[B&F-F/W16-17] Biography: Elizabeth - A ENGLAND Crown Of Thistle

Con questo post vado finalmente alla pariiiii :D
Parliamo di documentari o biografici e... uhm... io chiamo Elizabeth!

We talk about documentaries and biographies and... well, I've picked Elizabeth!

Me la sono giocata abbastanza semplice, scegliendo lo smalto A England Crown Of Thistle un bel viola intenso della collezione Elizabeth & Mary!
E' un one coater ma, visto che avevo caricato male il pennello, ho dovuto dare una seconda passata.
Asciugatura lampo e durata ottima, in pieno stile A England.

I play this simply, picking A England Crown Of Thistle, a bright purple from the Elizabeth & Mary collection.
This lacquer is a one coater but, since I've loaded badly my brush, I've needed an extra coat.
As all A England lacquers, super fast drying time and amazing lasting.

Chiaramente non potevo fermarmi qui, così ho tirato fuori alcune fidate plate MoYou London, Mother Nature 06 e Biker 08, e diverse boccette A England - Fonteyn, Captive Goddess, Proserpine, Princess Sabra & Natasha's Dance War&Peace.
Cos'ho combinato? Ho semplicemente stampato sopra il bel viola olografico scattered delle rose a richiamare la casata Tudor.

Clearly, I couldn't stop there, so I've grabbed MoYou London Mother Nature 06 and Biker 08 plates and some A England bottles - Fonteyn, Captive Goddess, Proserpine, Princess Sabra & Natasha's Dance War&Peace.
Then what? I've simply stamped over the scattered holo purple some roses to recall Tudor dinsaty.

Beh, cosa ne pensate?

[B&F-F/W16-17] Drama: Desperate Housewives - ILNP Deja Vu

Questa sera recupero il post dedicato ai film drammatici.
Beh, in realtà non è un film. Oggi parlo di telefilm.
Un telefilm oramai concluso da un po' di tempo ma, a dirvela tutto, il mio preferito.
La prima serie TV che io abbia mai seguito dalla prima all'ultima puntata: Desperate Housewives!

This evening I catch up with the post about drama movies. 
Well, not movie, actually. Today I share something about a TV Series, one that ended a while back but, I need to say, my favourite one. The first TV series which I've followed from the first to the very last episode: Desperate Housewives!

Per far ciò sono stata mentalmente un po' contorta, haha.
Vedete, le vicende accadono in quel di Wisteria Lane, traducibile come viale dei glicini.
Ed ecco il mio bel smalto ispirato ai colori del glicine, ILNP Deja Vu, olografico da paura risalente alla collezione primaverile del 2016.
3 passate, asciugatura rapidissima e durata da favola. Che cosa volere di più?

And here's my beautiful wisteria shade ILNP Deja Vu, from Spring 2016 Collection.
3 coats, fast drying time and gorgeous lasting. What else could I ask for?

Le casalinghe disperate Susan, Brie, Lynette e Gabrielle, alle quali nel corso della storia si aggiungono altre protagoniste, avevano un'unica traduzione: il giocare a poker assieme.
Ed ecco la mia stamping nail art dai colori del glicine dedicata al poker.

Susan, Brie, Lynette and Gabrielle, around which other characters revolves as the story goes on, had one tradition: poker together.
And here's my poker-related stamping nail art.

[B&F-F/W16-17] Animation/Comic: Frozen - CBL Twinkling Lights

Ne è passato di tempo dall'ultimo post programmato.
Ne è passato talmente tanto che... questo fine settimana arriva il post conclusivo della nostra Books&Films - Fall Winter 2016-17 Challenge.
E sia mai che, almeno per il gran finale, manchi.
Per cui ecco il primo dei post per questo rush finale, dove recupero tutti gli appuntamenti non pubblicati.

It's been a long time, since my last planned post.
It's been such a long time that... this weekend there will be the final Books&Films Fall-Winter 2016-17 Challenge post.
And I can not miss the grand finale.
So here's the first post of my final sprint, when I catch up my not-posted-yet posts.

Come da titolo, si parla di film d'animazione. Questo, per me, è stato un po' un problema. Vedete, io ho un ENORME punto debole... che si chiama Disney.
Per cui ho scelto il più recente che mi abbia letteralmente fatto impazzire: Frozen!
E quale miglior smalto del Colors by Llarowe Twinkling Lights della collezione Holiday 2016 per richiamare il scintillio nevoso?

As you might've wondered from the title, we're talking about animation movies. And this is so much of a problem. You see, I have a HUGE soft spot... it's called Disney.
So I've picked the most recent movie that made me literally crazy: Frozen!
And what better lacquer than CbL Holiday 2016 collection Twinkling Lights to  recall the twinkling snow?

3 passate in foto, con l'aggiunta di un top coat lucido (asciuga semi-matte).
Tornando a Frozen, ho aggiunto il China Glaze Snow Globe sulle punte e ho stampato con uno smalto bianco e uno argento olografico dei fiocchi di neve, al centro dei quali ho applicato un glitter quadrato olografico dello smalto Sally Hansen 640 Open Mica Night.

3 coats in my photos, plus a shiny top coat since it dries with a demi-matte finish.
Taking back to Frozen, I've added on the outer edge of my nails some China Glaze Snow Globe and I've stamped using a white and a holo silver lacquers some snowflakes and then I've added a squared holo glitter using Sally Hansen 640 Open Mica Night in the middle of my snowflakes.

[B&F-F/W16-17] Historical: Downton Abbey - ILNP Stopping Traffic

Oggi vi porto indietro nel tempo grazie al post dedicato ai film/libri storici.

Today we walk back in time thank to this historical books/movies post.

Ero indecisissima per questo post, volevo giocare con qualche film storico inglese per andare a puntare a diverse boccette AEngland; successivamente volevo buttarmi su qualche vicenda norrena grazie a diversi libri in mio possesso o alla serie Vikings... e, invece, ha prevalso il mio amore per la serie tv britannica del mio cuore! No, non è Top Gear, ahahahah! Parlo di Downton Abbey!
Per far ciò ho utilizzato come base il recentissimo ILNP Stopping Traffic, rosso olografico della collezione di questa stagione.

I was sooo much uncertain about this post... I wanted to play with some British historical movie and go on some A England lacquers... then I really liked the idea of playing with some of my nordic myths books or the tv series Vikings... and no, my love for a British tv series prevail. And no, I'm not talking about Top Gear, LOL! I'm talking about Downton Abbey.
For doing so, I've pick one of the newest ILNP lacquers, Stopping Traffic, a red holographic nail polish from this season's collection.

Ovviamente non mi sono fermata qui, mi sono lasciata ispirare dalle fantasie di broccato che spuntano un po' ovunque nella serie.
Ed ecco cosa ne è uscito, grazie al Colour Alike B. a Yellow Light e alla plate MoYou London Fashionista 07.

Obviously, I didn't stop here, I've got inspired by brocade patterns all over the series.
And here's what's come out thanks to Colour Alike B. a Yellow Light and MoYou London Fashionista Plate 07.

Here we are with our fourth post about thriller.

Io ho scelto una serie TV, How To Get Away With Murder, e mi sono ispirata alle loro locandine nere con gli schizzi di sangue sopra.
Ed ecco la base, il bellissimo e - da me - desideratissimo ILNP Missed Calls, olografico nero uscito nell'estate del 2015.

I've chosen a TV series, How To Get Away With Murder, and got my inspiration thanks to the black posters with blood splatters on them.
And here it is the base colour the beautiful and so-long-desired - from me, at least - ILNP Missed Calls, a black holographic nail polish from the 2015 Summer Ultra Holo Collection.

2 passate facili facili per un'effetto da far cadere la mascella con più o meno qualsiasi tipologia di luce, grazie al finish ULTRA Holo.
In più, ho provato ad aggiungerci dell'effetto splatter grazie al fratellino ILNP Stopping Traffic... il risultato non mi convince, ma eccolo di seguito!

2 easy coats for a jaw-dropping effect with any lights condition thanks to its ULTRA holo finish.
I've tried to add a splatter effect on it thanks to ILNP Stopping Traffic... I'm not sure about the result, but here it is!

Birthstone Challenge: Turquoise - Kiko 298 Turchese Microglitter + Re-Cap

Oggi siamo al nostro ultimo post inerente le gemme dei mesi.
Dicembre ha come protagonista il turchese, vediamo cos'ho combinato!

Good morning and merry beginning of this week.
Today we host our last post of the Birthstone Challenge.
December has turquoise as gemstone, let's see what I've done!

Affidandomi anche al nome, ecco il Kiko 298, Turchese Microglitter, un topper glass flecked ad effetto brina che mi piace tanto.
Nelle foto da solo lo vedete, da sinistra verso destra, da 2 a 5 passate.

Relying also on the name, here's Kiko 298 a.k.a. Turquoise Microglitter, a glass flecked "frost" effect (not as the finish, but as the "ice" particles on the grass in cold mornings/nights).
2 to 5 coats from left to right below.

Ma per ricreare l'effetto del turchese, ho usato una base di tale colore, il mio fidato Zoya Wednesday, quindi il NYC 010 Top Of The Gold e questo Kiko 298.

But then, I've tried to recreate the turquoise effect just layering using my trustful Zoya Wednesday, NYC 010 Top Of The Gold and this Kiko 298.

Che dite, vi ricorda molto lontanamente un turchese?
