Essendo il soggetto di quest'oggi la cometa, quale simbolo più perfetto per questo periodo?

And, today, my post is suuuuuper brief... and Christmassy!
Today's subject are comets and what is the most perfect symbol for today?
So, buckle up and get ready for an extra dose of X-mas!

OK, la base è il Nicole by O·P·I Listen to your momager!, su cui ho stampato, utilizzando la MoYou London Festive plate 01, un Babbo Natale su una slitta (indice, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, pallini -"neve"- fatti con Sinful Colors Matte Savage), la trama con alberi di Natale (medio, Sinful Colors Matte Rise & Shine, pallini fatti con China Glaze Emerald Sparkle e Ruby Pumps), la cometa, regina indiscussa del post (anulare, Essence A Piece Of Forever) e fiocchi di neve, circondati da pallini di neve (ha senso? AHAHAHAH - mignolo, Sinful Colors Matte Savage).
Per quest'oggi concludo qui, vi ringrazio di averci seguite con tanto affetto e vi invito a non perdervi i post delle colleghe, che ringrazio per questo percorso assieme, ci leggiamo nei prossimi giorni.

Well, the base colour is Nicole by O·P·I Listen to your momager!, over which I've stamped, using the MoYou London Festive plate 01, a Santa in his sleigh (index, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, polka dots -"snow"- made using Sinful Colors Matte Savage), Christmas tree pattern (middle, Sinful Colors Matte Rise & Shine, polka dots made using China Glaze Emerald Sparkle and Ruby Pumps), the comet, queen of this post (ring finger, Essence A Piece Of Forever) snow flakes, surrounded by snow dots (does this make sense? AHAHAHAH - little finger, Sinful Colors Matte Savage).

Battle Of Planets: Galaxy - My first galaxy nail art ever!

Quale miglior post se non una galaxy?
Per oggi, preparatevi, perché vedrete il mio primo tentativo. Riuscito?

Today, our attention is destined to the galaxy itself.
What better thing to post if not a galaxy on nails?
So, buckle up, here it comes, my first galaxy nail art attempt. Gone well?

Piccola premessa: ecco cos'ho usato e come.
Innanzitutto, ho steso un base coat (Rimmel 5in1 Nail Treat Base&Top Coat Total Care Action). Una volta asciutto, ho steso una mano di nero (nel mio caso specifico, ho usato un matte, il Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree?). Quindi, per dare profondità, ho steso una mano di topper con glitter olografici (Catherine Arley 128). Successivamente, vi ho spugnato del bianco (Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White) un po' a caso, utilizzando una spugnetta da fondotinta che non uso. Poi, ho spugnato, sempre a caso, ma cercando di seguire il bianco, un blu (O·P·I Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue), al quale ho fatto seguire del viola (Sinful Colors 929 Let's Talk), in quantità minore, a sua volta seguito da un rosa (Pupa 300 Barbie Pink), in quantità davvero minima. Infine, ho steso una mano di topper con glitter finissimi argento e dei glitter bianchi (io ho usato l'O·P·I Pirouette My Whistle ma potete tranquillamente fare dei pallini bianchi con un dotter, per simulare le stelle), sul quale ho nuovamente steso una mano di topper con glitter olografici per far risplendere il tutto sotto la luce solare, creando un effetto galattico. Infine, ho sigillato il tutto con un top coat (NYC Turbo Dry Top Coat).

Here's what I've used and how.
First of all, I've used a base coat (Rimmel 5in1 Nail Treat Base&Top Coat Total Care Action). Once dried, one coat of black was good enough to go ahead (I've used a matte one, Color Club 854 Where's The Soiree?). Then, I've used a holographic glitter topper (Catherine Arley 128). So, I've sponged randomly - using an unused foundation sponge - a white lacquer (Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White), over which I've sponged randomly a blue one (O·P·I Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue). Then, I've sponged a tinier quantity of purple (Sinful Colors 929 Let's Talk) and even less pink (Pupa 300 Barbie Pink).
So, I've added a white hex with very fine silver glitters topper (O·P·I Pirouette My Whistle, but you can re-create stars using a white polish and a dotter), over which I've used another coat of holographic glitter topper to add extra shiny stars. Last but not least: top coat (NYC Turbo Dry Top Coat)!

Giovedì scorso (8 giorni fa) ho scattato le foto sopra; quelle sotto, alle quali ho aggiunto un top coat matte (Ciaté Mattnificent), sono state scattate poche ore fa!
Notare il tip wear pressoché assente (ma la ricrescita si fa notare)!!!

Last week, on Thursday (8 days ago), I've taken shot of the previous photos; below you're going to find the same nails but with a matte top coat over them (Ciaté Mattnificent). The photos are from a couple of hours ago!
Notice the absence of tip wear (and the growth of the nails)!!!

Siamo arrivati all'ultimo pianeta. Anzi. Oggi è il turno del pianeta declassato a pianeta nano, Plutone *risatamaligna*.
Il colore? Grigio scuro / nero, of course (che vuol dire "di corsa" *bwahahah*).

And we've just landed on the last planet. Better. Today is about the former planet which is now a dwarf planet, Pluto *eviljiggle*.
The colour? Dark grey / black, of course.

Il colore è perfetto: grigio canna di fucile scuro metallizzato shimmer.

My pick is Secret Admirer, number 933 from Sinful Colors.
Its colour is perfect for today: metallic shimmer dark gunmetal grey.

Buongiorno a voi che leggete questo post a quest'inusuale ora (qui sono le due e mezza di notte).
Oggi per la Battle Of Planets avrò un post davvero rapido.
Mi dispiace di cuore, ma in questo periodo sto tornando a conoscere la vita sociale sfrenata, sono perennemente in festa (e super contenta) e ciò implica che la mia presenza on line sia davvero limitata.

Dopo la one shot a tema halloweenoso di ieri, rieccoci con la battaglia planetaria in cui, pianeta dopo pianeta, colore dopo colore, "risaliamo" il sistema solare insieme.
Oggi siamo giunti alla fascia degli asteroidi, fra Marte e Giove.
Il colore associatogli?
Grigio, of course.

Now we are at Asteroids' post.

Grey, of course.

Sono tutti e tre con un finish quasi foil, diciamo in stile Zoya.
