be able to use normal top coats, so the lasting isn't great.
But I like this finish so much that I can easily do an extra coat after a couple of days of wearing!
What kind of relationship with this kind of finish is yours like?

Giardino d'Inverno - Recap Post

Finora, non ho mai fatto post di ricapitolazione ma quest'oggi mi andava proprio.
Sì, ieri è terminata la serie di appuntamenti Giardino d'Inverno e, avendo creato "nail art" in ogni post ho pensato che fosse carino dare loro un'ultima occhiata in un unico post.
Nel primo appuntamento, il cui tema era "inverno", ho presentato il Sinful Color 940 Matte Rise And Shine e vi ho stampato sopra dei fiocchi di neve col suo fratello Savage.

Until today I've never written a re-cap post but I really wanted to, today.
Yesterday, as you might know, ended the appointment Giardino d'Inverno, in which I've always created "nail arts"... so I think it's nice to take a last gaze at what I've created over the last couple of months.
In the first post, which had "winter" as theme, I've showed Sinful Color 940 Matte Rise And Shine and I've stamped over it some snowflakes using its brother Savage.

Il secondo appuntamento, "tecnica nail art", ha permesso di mostrarvi il set per la Chalkboard Manicure di Ciaté.

The second post was about "nail art techniques" and that let me show you Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure Set.

Il terzo appuntamento mi ha leggermente spiazzata a causa del tema, "sport". Ma, dopo aver mostrato il Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree?, sono riuscita a intavolare una nail art dedicata al bowling.

I've found the third post a bit tricky because the theme was "sport". But, after some swatches of Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree?, I've created a bowling nail art.

Il quarto appuntamento prendeva il tema direttamente dalla serie di post, ovvero "giardino d'inverno" e ho ricreato... un giardino d'inverno, od orangerie che si preferisca.

The fourth post was about Orangerie (a.k.a. Giardino d'Inverno in italian).
And that mean... an orangerie over nails!

Per il quinto appuntamento il tema deciso era "Klimt", pittore che non amo particolarmente. Ma, cercando di ispirarmi al suo Albero Della Vita, ho ricreato ciò che vedete nella foto seguente.

The fifth post was about "Klimt", a not-near-to-my-heart painter. But, inspired by his Tree Of Life, I've created what you can see below.

Il sesto appuntamento cadeva il 14 febbraio e, ovviamente, il tema era "san Valentino".
Io ho optato per qualcosa di semplice e banale, il mostrare uno smalto, Karaja Nail Mat Quick Dry n.1, su cui ho stampato un cuore con un rosso cromato della Pupa, sull'anulare.

The sixth post was on 14th Feb. so, clearly, the theme was "Valentine Day".
I've chosen to show swatches of Karaja Nail Mat Quick Dry n.1 and a little heart stamped on the ring finger nail using a red chrome lacquered from Pupa.

Il settimo appuntamento mi ha permesso di mostrare una delle nail art che mi siano piaciute di più fatte da me, grazie al tema "motivi geometrici".

The seventh post let me show you one of my fav nail art ever by me thanks to the "geometric motifs" theme.

All'ottavo appuntamento, la mia pazienza ha dato il meglio di se' con una nail art dedicata al carnevale, dato che il tema recitava "carnevale/dolci".

The eight post I've followed the theme, "carnival/sweets", literally.
To recreate that my patience was huuuge.

Il nono appuntamento mi ha permesso di mostrarvi la mia nail art preferita, creata seguendo il tema "libro preferito". In pieno Signore degli Anelli, rieccola qui!

The ninth post let me showed my fav nail art ever, thanks to "favourite book" theme. Here it is, my Lord of the Rings nail art!

Il decimo appuntamento, purtroppo l'ultimo di questa magica saga, portava con se' "tema floreale".
Beh, avendola postata ieri non ho niente da aggiungere, ma rieccola.

The tenth post, sadly the last one, had "floral theme".
Well, I don't have further infos to add, having posted it just yesterday. But here it is.

Giardino d'Inverno #08 [Carnival/Sweets] - Italian Carnival Nail Art

Sì, venerdì, di nuovo!
Ergo... Giardino d'Inverno!
Oggi il tema, proposto da Francine, è dolci/carnevale.
E io, che temo di aver mostrato tutti i miei smalti matte/satin/textured non glitterati, mi aggrappo nuovamente a una nail art. Anzi, "nail art".
Ecco cos'ho utilizzato e la bozza di ciò che ho creato:

So... Twinsie post time!
Today's theme, by Francine, is sweets/carnival.
And I'm afraid to have showed all my matte/satin/non glitter textured, so here's my nail art.
Better, "nail art".
And here's what I've used and proof:

Dopo aver dato una bella base di bianco (Sinful Colors Snow Me White) per evitare le unghie macchiate, ho steso una mano di Sinful Colors Matte Savage, quindi ho creato le stelle filanti con il Color Club Popsicle su indice e mignolo, su medio ho creato un piatto argentato, grazie al Pupa Chrome Silver, sul quale ho posto delle frittelle, grazie a O·P·I Sprung, Oy-another Polish Joke! e A Woman's Prague-ative. Sull'anulare ho creato a mano libera una maschera utilizzando il Kiko Sugar Matt 458 e, usando i vermicelli olografici all'interno del Sephora Silver Rain, ho creato una sorta di "piumaggio" nella parte superiore della maschera. Infine, aiutandomi con un dotter, ho sfruttato singoli glitter a mo' di coriandoli dai seguenti smalti: Essence Nail Art Special Effect Topper 13 Mrs And Mr Glitter, Shaka Las Vegas, Kiko 169, O·P·I You Glitter Be Good To Me e Pirouette My Whistle.
Come potreste aver notato, ho cercato di utilizzare un gran numero di finish, dalla crema (il bianco) al matte (azzurro), dal neon (rosa) al sabbiato (la maschera), dal cromato (vassoio) al foil (dolci). Senza contare i glitter e le barrette glitter olografiche.
Ma passiamo alle immagini:

After a coat of white base (Sinful Colors Snow Me White) to avoid stained nails, I've layered a coat of Sinful Colors Matte Savage, then I've created streamers using Color Club Popsicle on index and little finger nails, on the middle finger nail I've created a silver plate thanks to Pupa Chrome Silver, on which I've "put" frittelle (sort of buñuelos typical of Carnival time in Italy), using O·P·I Sprung, Oy-another Polish Joke! and A Woman's Prague-ative. On the ring finger nail I've created a carnival mask using Kiko Sugar Matt 458 on which I've put feathers thanks to Sephora Silver Rain holographic sticks. Last but not least I've put on each nail different glitters using a dotter to recreate confettis. For confettis I've used: Essence Nail Art Special Effect Topper 13 Mrs And Mr Glitter, Shaka Las Vegas, Kiko 169, O·P·I You Glitter Be Good To Me and Pirouette My Whistle.
As you might have noticed, I've tried to use different kind of finishes: cream, matte, neon, sand, chrome, foil, glitters and holographic bars.
But enough talking, here the photos:

Giardino d'Inverno #05 [Klimt] - The Tree Of Life inspired nail art

Eh, sì, anche oggi è - finalmente - venerdì.
Dopo una settimana ininterrotta di pioggia ieri, finalmente, è spuntato il sole!
Ma non è durato molto, stamattina pioveva nuovamente.
Vabbé, parliamo di Giardino d'Inverno, ci state?
Il tema di oggi (scelto da Rebenice)? Klimt. Che, personalmente, non amo particolarmente ma del quale ho visto più opere, a Vienna.
Ma oggi mi sono ispirata all'albero della vita.

Yes, finally it's Friday.
After a week full of rain, yesterday it was sunny!
But it didn't last, this morning it was rainy... again.
Well, let's talk about Giardino d'Inverno, shall we?
The theme for today is 'Klimt', chosen from Rebenice. I'm not a huge Klimt fan but I've seen some of his paintings in Vienna.
For this post I have been inspired by the tree of life.

La base è il mio fidato Where's The Soiree? di Color Club, che vi ho presentato proprio in questa serie di post gemelli, il giallo dorato è, invece, Essence Flower Power.
Potete notare che il tronco dell'albero è, idealmente, fra l'anulare e il mignolo.
Ok, dopo questa schifezza vi lascio ai post delle colleghe, qui sotto!
Vi dico già che la prossima nail art quasi soddisfacente arriverà fra un paio di settimane, sono rimasta proprio contenta di come è venuta fuori :)
Intanto, che pensate di questa nail art simil-Klimt? Siate magnanimi!

The base colour is my entrusted Where's The Soiree? from Color Club, which I've showed you a couple of weeks ago. The gilded yellow is Essence Flower Power.
As you might have noticed, the tree trunk was created ideally between the last two finger nails.
Well, after this crap, I'm going to leave you to my buddies' posts, below!
In a couple of weeks you are going to see here one of my fav mani lately :)

Giardino d'Inverno #04 [Giardino d'Inverno] - Orangerie Nail Art

Buonasera e buon venerdì!!!
Dopo una giornata luuuuunga (esame università, un funerale, pomeriggio di shopping smaltoso - 37 boccette hanno trovato casa, ahah - pioggia, pioggia, pioggia), ecco il momento del mio post!
Lo so che non vedevate l'ora *grasserisate* ma eccomi quiiiii!
E, come di norma, prima vi mostro le boccette che ho utilizzato e vi dico che il tema è proprio "Giardino d'Inverno" (ovvero l'orangerie, quegli spazi per mettere a riparo le piante esotiche o sensibili al freddo durante il periodo invernale), proposto dalla mitica e adoratissima Sara la quale, purtroppo, non sarà presente oggi a causa di una dolorosa rottura di unghie.
Saretta, sono con te! ♡

After a looooong day (university exam, funeral, shopping afternoon - 37 new bottles found home, haha, rain, rain, rain), here's my post!
I know, you couldn't wait for it LOL and here I ammm!
First things first: today's theme is by lovely Sara - who, sadly, cannot be one of us because of a painful nail braking - and is "Giardino d'Inverno", which is the italian for orangerie, the places where one puts exotic or fragile plants while the cold season is on.

And here's what I've used for today mani:

• Sinful Colors Matte Rise & Shine;
• Sinful Colors HD Nails;
• Sinful Colors Mint Apple;
• Sinful Colors Glass Pink;
• Sinful Colors Purple Diamond;
• Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar;
• Sinful Colors Matte Savage;
• Sinful Colors Snow Me White.
L'idea è stata semplice, dopo una base di nero matte, ho creato, con lo striping tape, il tetto di vetro di una serra sull'anulare, sul quale ho creato il riflesso con il bianco.
Sulle altre unghie, ho creato una sorta di ghirlande con timidi fiorellini dai colori tenui, oltre che al rosso simile alle bacche.

• Sinful Colors Glass Pink;

The idea was simple: after a matte black, I've created, with striping tape, the glass roof of a greenhouse on the ring finger nail, over which I've put the white reflection.
On the other nails, I've create some sort of garland with some shy little flowers.

Dopo aver finito il tutto, essendo un po' lucida e un po' no, ho passato sopra una mano di top coat matte, il Ciaté Mattnificent. Ecco il risultato:

After that I've used Ciaté Mattnificent because it was partly matte and partly shiny. Here's the result:

A mio personalissimo parere, la prima versione "mista" è più carina ma devo dire che mi è piaciuta anche la seconda versione.
Sì, sono rimasta abbastanza soddisfatta del tutto.
Voi cosa ne pensate?
Quali modifiche avreste apportato?

IMHO, the first "mixed" versione is more cuter, but I like the second version too.
Yup, I am somehow satisfied by this mani.

Giardino d'Inverno #03 [Sport] - Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree? + bowling nail art

Essendo venerdì, oggi si torna a parlare di matte/satin/suede e Giardino d'Inverno.
Oggi ho uno smalto speciale. Non in quanto a colorazione e via dicendo, ma perché è la mia base nera, il mio nero usato per qualsiasi cosa... insomma, ha un posto speciale nel mio cuore da nail polish addict ♡

Good morning ♡
Being Friday, it's time for me to talk about matte/satin/suede lacquers and about Giardino d'Inverno twinsie posts.
Today I have a special polish. Not because of its shade and so on but just because it is my own black base, the black lacquer I use for anything... so, it has a special place in my nail polish addict heart ♡

Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree? è un semplicissimo nero satinato - satin - con nulla di speciale, appartenente alla collezione Femme Fatale del 2009.
Si asciuga in un po' più di tempo rispetto ai matte e ha una durata non troppo buona (massimo un paio di giorni prima di tip wear senza top coat) ma pur sempre in linea con gli smalti con questo finish.

Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree? is a simply, almost boring, satin nail polish from Femme Fatale collection (2009).
The drying time is a bit longer than other matte lacquers and it's not that long lasting (max a couple of days and - voilà - tip wear, without top coat), as for the other lacquers with this kind of finish.

Come potreste già sapere, questi post hanno anche un tema da seguire per creare una nail art (ciò non è obbligatorio).
Ad ogni modo, il tema di oggi è stato scelto da Francine ed è lo sport.
Non sono, personalmente, un'amante dello sport ma, se c'è qualcosa a cui amo giocare, quello è il bowling.
Per cui, ecco i miei birilli:

Giardino d'Inverno #02 [Tecnica Nail Art] - Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure™

Anche quest'oggi ho deciso di seguire il tema di oggi, proposto da Piola, ovvero una tecnica nail art.
E la mia nail art è sotto "™", ovvero...

Good evening and welcome to the second Giardino d'Inverno post.
For today, the theme, thanks to Piola, is 'nail art technique'.
And my pick for today is a "™"...

Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure.
Set che si propone di ricreare un effetto lavagna sulle unghie, grazie a:

Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure.
This set helps to recreate a chalkboard effect over the nails, thanks to:

Chalkboard Pain Pot, ovvero un nero matte, 4 pennarelli a base d'acqua (qualcuno ha detto "uni posca"?) nelle colorazioni Satchel (bianco), Recess (giallo), Teacher's Pet (azzurro) e Jump Rope (rosa) e a Mattnificent, un top coat matte.
Come funziona il tutto?

Chalkboard Paint Pot, black matte nail polish, 4 water based colours (did anyone say "uni posca"?) in shades Satchel (white), Recess (yellow), Teacher's Pet (light blue) and Jump Rope (pink) and Mattnificent, a matte top coat.
How does this work?

Prima di tutto, si stende il nero matte.

First thing: 2 coats of matte black.

Successivamente, bisogna disegnare liberamente con i pennarelli.

Second step: doodle with coloured pens over nails.

E infine, via di matte top coat!
Come vedete, hanno quasi tutti dato giù colore (e ho passato il TC dopo 35 minuti rispetto ai pennarelli)... la durata è bassina ma l'effetto è carino (e facilmente ricreabile).
Il top coat è molto carino, così come la base... ma la durata è *davvero* bassa.
Vi lascio alle fanciulle, che troverete qui sotto, ora devo scappare, domani passo a trovarvi :)

And last, matte top coat!
As you can see, the pens have bleeded with the top coat (which I've put after over 35minutes)... this mani doesn't last much but it is quite cute (and you can recreate it... it's super easy).
The top coat is very cute, as the base... but the lasting is *really* low.
