Siamo nuovamente al giro di boa anche per questa settimana, io vedo il periodo di ferie e festa sempre più vicino e fra poco faremo tutti "ciao-ciao" con la manina a questo periodo di stress.

This new week is already half gone, I can clearly see the holidays round the corner and soon we'll be able to sat farewell to this stressful time.

Per lo stamping odierno non ho utilizzato le mie fidate MoYou London ma bensì una plate rettangolare della Bundle Monster, la BM-S219.
Lei fa parte del mio primissimo ordine BMC e sono molto soddisfatta di queste plate.

For today's stamping I've not used my beloved MoYou London plate but a squared Bundle Monster plate, BM-S219.
It's part of my very first BMC order and I have to say that I'm really pleased by these plates' quality.

La base è ILNP Good Vibes sul quale ho prima stampato utilizzando il bianco Essence stamp me! 001 white e poi ho ristampato con i Sinful Colors 839 Sugar Sugar e 926 HD Nails.
Infine, ho aggiunto dei glitter dal Sinful Colors 1382 Holiday Rebel.

The base colour is ILNP Good Vibes over which I've stamped using Essence stamp me! 001 White and then I've stamped over it using Sinful Colors 839 Sugar Sugar and 926 HD Nails.
Then, I've added some glitters out of Sinful Colors 1382 Holiday Rebel.

FINISHPEDIA: Flakies - Color Club The Uptown

con imbarazzante ritardo - chiedo scusa alle amiche che partecipano a questo appuntamento - ecco il mio post dedicato alla nostra FinishPedia e al finish per questa settimana: i flakies!
Ma cosa sono i flakies? Sono smalti che presentano scagliette irregolari - spesso cangianti - in una base jelly e, molto spesso, talmente sheer da dover utilizzarli per layering, come per lo smalto che vi mostro qui. Ma ci sono anche smalti flakies non obbligatoriamente da stratificare, come il MI-NY I Love Milano, l'O·P·I Merry Midnight e il Layla Butterfly Effect.

I'm so sorry to be so late... here's my Finishpedia post of the week. Today we have flakies lacquers to show you!
What are flakies lacquers? Well, they have a jelly/sheer base with opalescent particles. They are often to layer, such as what I'm going to share, but sometimes they can be opaque, such as MI-NY I Love Milano, O·P·I Merry Midnight and Layla Butterfly Effect.

Lui è il Color Club The Uptown (versione originale), flakies oro/arancioni/verdi su base viola jelly.
Eccolo in 5 mani sottili senza base colorata.

This is Color Club The Uptown (original version), gold/orange/green flakies in a purple jelly base.
Here it is, 5 very thin coats without base colour.

Ecco invece come appare sopra a delle basi colorate (Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Color Club Where's The Soiree?, O·P·I Do You Vant To Bite My Neck? e O·P·I He Blue It This Time!).

Here it is, over some colored base (Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Color Club Where's The Soiree?, O·P·I Do You Vant To Bite My Neck? and O·P·I He Blue It This Time!)

E, infine, con una passata di top coat matt.

And, last but not least, with a matt top coat.

Lui è stato riformulato in una seconda versione non altrettanto bella e non flakies! Lo sapevate? Guardate QUA.

FINISHPEDIA: Frost - Sinful Colors 926 HD Nails

Buon venerdì e benvenuti a un nuovo appuntamento della nostra Finishpedia!
Il protagonista del post odierno è un finish per il quale ho sentimenti contrastanti: il frost.
Questo finish è una sorta di crocevia fra shimmer/metallic/pearl, presenta shimmer finissimi e i non proprio simpatici brushstrokes (i segni lasciati dal pennello). Normalmente, i miei smalti frost sono arrivati a casa nell'illusione che le boccette contenessero smalti metallizzati.
E' il caso del mio esempio sottostante.

Happy Friday and welcome to this new Finishpedia post!
Today we talk about a loved/hated finish: frost.
This finish is a sort of in-the-middle version between shimmer, metallic and pearl finish, with very fine shimmer and the not-that-lovely brushstrokes. Usually, my frost are bought thinking of them as metallics.
And below you find one of them.

MoYou London in Wonderland - Stamping Nail Art(s)

Questo post programmato arriva a tarda ora - pianificato per le ore 23:59 - in quanto fra un minuto finisce la competition che MoYou London ha organizzato per celebrare il raggiungimento dei 30'000 followers su Instagram.
Sostanzialmente, si poteva postare una nail art a settimana basata sui personaggi di Alice In Wonderland utilizzando le plates MoYou London (ispirandosi al personaggio, pensando a cosa avrebbe indossato sulle unghie ecc).
Ogni settimana il personaggio dal quale prendere ispirazione era diverso.
Vediamo assieme cos'ho combinato!

Anyone could post one brand new stamping nail art inspired by Alice In Wonderland character of the week using MoYou London plates each week (4 weeks in total).
Let's see what I've done!

L'avete riconosciuto da voi? La prima settimana era il momento della Regina Di Cuori!
Pollice: mi sono ispirata ai suoi fiori bianchi/rossi (cartone animato Disney docet) - Kiko 297, 343, 236, e 101. Plate Princess 14.
Indice: una regina di cuori senza cuori? No way! Kiko 101 e 236. Plate Princess 14.
Medio: una bella guardia-carta di cuori! Su uno sfondo rosso olografico, Catherine Arley 800, utilizzando il Color Club Where's 854 The Soiree? e Kiko 101. Plate Fairytale 04.
Anulare: l'anulare è ispirato alla gonna nella versione cartoon disneyano di Sua Maestà, Layla Hologram Effect 09 Gold Idol, Color Club Where's The Soiree? e rhinestone MoYou London. Plate Festive 03.
Mignolo: infine, come far mancare un bel fenicottero? Tutti Kiko, qui: 340, 343, 279, 289. Plate Fairytale 04.

Did you recognized the angry Queen Of Hearts? The first week was about her!
Thumb: I was inspired by her white/red roses in the Disney cartoon - Kiko 297, 343, 236, and 101. Princess 14 plate.
Pinky: Queen of Heart without hearts? No way! Kiko 101 and 236, using Princess 14 plate.
Middle: card-guard! On a holo base colour, Catherine Arley 800, using Color Club Where's 854 The Soiree? and Kiko 101. Fairytale 04 plate.
Ring: it was inspired by Disney dress skirt, Layla Hologram Effect 09 Gold Idol, Color Club Where's The Soiree? and MoYou London rhinestone. Festive 03 plate.
Pinky: last but not least, how to not put in a flamingo? Kiko 340, 343, 279, 289. Fairytale 04 plate.

E' tardi è tardi ormai, io son già in mezzo ai guai!
Per il Bianconiglio ho utilizzato come base il mio adorato Pretty Jelly Mizzle (a dicembre su questi schermi).
Indice: Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White, Color Club Where's The Soiree? e Pupa 224 per il signor coniglio a mano libera.
Medio: Butterflies, of course. E utilizzando i colori del suo outfit disneyano. Kiko 279, 236 e 327; plate Princess 14.
Anulare: ...rimane pur sempre a servizio di Sua Maestà la Regina di Cuori, no? Per cui un bel cuore della Princess 14 utilizzando O·P·I OPI Red e Orly Star Spangled.
Mignolo: Questo fiocco era inteso per richiamare il papillon del nostro coniglio ritardatario. Color Club Where's The Soiree? e Orly Star Spangled; plate Festive 01.

I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!
White Rabbit stamping mani has my beloved Pretty Jelly Mizzle (coming on December!) as base colour.
Pointer: Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White, Color Club Where's The Soiree? and Pupa 224 for my freehanded White Rabbit.
Middle: butterflies, of course! Using Mr. Rabbit's Disney outfit colours. Kiko 279, 236 and 327; Princess 14 plate.
Ring: ...he still is at Her Majesty's service, isn't he? So a big big heart using O·P·I OPI Red e Orly Star Spangled and Princess 14 plate.
Pinky: this bow was intended to recall mr. Rabbit's bow-tie. Color Club Where's The Soiree? and Orly Star Spangled; Festive 01 plate.

E arrivato il momento per andare a festeggiare con una bella tazza di te' il nostro non compleanno assieme al Cappellaio Matto!
La base, comune a tutte le unghie, è O·P·I Thanks A Windmillion e Polish Alcoholic Rieppeleon (Holo).
Indice: un regalo, che non compleanno sarebbe senza? A England Saint George e plate Festive 03.
Medio: e ovviamente la nostra tazza di te' fumante! China Glaze Emerald Sparkle e plate Fairytale 04.
Anulare: questa french colorata è stata pensata per ricreare il cappello del nostro amico Matto. A England Saint George ed A England Excalibur.
Mignolo: il cappello intero ricreato col China Glaze Emerald Sparkle e la plate Gothic 02.

And now, let's celebrate our very merry un-birthday with a Mad Tea Party with our friend Mad Hatter!
The base colour is O·P·I Thanks a Windmillion and Polish Alcoholic Rieppeleon (Holo).
Pointer: a present, of course! What unbirthday would it be without it? A England Saint George and Festive 03 plate.
Middle: here it is, our steaming hot tea cup! China Glaze Emerald Sparkle and Fairytale 04 plate.
Ring: this colorful french was inspired by our Mad Hatter hat. A England Saint George and A England Excalibur.
Pinky: the whole hat stamped using China Glaze Emerald Sparkle and Gothic 02 plate.

Dulcis in fundo, Alice! La nostra graziosa e psicopatica bambina. Le due basi alternate sono entrambe Kiko: 340 e 431 con una passata di Polish Alcoholic Intergalactic Dust per dare un'effetto olografico adatto a questo mondo incantato.
Indice: le evanescenti farfalle riproposte nuovamente sono state stampate con tutti Kiko: 277, 530 e 532; plate Princess 14.
Medio: come far mancare lo Stregatto? Plate Fairytale 04 e Kiko 254.
Anulare: Questo vortice effetto "carta velina" è stato ricreato con il Kiko 101 e la già usata plate Festive 03.
Mignolo: dove avremmo lasciato la nostra chiave? Potremmo farcelo suggerire dalla nostra serratura parlante! China Glaze Harvest Moon e plate Gothic 02.

Dulcis in fundo, Alice! Our pretty little psycho girl. The two base colours are Kiko 340 and 431 with a coat of Polish Alcoholic Intergalactic Dust to give the perfect effect to the nails inspired by this bright and colorful wonderland.
Pointer: the evanescent butterflies were stamped using Kiko 277, 530 and 532; Princess 14 plate.
Middle: how can we avoid the Cheshire Cat? Fairytale 04 plate and Kiko 254.
Ring: This "tissue paper" effect vortex has been created with Kiko 101 and Festive 03 plate.
Pinky: where is our key? Let's ask to the Doorknob! China Glaze Harvest Moon and Gothic 02 plate.

Due frasi con le mie considerazioni finali: questa challenge l'ho affrontata a cuor leggero e per migliorare le mie capacità di stamping (decisamente implementate), non certo illudendomi di un'eventuale vittoria o che, in qualche modo anche per ringraziare le persone di MoYou London per il loro stupendo lavoro.
Inoltre, sono rimasta estremamente sorpresa dalla crescita delle mie unghie in tre settimane, come potrete notare in foto!

A couple of final thoughts: I didn't take part in this challenge hoping to win or what else, I did it to improve my stamping skills (mission: accomplished!) and in someway to thank MoYou London for their beautiful work.
Besides that, I have been amazed by my nail growth above... that was in 3 weeks!

EuRoPe: United Kingdom - Flag Nail Art (England, Wales, Scotland, Norther Ireland)

Il furgoncino della felicità questo venerdì prosegue il suo viaggio e ci porta nel Regno Unito.
E, per questo speciale appuntamento, niente swatch, solo una “misera” nail art!
Al solito, sapete che sono un’affezionata delle bandiere, ma questa volta ne avevo fin troppe… Sì, perché sappiamo tutti che il Regno Unito viene rappresentato dalla Union Jack ma le nazioni costitutive sono ben 4, qui: Inghilterra, Galles, Scozia e Irlanda del Nord.
Ed ecco cosa ho combinato:

The happy bus this Friday is in the United Kingdom.
No swatch for this special post, just a “tiny” nail art! 
You surely know I am liking national flags but this time there were just too many of them… Yup, we know that UK flag is Union Jack but here there are 4 constituent contries: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. 
Here’s what I’ve done:

La cosa comune è la base bianca, il Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White.
Indice: qui trovate la bandiera inglese, ricreata utilizzando il Kiko 236.
Medio: la bandiera gallese è protagonista del medio, dove ho utilizzato sia il Kiko 296 che il 236, ricreando un dragone stilizzato.
Anulare: la bandiera scozzese, avevo deciso di inserirla indifferentemente da come sarebbero andate le elezioni dello scorso settembre. Il blu è O·P·I He Blue It This Time!.
Mignolo: qui ho ricreato la Union Jack anche per l’Irlanda del Nord che, nonostante a volte venga utilizzata una croce di Sant’Andrea rossa su sfondo bianco per rappresentarla, risulta non aver una bandiera ufficiale, se non l’Union Jack stessa. Kiko 236 in combo con il perfetto Sinful Colors Midnight Blue.
In passato avevo già proposto delle Union Jack sulle unghie, le potete trovare qui, qui e qui.
Per questa nail art stavo aspettando dei pennelli che non sono ancora arrivati, sarebbe dovuta venire fuori in maniera totalmente differente ma, in realtà, sono contenta che non siano ancora arrivati, sono abbastanza soddisfatta di ciò che ne è uscito.
E per oggi è tutto, qui sotto trovate le mie colleghe… intanto fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!

The common thing in this nail art is the white base lacquer – Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White. Pointer: here it is, the English flag, created using Kiko 236.
Middle finger: and the gorgeous Welsh flag has been recreated here in a simple way, using both Kiko 296 and 236.
Ring finger: I’ve chosen to put here the Scottish flag indifferently based on the latest September poll. The blue lacquer is O·P·I He Blue It This Time!.
Pinky: here it is, the beautiful Union Jack! Sometimes Northern Ireland uses a red Saint Andrew cross on a white flag but since Northern Ireland has no official flag besides Union Jack, here it is! Created with Kiko 236 and Sinful Colors Midnight Blue.
In the past, I’ve already made some Union Jack manis, so here they are: X – X – X.
I was waiting for nail art brushes for this nail art, brushes which aren’t arrived yet.
But then, I have to say I’m glad they didn’t already, because I really like the way this nail art went out.

La tecnica dei pennelli asciutti non mi è andata molto bene, questa mia prima volta!

The dry brush technique didn't went well, this first time!
