Dicembre ha come protagonista il turchese, vediamo cos'ho combinato!

Today we host our last post of the Birthstone Challenge.
December has turquoise as gemstone, let's see what I've done!

Affidandomi anche al nome, ecco il Kiko 298, Turchese Microglitter, un topper glass flecked ad effetto brina che mi piace tanto.
Nelle foto da solo lo vedete, da sinistra verso destra, da 2 a 5 passate.

Relying also on the name, here's Kiko 298 a.k.a. Turquoise Microglitter, a glass flecked "frost" effect (not as the finish, but as the "ice" particles on the grass in cold mornings/nights).
2 to 5 coats from left to right below.

Ma per ricreare l'effetto del turchese, ho usato una base di tale colore, il mio fidato Zoya Wednesday, quindi il NYC 010 Top Of The Gold e questo Kiko 298.

But then, I've tried to recreate the turquoise effect just layering using my trustful Zoya Wednesday, NYC 010 Top Of The Gold and this Kiko 298.

Che dite, vi ricorda molto lontanamente un turchese?

January - June 2014 Re-Cap Post

Sì, altra novità di quest'anno: provo a cimentarmi in un post di ricapitolazione semestrale.

Yup, another new kind of post today: I'm going to try writing an half-yearly post.

In gennaio, c'è stata un'indubbia prevalenza di boccette sui toni del blu, come l'O·P·I Can't Find My Czechbook, il Kiko Quick Dry 838 Blu Petrolio, lo Shaka 740 Dark Acquamarine, lo Shaka Sea e il Sally Hansen 651 Don't Be Blue!. L'O·P·I Simply Smash-ing ha fatto da rappresentante sia per il verde che per il giallo; poi ci sono stati il Depend 368 rosa e il Debby ColorPLAY 49 nero.
L'appuntamento del Discontinued Day ha portato alla ribalta l'Eyeko Vampira.
Ma le vere novità di quest'anno sono state gli appuntamenti con il Giardino d'Inverno, che è continuato anche in febbraio e in marzo, e l'appuntamento mensile con la Birthstone Challenge, a gennaio rappresentata dal Sinful Colors 839 Sugar Sugar. Inoltre, come primo post dell'anno, ho mostrato la mia nail art per il mio capodanno.

In January, most of the posts were blue like O·P·I Can't Find My Czechbook, Kiko Quick Dry 838 Teal Green, Shaka 740 Dark Acquamarine, Shaka Sea and Sally Hansen 651 Don't Be Blue!. O·P·I Simply Smash-ing represented both yellow and green; then there were the pink Depend 368 and the black Debby ColorPLAY 49.
For Discontinued Day I had Eyeko Vampira.
But the news this year were the Giardino d'Inverno challenge, which went on on February and March too, and the monthly Birthstone Challenge, which in January was garnet and Sinful Colors 839 Sugar Sugar. But the first post of the year it was my New Year's Eve nail art.

Febbraio ha portato con se colori più vari, come il NYC 010 Top Of The Gold, O·P·I Sprung, Maybelline 317 So Chic Pink, Mi-Ny 42 Calla Lily, Kiko 265 Blu China, Essence Color&Go 165 Here's My Number, Nicōle By O·P·I Follow Me On Glitter, Wjcon Burlesque 05 e Sally Hansen 417 Barracuda. La pietra del mese, l'ametista, è stata rappresentata dal Giorgio Armani 704 Amethyst.

Infine, ho rappresentato sulle mie unghie il mio amore per il mio adorato cane Chow Chow, con la Nala Nail Art.

February brought many different shades such as NYC 010 Top Of The Gold, O·P·I Sprung, Maybelline 317 So Chic Pink, Mi-Ny 42 Calla Lily, Kiko 265 China Blue, Essence Color&Go 165 Here's My Number, Nicōle By O·P·I Follow Me On Glitter, Wjcon Burlesque 05 and Sally Hansen 417 Barracuda. Birthstone Challenge had Giorgio Armani 704 Amethyst as gem of the month.

Last but not least, my beloved Nala Nail Art.

Marzo ha avuto come protagonisti il Mi-Ny Sugar Chic 04 Candy Jupiter, Kiko 245 Rubino Scuro Perlato, Sephora Mirror Mirror, Mi-Ny 111 J.J., O·P·I He Blue It This Time! e la palette Naked3 di Urban Decay. Per il Discontinued Day c'è stato il Depend 313; la nuova challenge settimanale è stata The Rainbow Ladies 2.0, terminata a giugno. Lo smalto giallo del mese, in onore della festa delle donne, è stato O·P·I Oy-Another Polish Joke!. L'acquamarina è stata invece rappresentata dal Wjcon 138. Infine, ho introdotto l'haul trimestrale.

The main roles in March were played by Mi-Ny Sugar Chic 04 Candy Jupiter, Kiko 245 Pearly Dark Ruby, Sephora Mirror Mirror, Mi-Ny 111 J.J., O·P·I He Blue It This Time! and Urban Decay Naked3 palette. Depend 313 was posted for the Discontinued Day; The Rainbow Ladies 2.0, ended in June, was the new weekly challenge. For the women's international day I posted O·P·I Oy-Another Polish Joke!. My aquamarine was Wjcon 138. Last but not least, my new term haul.

In Aprile ci sono stati: Wjcon 151, Pupa Chrome 018 Sky Blue, Kiko Sugar Mat 451 Apricot, Mi-Ny 245 I Love Milano, Layla Magneffect 17 Deep Violet, Gabriella Salvete 08 Azzurro, Shaka G6 Mistery, Sinful Colors 1106 Cinderella e Sally Hansen 416 Green Tea.
Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux – Island Camaïeu Edition Limitée 17 Island Lagoon è stato protagonista nel Discontinued Day, mentre il diamante è stato portato in scena dal L'Oréal 912 Diamond Lurex.

April brought: Wjcon 151, Pupa Chrome 018 Sky Blue, Kiko Sugar Mat 451 Apricot, Mi-Ny 245 I Love Milano, Layla Magneffect 17 Deep Violet, Gabriella Salvete 08 Azzurro, Shaka G6 Mistery, Sinful Colors 1106 Cinderella and Sally Hansen 416 Green Tea.
Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux – Island Camaïeu Edition Limitée 17 Island Lagoon was on Discontinued Day, and my diamond was L'Oréal 912 Diamond Lurex.

A Maggio, invece, ha visto come protagonisti: Pupa Sugar Candy 001 Lilac, Depend 372, Revlon Parfumerie 040 Wintermint, Pupa Sugar Candy 006 Pink, Pupa Sandy Matt 001 Blue, Kiko 524 Blu Multicolor e Kiko 522 Blu Zaffiro Perlato. Il mio smeraldo è stato il Kiko 411 Illusion Green e la mia chicca discontinuata è stata il suo fratello 440 Electron Blue. Menzione d'onore per l'A England Order Of The Garter, postato nel giorno del mio compleanno.

My emerald was Kiko 411 Illusion Green and for the Discontinued Day I choose its sibling 440 Electron Blue. For my birthday post, it was time of A England Order Of The Garter.

E, infine, Giugno, con i vari: Kiko 497 Viola Indiano Perlato (e comparazione), Kiko 525 Azzurro Pastello Metallico, Mi-Ny 59 Pollock, Depend 251, Pupa Sugar Candy 003 Green, Debby ColorPLAY 190 e Wjcon 139. Giardino d'Inverno - Recap Post

Finora, non ho mai fatto post di ricapitolazione ma quest'oggi mi andava proprio.
Sì, ieri è terminata la serie di appuntamenti Giardino d'Inverno e, avendo creato "nail art" in ogni post ho pensato che fosse carino dare loro un'ultima occhiata in un unico post.
Nel primo appuntamento, il cui tema era "inverno", ho presentato il Sinful Color 940 Matte Rise And Shine e vi ho stampato sopra dei fiocchi di neve col suo fratello Savage.

Until today I've never written a re-cap post but I really wanted to, today.
Yesterday, as you might know, ended the appointment Giardino d'Inverno, in which I've always created "nail arts"... so I think it's nice to take a last gaze at what I've created over the last couple of months.
In the first post, which had "winter" as theme, I've showed Sinful Color 940 Matte Rise And Shine and I've stamped over it some snowflakes using its brother Savage.

Il secondo appuntamento, "tecnica nail art", ha permesso di mostrarvi il set per la Chalkboard Manicure di Ciaté.

The second post was about "nail art techniques" and that let me show you Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure Set.

Il terzo appuntamento mi ha leggermente spiazzata a causa del tema, "sport". Ma, dopo aver mostrato il Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree?, sono riuscita a intavolare una nail art dedicata al bowling.

I've found the third post a bit tricky because the theme was "sport". But, after some swatches of Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree?, I've created a bowling nail art.

Il quarto appuntamento prendeva il tema direttamente dalla serie di post, ovvero "giardino d'inverno" e ho ricreato... un giardino d'inverno, od orangerie che si preferisca.

The fourth post was about Orangerie (a.k.a. Giardino d'Inverno in italian).
And that mean... an orangerie over nails!

Per il quinto appuntamento il tema deciso era "Klimt", pittore che non amo particolarmente. Ma, cercando di ispirarmi al suo Albero Della Vita, ho ricreato ciò che vedete nella foto seguente.

The fifth post was about "Klimt", a not-near-to-my-heart painter. But, inspired by his Tree Of Life, I've created what you can see below.

Il sesto appuntamento cadeva il 14 febbraio e, ovviamente, il tema era "san Valentino".
Io ho optato per qualcosa di semplice e banale, il mostrare uno smalto, Karaja Nail Mat Quick Dry n.1, su cui ho stampato un cuore con un rosso cromato della Pupa, sull'anulare.

The sixth post was on 14th Feb. so, clearly, the theme was "Valentine Day".
I've chosen to show swatches of Karaja Nail Mat Quick Dry n.1 and a little heart stamped on the ring finger nail using a red chrome lacquered from Pupa.

Il settimo appuntamento mi ha permesso di mostrare una delle nail art che mi siano piaciute di più fatte da me, grazie al tema "motivi geometrici".

The seventh post let me show you one of my fav nail art ever by me thanks to the "geometric motifs" theme.

All'ottavo appuntamento, la mia pazienza ha dato il meglio di se' con una nail art dedicata al carnevale, dato che il tema recitava "carnevale/dolci".

The eight post I've followed the theme, "carnival/sweets", literally.
To recreate that my patience was huuuge.

Il nono appuntamento mi ha permesso di mostrarvi la mia nail art preferita, creata seguendo il tema "libro preferito". In pieno Signore degli Anelli, rieccola qui!

The ninth post let me showed my fav nail art ever, thanks to "favourite book" theme. Here it is, my Lord of the Rings nail art!

Il decimo appuntamento, purtroppo l'ultimo di questa magica saga, portava con se' "tema floreale".
Beh, avendola postata ieri non ho niente da aggiungere, ma rieccola.

The tenth post, sadly the last one, had "floral theme".
Well, I don't have further infos to add, having posted it just yesterday. But here it is.
