Quest'anno, ho deciso di fare i post haul a fine trimestre, per cui ecco i miei acquisti cosmetici per questo primo trimestre 2014!

This year, I've decided post my hauls at the end of each term and so here it is, my first 2014 haul post!

Già, come potete notare le spese smaltose hanno prevalso... Ma sono stata più brava dello scorso anno (se non ricordate, provare a dare un'occhiata QUI).
Partendo dai prodotti make up e simili...

Yup, lacquers rule! But I have to say that I have been much nicer than last year (click HERE to understand what I mean).
Let's start with make up things...

Olio 1000 usi BeChic, sto cercando di convincermi.... Due pennelli da ombretto pupa (ne ho un terzo identico col quale mi sono sempre trovata abbastanza bene, erano in offerta e li ho portati a casa) più l'ombretto 801, sempre Pupa, e le due palettine customizzabili di Urban Decay Rock (a sinistra) e Moonflower. L'ombretto compreso in queste due palette che da il nome è quello in alto a sinistra.

Olio 1000 usi BeChic, I'm trying to convince myself about this oil for hands, skin and hair... two Pupa brushes (I've already own a third one which I like and these were on sale, so...) plus Pupa eyeshadow 801 and two customizable palettes from Urban Decay, Rock (on the left) and Moonflower. The eyeshadow up on the left in each palette is the one that came with the palette.

Voglio parlarvi di una boccetta davvero incredibile, anche secondo persone che non amano i colori caldi, come la sottoscritta.

Super brief post for today but I am a bit busy but was willing to post something…
I want to talk about a very special bottle, peculiar thing said from me, who don’t like warm colours.
What am I talking about?

O·P·I Sprung (NL M42) è un bellissimo foil arancione/bronzo/oro/rosso duochrome appartenente alla collezione Mariah Carey.
Dio, quanto vorrei che ci fosse un sole che spacca le pietre per mostrarvelo nel pieno della propria bellezza!
Purtroppo, il sole in questo periodo dell’anno non è proprio stupendo ma, per fortuna, sono riuscita a fare delle foto durante gli ultimi giorni di sole (una settimana fa o giù di lì).

O·P·I Sprung (NL M42) is a gorgeous orange/bronze/gold/red duochrome foil from the Mariah Cary collectio.
God, I wish there were a very hot sun to show this in its total beauty!
Sadly, in winter, here, the sun is not so hot but, luckily, I’ve taken some photos while the latest sunny days were on (a week ago or something like that).

Coprente in tre passate (inizialmente è proprio sheer), ha un buon tempo di asciugatura e un’ottima durata (dopo 4 giorni era ancora perfetto).
E per oggi è tutto, fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!

Fully opaque in 3 coats (at first, it was really sheer), it has a nice drying time and is long lasting (after 4 days it was still perfect).

Dopo avervi mostrato uno smalto infotografabile, mi son detta "perché no, infiliamone un'altro simile".
Ed ecco qui uno smalto per le cui foto dovrete usare... fantasia!

After the latest un-photografable shade I told myself "why not put another one in the blog?".
So here it is! Remember, you're going to need your imagination!

Sì, lasciando perdere la boccette dello Seche Vite, questo è Mod-ern Girl di O·P·I.
Come vi ho già raccontato qui, la boccetta originaria ha deciso di suicidarsi.
Ad ogni modo, questo colore che la mia macchina fotografica tanto odia, è un corallo con un punto di colore stupendo che si riesce a rendere quasi fedelmente solo in ombra, ecco perché troverete come prima foto quella in ombra!

Yup, the bottle is a Seche Vite's.
The lacquer is from O·P·I and is called Mod-ern Girl.
As already written here, the bottle have decided to suicide.
Anyway, this shade that my camera hates so much is a beautiful coral red with a hint of red (rather than orange).
You're going to find the in-the-shade-photos first because there my camera hated this colour a bit less.

Beh, cosa aggiungere?
Durata buona (3 giorni prima di tip wear senza top coat) e un colore davvero estivo.

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Pineapple Fizz

Rieccomi qui dopo una breve “vacanza”.

Quest’estate, la Revlon ha fatto uscire una nuova collezione di smalti profumati, composta da 8 tonalità/odori.
Avendoli trovati in offerta, ho deciso di provarne uno… il che è stato tragico perché, alla fine, ho deciso di acquistarli tutti.
Per cui, eccomi qui, al mio primo “appuntamento fisso”: per una settimana, ve li mostrerò uno al giorno (più una piccola considerazione finale).
Inizialmente, volevo presentarveli in ordine alfabetico, ma il tutto era un po’ incasinato cromaticamente (verde, azzurro, viola…).
Così ho optato per scegliere l’ordine scandito da questa immagine:

Here I am, after a short “holiday”.

This summer, Revlon has made availabe (also) in Italy a new range of 8 scented nail polishes.
There was a special offer, so I tried one… and then the other seven!
So, here we are.
For the next seven days, you will se the whole collection, one for each day (today you’ll see the firsto one).
I was thinking on presenting them in alfabetical order, but it was just too messy (green, light blue, purple…).
So, I’ve decided to present them in this order:

• Pineapple Fizz (lo trovato in questo medesimo post / in this actual post)
• Orange Fizz
• Watermelon Fizz
• Apple-tini Fizz
• Colada Fizz
• Mint Fizz
• Grape Fizz
• Grapefruit Fizz

Ogni smalto ha una profumazione differente, individuabile dal nome dato allo smalto, quello che vi presento oggi, il giallo, chiamato Pineapple Fizz ha odore di ananas, chiaramente.
Ma eccolo steso, senza base né top coat:

Each polish has a different scent, which you can find in the name.
And today is “Pineapple Fizz” ’s turn!
Here is what is like on the nail, with no base nor top coat:

Una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Chiaramente, questi sono smalti da layering, per questo ragione, in ogni post, troverete un’immagine con, come base, altri smalti.
Troverete sempre il nero (indice) e il bianco (medio) più due colori simili allo smalto profumato.
In questo caso, l’immagine è la seguente:

One coat on the little finger, two coats in the index finger and three both on the middle and the ring fingers.
Clearly, they are layering nail polishes, so you’re going to find a picture in which they are used for layering in each post.
You’ll always find a black polish (on the index finger) and a white one (on the middle finger) and two ton sur ton colours.
Here’s the Pineapple Fizz one:

e gli smalti usati come base sono:
• indice: Layla 106 (nero)
• medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• anulare: Revlon 146 Gold Coin (oro)
• mignolo: Kiko 279 Giallo (giallo)

Devo dire che la base nera mi è piaciuta davvero molto con ogni smalto perché fa sì che i “flake” in ogni smalto risaltino un sacco, quasi fossero degli smalti a base trasparente.
In questo caso, mi è piaciuta tantissimo la base dorata, anche se fa molto Natale.

For this picture, I’ve used:
• index finger: Layla 106 (black)
• middle finger: Kiko 101 White French (white)
• ring finger: Revlon 146 Gold Coin (gold)
• little finger: Kiko 279 Giallo (yellow)

I have to say, I love the black base!
The scented polish seems to be a clear base with coloured “flakies”.
Amazing!
I love the gold base too, also if it looks a bit “Yuletide”-ish (and we’re in August!).
