Buongiorno!
Oggi riprendo in mano il quinto appuntamento della nostra twinsie autunno-invernale.
Si parla di musical o poesia e io ho deciso di affrontare il mio musical preferito (seppur frettolosamente, quando ho fatto le foto ero super di corsa e non ho eseguito quello che avrei davvero desiderato).
Parlo di Notre Dame de Paris, musical di successo in tutto il mondo, scritto da Cocciante e Panella/Plamondon.
Personalmente, lo conosco a memoria. Ho il DVD del live a Verona, il CD live, il CD con gli estratti in studio. Dal vivo l'ho visto 4 o 5 volte, due delle quali con il cast storico.
Ma bando alle ciance!

Good morning!
Today I have the fifth post of our twinsie challenge!
We talk about musical and poetry so I've chosen my favourite musical ever-ever-ever (yeah, the nail art didn't turn well, though, I'm sad about it).
I'm talking about Cocciante & Panella/Plamondon/Jennings' Notre Dame de Paris, famous all around the world.
Personally, I know it by hearth. I've got the Live DVD, live CD, studio CD and I've seen it with the original cast 4-5 times.
But enough chit-chat!

Come potete vedere ho scelto l'ILNP Ten Fold della collezione estiva 2015.
Il motivo? Beh, la protagonista femminile è Esmeralda, e questo è un bellissimo verde smeraldo. chiaro, no?

As you can see, I've chosen ILNP Ten Fold out of the summer 2015 Ultra Holo collection.
The reason is because of the female main character, Esmeralda and this is a beautiful emerald green nail polish. Obvious, right?

Solo 3 passate per un risultato spaccaretina a dir poco perfetto.
Nel seguente stamping che richiama le vetrate della cattedrale francese, ho fatto una sorta di prova di stamper. Da sinistra a destra ho usato quello "classico" con la gomma dura rossa (tipo quello Konad, per intenderci), uno trasparente di quelli per vedere attraverso, il MoYou London Marshmallow Sticky e quello rettangolare, sempre MoYou London. Per stampare ho usato l'essence Stamp me! 002 Black e ho riempito alcuni spazi della "vetrata" con tutti smalti ILNP: Industrial Park, Peri Me, Mon Amour, La Catedral, Timeless Vow, Maiden Lane. Ovviamente li ho tutti scelti per i nomi, ad eccezione del primo.

Just 3 coats for a stunning perfect result.
I've then added a stamping nail art which recalls the stained glasses of the French Cathedral.
In the same time, I've done a sort of "test" of some stampers.
L-R, I've used an hard red rubber stamper (Konad-like), a clear one, MoYou London Marshmallow Sticky and MoYou London rectangular stamper. For stamping, I've used essence Stamp me! 002 Black and I've filled in some "glass" spaces using ILNP lacquers: Industrial Park, Peri Me, Mon Amour, La Catedral, Timeless Vow, Maiden Lane. Obviously, I've chosen them for their name (except for the first one).

Here we are with our fourth post about thriller.

Io ho scelto una serie TV, How To Get Away With Murder, e mi sono ispirata alle loro locandine nere con gli schizzi di sangue sopra.
Ed ecco la base, il bellissimo e - da me - desideratissimo ILNP Missed Calls, olografico nero uscito nell'estate del 2015.

I've chosen a TV series, How To Get Away With Murder, and got my inspiration thanks to the black posters with blood splatters on them.
And here it is the base colour the beautiful and so-long-desired - from me, at least - ILNP Missed Calls, a black holographic nail polish from the 2015 Summer Ultra Holo Collection.

2 passate facili facili per un'effetto da far cadere la mascella con più o meno qualsiasi tipologia di luce, grazie al finish ULTRA Holo.
In più, ho provato ad aggiungerci dell'effetto splatter grazie al fratellino ILNP Stopping Traffic... il risultato non mi convince, ma eccolo di seguito!

2 easy coats for a jaw-dropping effect with any lights condition thanks to its ULTRA holo finish.
I've tried to add a splatter effect on it thanks to ILNP Stopping Traffic... I'm not sure about the result, but here it is!

[B&F-F/W16-17] Science Fiction: Pacific Rim - GLAM POLISH Gonna Have It Make It Stop!

Si rientra in gioco con la nostra challenge autunno/invernale!
Oggi parliamo di fantascienza. Come da titolo, la mia scelta è caduta su Pacific Rim. Come mai l'ho scelto? Senza nessun reale motivo, sinceramente, se non per il fatto che è uno dei film preferiti di mio fratello.

Today I'm back in the game with our fall/winter challenge!
Today we talk about science fiction. As the title says itself, I've chosen Pacific Rim.
The reason why is because it's one of my brother's favourite movies.

Ed ecco il bellissimo soggetto, il Glam Polish Gonna Have It Make It Stop! dalla collezione Queen of Mean di quest'anno.
No, questa volta non ho scelto di fare nessun tipo di disegno dedicato (anche se ero tentata dal creare il reattore fra anulare e medio), mi sono semplicemente affidata al colore (o, meglio, ai colori) di questa bellezza.
La base è un argento quasi azzurro con glitter di vari colori: turchese, blu, viola, rosso, magenta il tutto condito da un finish olografico.
Il collegamento mentale è tutto per Gipsy Danger: il colore, l'acqua, il reattore. Insomma, questo smalto mi ricorda lo Jaeger protagonista.

And here it is the beautiful Glam Polish Gonna Have It Make It Stop! from the 2016 Queen Of Mean collection.
Nope, I didn't do any kind of nail art but I've just chosen this beauty's colour (or, better, colours).
The base is a blueish silver with multicoloured glitters: aqua, blue, violet, red, magenta all wrapped up in a holographic finish.
My mental link is Gipsy Danger: the colour, the water, the reactor. Basically, this nail polish reminds me of the Jaeger.

Nonostante sia tutto glitteroso, bastano tre mani (o due più cicciotte) perché questo smalto sia opaco.
Ovviamente, il segreto è usare una base peel-off!
Beh, fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate e qual è il vostro film (o libro) di fantascienza preferito e ricordatevi di visitare anche le mie colleghe di boccetta qui sotto, io son proprio curiosa di vedere cos'hanno scelto per quest'appuntamento!

Despite it's a glitter nail polish, three coats are enough (o two heavier coats).
Obviously, you will need a peel-off base!

[B&F-F/W16-17] Horror: Nightmare Before Christmas - ILNP Atomic Sherbet

E rieccoci col secondo appuntamento per la Books&Films Fall/Winter 2016-17 Challenge.
Il tema di oggi è l'Horror... tema a me non propriamente caro.
No, l'horror mi piace ancora meno dei polpettoni romantici.
Per cui a questo tema ho collegato una pellicola non prettamente horror ma stracolma di morti, vampiri, streghe e compagnia bella. Mi riferisco a Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, una dei miei film preferiti sempre, ne conosco a memoria tutto il testo in italiano fin da piccola e quello in inglese l'ho imparato almeno un decennio fa, grazie alla proiezione in loop del dvd.
E' l'unico film di cui abbia acquistato ogni formato: VHR, DVD (non una ma due copie!) e BluRay 3D.
Ma ora basta cianciare, andiamo al protagonista di questo post.

Here we are again with the second Books&Films Fall/Winter 2016-17 Challenge post.
Today's genre is Horror... which I really don't like.
I dislike this genre even more than Romance.
So I link to this theme a not-really-horror movie... still, it has tons of dead characters, vampires, witches and so on. I'm talking about Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my favorite movies ever. I love it so much that I know all the words in it by heart, both in the Italian and in the original versions.
It's the only film of which I have all the format: VHR, (two) DVD(s) and BluRay 3D.
Enough chitchat, let's talk about the subject of the post.

Il nesso? Beh, questo è un arancione zucca. Jack è il re delle zucche. Collegamento perfetto, no?

Yep, this is ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) Atomic Sherbet, an orange holographic nail polish from the 2014 Fall collection.
What's the link from the movie to the lacquer? Well, AS is obviously a pumpkin kind of orange. Jack is "the pumpkin king". Perfect link, isn't it?

Dicevamo... Re delle zucche! Quindi... nail art dedicata alle zucche di Halloween!!!

[B&F-F/W16-17] Romance: Chocolat - ILNP Chocolate Slate

Novità in casa IMBC, udite udite: io e le mie amicicie di boccetta siamo qui riunite in questo weekend di ottobre per piazzarci ai blocchi di partenza per un nuovo appuntamento a tema.
Ogni due settimane fino alla fine dell'inverno troverete le nostre pubblicazioni sui questi schermi.
Il soggetto? Film e libri! Ma anche i telefilm sono stati permessi (grazie, ragazze!), per rendermi la "challenge" meno tale in senso stretto. Ecco il vessillo dietro il quale incominciamo a marciare verso la prossima primavera:

I have to be honest and say that this genre is definitely not "me".
BUT I had an intuition. I've thought about a 2000 movie, Chocolat. Do you know it? Yes? Good. Nope? If you click on the title you will find its wikipedia page with all the movie details.
So, I was talking about an intuition. We're talking about chocolate, so... what better pick than mine?

ILNP Chocolate Slate è uno smalto color cioccolata (eheheh...) dell'ultima collezione del suddetto brand indie per questo autunno. Finish olografico da perdercisi (e se lo dico io che ODIO il marrone...!).

ILNP Chocolate Slate is a chocolate (lol) brown holographic nail polish from the latest Fall 2016 collection. It's so pretty you could get lost staring at it (and I said that also if I really DISLIKE brown shades...!).

Third 2016 Term Haul

Torno per condividere il bottino dei tre mesi appena passati.

I'm back sharing my latest term haul.

Visto? Son stata quasi brava... non ho portato a casa tante cose :D

See? I've been a good girl... I didn't take home too many things :D

Uno dei miei profumi preferiti, La Chasse Aux Papillons de L'Artisan Parfumeur, mi è stato regalato (grazie al cielo, ha un costo un po' impegnativo!).
Poi ho riacquistato tre dei prodotti Urban Decay di cui non posso fare a meno: il mascara Perversion, la base Primer Potion e l'eyeliner waterproof 24/7. Inoltre ho acquistato un paio di matite Pupa all'outlet, una rosa dimenticata in macchina e quella in foto argentata, numero 552.
Finalmente anche in casa IMBC (sì, ilmiobeautycase, ovviamente!) è approdata la base Ready For Takeoff della Unt (ÜNT, per essere precisi), assieme a una coppia di smalti, LV010 Ballet Tutu e SY090 Long Way Home.

One of my favourite perfumes ever, L'Artisan Parfumeur La  Chasse Aux Papillons was given to me as a gift (thank goodness, that's pricey!).
I've bought some Urban Decay goodies too, Perversion mascara, Primer Potion and waterproof eyeliner 24/7. Plus, I've bought a couple of eye pencils in a Pupa outlet but I've forgotten one of them in my car and this one is number 522, a silver eye pencil.
Finally, ÜNT Ready To Takeoff base arrived at IMBC headquarter - LOL -with a couple of lacquers (LV 010 Ballet Tutu and SY090 Long Way Home).

Sto parlando del Take A Trek, uno smalto olografico di un blu fa-vo-lo-so.

Actually, this is the second-to-last nail polish before the finish line.
I'm talking about Take A Trek, which is a fa-bu-lous blue holographic nail lacquer.

2 passate, come la maggior parte dei suoi fratelli.
Potere olografico molto buono - approvato!
