Sì, perché siamo arrivati al sesto (di otto) smalto profumato della Revlon: il Colada Fizz.

We are in the second half of the Revlon scented nail polishes with this Colada Fizz one.

Tre mani non sono sufficienti a coprire decentemente l’unghia: è praticamente uno smalto trasparente e ha un delizioso odore di cocco.

I think that it will never be opaque.
Its light blue base is a sort of clear one and it has a super yummy coconut scent!

Come per tutti gli altri smalti profumati della Revlon, ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Questo potrebbe essere lo smalto adatto alle persone che non amano utilizzare smalti molto vistosi.

One coat on the little finger, two coats on the index finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers.
I think that this polish could be appreciated by people who don’t like too colourful polishes.

I colori di base sono:

• Indice: Layla 106 (nero)
• Medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• Anulare: Layla 108 (azzurro)
• Mignolo: Kiko 294 Blu Indaco (blu)

Risulta molto carino sopra l’azzurro ma devo dire che anche qui preferisco la base nera.


The polishes used as bases are:

• Index finger: Layla 106 (black)
• Middle finger: Kiko 101 White French (white)
• Ring finger: Layla 108 (light blue)
• Little finger: Kiko 294 Blu Indaco (medium blue)

It’s super nice on the light blue base but IMHO, the black one is still the best choice!

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Apple-tini Fizz

Here’s the fourth of my Revlon scented polishes serie and its name is Apple-tini Fizz.
It’s an apple-scented green nail polish.

Copre abbastanza in tre mani ma non in maniera egregia.
Ecco, della serie, forse questo è l’unico che non mi piace per nulla da dentro la boccetta e nemmeno tantissimo una volta steso:

It is see-through also with 3 coats but it’s wearable anyway.
IMHO, it’s the only one that I do not like too much when is both in the bottle or on my nails:

Come per tutti gli altri smalti profumati della Revlon, ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Tuttavia, una volta steso su basi colorate, devo dire che mi piace molto di più:

One coat on the little finger, two coats on the index finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers.
Here’s what it’s like on coloured polishes (and I do like very much what it’s like on them):

I colori di base sono:

• Indice: Lalya 106 (nero)
• Medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• Anulare: Sephora Jungle Playground (verde chiaro)
• Mignolo: Sephora Military Jacket (verde scuro… molto scuro)

Sul nero, i flakie/flake diventano color smeraldo, un effetto che mi è piaciuto davvero molto.
Ma devo ammetterlo, sopra il verde scuro l’ho totalmente adorato!
Se li avete entrambi (o comunque avete colori simili), provate! :)


The polishes used as bases are:

• Index finger: Layla 106 (black)
• Middle finger: Kiko 101 White French (white)
• Ring finger: Sephora Jungle Playground (light green)
• Little finger: Sephora Military Jacket (pretty dark green)

On the black base, the flakie effect just glows! The colour became a sort of emerald green – gorgeous!
But I have to say that I just LOVE this polish as a layering polish on the dark green one!
If you have both the Revlon and the Sephora one (or similar to them), try it on! :)

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Watermelon Fizz

Oggi è il turno del terzo smalto profumato della Revlon, il Watermelon Fizz.

Today here I have another Revlon’s scented nail polish – Watermelon Fizz.

Questo smalto ha un punto di rosso davvero stupendo al profumo di anguria!
Usando una o due mani, si nota ancora la linea dell’unghia, ma con tre, ha una copertura molto buona, utilizzabile anche senza base.

This is a wonderful red, with a watermelon scent!
With three coats it is not see-through anymore, also without using it is a layering polish.

Come per tutti gli altri smalti profumati della Revlon, ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Ma eccolo su basi colorate:

One coat on the little finger, two coats on the index finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers.
Here’s what it’s like on other polishes:

I colori di base sono:

• Indice: Layla 106 (nero)
• Medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• Anulare: Revlon Revlon Red 680 (rosso)
• Mignolo: Revlon Vixen 570 (bordeaux)

Anche se con gli altri smalti la mia base preferita era quella nera, devo dire che questo diventa incredibile con una base rossa, secondo me.
Ma forse mi piace ancora di più usato da solo.

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Orange Fizz

Oggi è il turno del secondo smalto profumato della Revlon, l’Orange Fizz.
Come si intuisce dal nome, sia il colore che l’odore ricordano tantissimo le arance.

Today I’m going to show you the second Revlon’s scented nail polish: Orange Fizz.
Obviously, both the scent and the colour recall oranges.

Nonostante l’arancione sia un colore adatto a svariati periodi dell’anno (estate, halloween ecc…) devo ammettere che non l’ho mai utilizzato tantissimo.
Non lo so, almeno che io non stia indossando qualcosa che si stia, non mi piace moltissimo su di me.
Immagino che non lo utilizzerò moltissimo, eccezion fatta per layering o sotto forma di flakie/flake (che dir si voglia), utilizzando quei top coat (ve ne devo ancora mostrare unooo ;) ) arancioni.
Ecco come si presenta sulle unghiette (al solito, una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre su medio e anulare):

You could use this colour for many months (summer, halloween etc…) but I have to say that I do not wear it so much, unless I’m wearing something orange (shoes, bags etc).
I believe that I won’t use it so much, except for layering (or flake-flakies!) ;)
Here is what it’s like on my nails (one coat on the little finger, two coats on the index and three on the middle and on the ring fingers):

Se viene utilizzato per layering, accende un sacco gli smalti arancioni, fa la sua porca figura!

I have to say, using it as a layering polish, it’s amazing!

Gli smalti utilizzati da base sono:

• anulare: Kiko 280 Arancione (arancione)
• mignolo: O•P•I He’s My Boo (zucca)

Anche in questo caso, mi piace davvero un sacco sopra la base nera e l’arancione già carico di suo viene illuminato all’ennesima potenza!

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Pineapple Fizz

Rieccomi qui dopo una breve “vacanza”.

Quest’estate, la Revlon ha fatto uscire una nuova collezione di smalti profumati, composta da 8 tonalità/odori.
Avendoli trovati in offerta, ho deciso di provarne uno… il che è stato tragico perché, alla fine, ho deciso di acquistarli tutti.
Per cui, eccomi qui, al mio primo “appuntamento fisso”: per una settimana, ve li mostrerò uno al giorno (più una piccola considerazione finale).
Inizialmente, volevo presentarveli in ordine alfabetico, ma il tutto era un po’ incasinato cromaticamente (verde, azzurro, viola…).
Così ho optato per scegliere l’ordine scandito da questa immagine:

This summer, Revlon has made availabe (also) in Italy a new range of 8 scented nail polishes.
There was a special offer, so I tried one… and then the other seven!
So, here we are.
For the next seven days, you will se the whole collection, one for each day (today you’ll see the firsto one).
I was thinking on presenting them in alfabetical order, but it was just too messy (green, light blue, purple…).
So, I’ve decided to present them in this order:

L-R:

• Pineapple Fizz (lo trovato in questo medesimo post / in this actual post)
• Orange Fizz
• Watermelon Fizz
• Apple-tini Fizz
• Colada Fizz
• Mint Fizz
• Grape Fizz
• Grapefruit Fizz

Ogni smalto ha una profumazione differente, individuabile dal nome dato allo smalto, quello che vi presento oggi, il giallo, chiamato Pineapple Fizz ha odore di ananas, chiaramente.
Ma eccolo steso, senza base né top coat:

And today is “Pineapple Fizz” ’s turn!
Here is what is like on the nail, with no base nor top coat:

Una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Chiaramente, questi sono smalti da layering, per questo ragione, in ogni post, troverete un’immagine con, come base, altri smalti.
Troverete sempre il nero (indice) e il bianco (medio) più due colori simili allo smalto profumato.
In questo caso, l’immagine è la seguente:

One coat on the little finger, two coats in the index finger and three both on the middle and the ring fingers.
Clearly, they are layering nail polishes, so you’re going to find a picture in which they are used for layering in each post.
You’ll always find a black polish (on the index finger) and a white one (on the middle finger) and two ton sur ton colours.
Here’s the Pineapple Fizz one:

Devo dire che la base nera mi è piaciuta davvero molto con ogni smalto perché fa sì che i “flake” in ogni smalto risaltino un sacco, quasi fossero degli smalti a base trasparente.
In questo caso, mi è piaciuta tantissimo la base dorata, anche se fa molto Natale.

I have to say, I love the black base!
The scented polish seems to be a clear base with coloured “flakies”.
Amazing!
I love the gold base too, also if it looks a bit “Yuletide”-ish (and we’re in August!).

Last Sunday, we went at an amateurish dog show, just to try something different.
When the judges gave us their verdict, I was staggered: EXCELLENCE.

Today I want to show you my very first Shaka, which name is Tinting Denim.

E’ un grigio molto scuro con una punta di blu e una miriade di glitterini.

Ho acquistato questa cavia sotto consiglio di QueenMiSeRy e di Aly di maisenzasmalto! che mi hanno parlato bene di questo brand italiano [QUI trovate il post di Aly dedicato a questo smalto].

It is a dark grey with some blue in it and with many glitters.

Because this brand was recommended to me by QueenMiSeRy and Aly from maisenzasmalto!, I’ve bought this one to act as a guinea pig [HERE you can find Aly’s post about this nail polish].

Ovviamente, il protagonista è sul medio e sull’anulare (2 mani belle cicciose).

Sull’indice e sul medio, invece, vi sono, rispettivamente:

• I don’t give a Rotterdam!

• I have a herring problem

Entrambi O•P•I che vi ho presentato in coppia QUI.

Potrebbe tranquillamente essere il terzo fratello, quello “piccolo e nero” XD

Scherzi a parte, devo dire che mi è piaciuto parecchio (mannaggia a loro e ai loro prezzi ai quali non si può dire di no!) ^-^

Concorrenza per essence? ;)

Tinting Denim is on the middle and on the ring fingers (2 thick coats).

On the others there are:
• I don’t give a Rotterdam! (index finger)

• I have a herring problem (little finger)

Both from O•P•I (I reviewed them HERE – italian only, sorry!)

Tinting Denim could be a darker brother to them and I like it a lot (and it was so cheap that I couldn’t avoid to buy it!).

Out of the three, is the less see-through.

E’ un blu davvero stupendo! Forse, un pochino scuro per questo periodo estivo…

This blue is just stunning! Maybe it is a little too dark for these summer months, yep, but I love it anyway!

Piace? A me, molto :D

Do you like it?

Sì, questa è decisamente sfocata (tranne per il mignolo) ma permette di apprezzare appieno questo favoloso colore ^-^
Anche questo, come i suoi fratelli che vi ho presentato QUI e QUI, ha il terribile difetto del pennelino minuscolo. Che peccato!

Yeah, this last pic is blurred (except for the little finger) but you can appreciate this wonderful colour :D This nail polish has just one con: its brush is just rubbish! What a pity :C

The 44 Graffiti is the first one that I bought, on april.

Questo mini smalto è stato il primo in ordine cronologico.
Devo dire che nella boccetta continua a piacermi molto… una volta sulle mani, mi piace un po’ di meno…
Motivo? Lo stesso del suo fratello nel post precedente: decisamente poco coprente.

I have to say, when I wear it… I don’t know… I like it a bit less than when it’s in the bottle.
Why? As the 45 Fantasy Fire, it is see-through with less than 3 coats.

Sull’indice ho steso una mano, sul medio due e sulle altre tre. Curiose di vederlo all’ombra?

On the index finger, there is 1 coat, on the middle finger there are 2 coats and on the ring and the little fingers there are 3 coats. Here’s how it looks like when is in the shadow:

Ok, trovo che sia un bel colore… davvero… ma quanto odio dover stendere mille mila strati?
Mmm, no, temo che questo bel piccino rimarrà in un cassetto per un po’ di tempo… ^w^
Magari potrei usarlo verso Natale :D

Max Factor Max Effect Mini Nail Polish n.45 - Fantasy Fire

Oggi ho deciso di portare alcuni cambiamenti al mio piccolo spazio virtuale.
Beh, diciamo pure un bel po’ di cambiamenti.
Ho deciso di cambiare la homepage, ho cambiato l’immagine di sfondo e quella del titolo, ho aggiunto i link ai post che potrebbero interessare e ho aggiunto la lingua inglese.

Right, here we go with my first post about three max factor nail polishes (the other two will be posted between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow) ^-^

Ho deciso di mostrarveli in ordine casuale, per cui ecco il 45 Fantasy Fire:
I’ve decided to post them randomly, so here it is the 45 Fantasy Fire:

Ok, avevo grandi aspettative per questo smalto e ne sono rimasta un pochino delusa. Non so quante manicure si possano fare con una boccetta di smalto normale da 5mL, diciamo 50. Con questo ne basterebbe a fare FORSE 25. Per una copertura decente bisogna utilizzare 3 mani abbondanti o 4 normali.
Difficile da crederci? Permettetemi di mostrarvi le immagini.

Ok, I was a bit disappointed by this little nail polish. IDK how many manicures you can do with a 5mL bottle nail polish, let’s say 50. With this one, MAYBE 25. You need to use at least 3 thick coats (with 4 medium coats, the nail polish is still see-through!).
Hard to believe it? Watch the pictures below.

Sì, tre mani potrebbero andare, specialmente se viste sotto la luce del sole diffusa, così:

But... in the shadow?

Ouch, mi sa che non sia il massimo, con le unghie lunghe.
Ora che ho le unghie appena tagliate e sto indossando questo smalto, devo dire che fa la sua porca figura!
Mi sa che sia da utilizzare con una base che copri decentemente.
Proviamo? Proviamo.
Nel mio caso ho utilizzato uno strato di bianco che copriva benone in una sola passata ma immagino che anche utilizzando un viola con un buon potere coprente vada bene, se non meglio!

Ouch, that’s not the best-looking polish on long nails, isn’t it? 
Now, I’ve just cut my nails and I’m wearing this nail polish. On short nails it’s amazing! 
If you want a non see-through nail polish, you have to wear a coat of another nail polish.
Want to try it? Let’s try it!
I used a coat of a great white nail polish but I think that with a purple one it could be the best solution!

Ultima cosa: oltre al fatto della bassa copertura, ha un altro difetto. Sì, ha un minuscolo pennellino orrendo, di cui vi parlerò più avanti.

One other thing: this nail polish has another cons – the brush. It’s rubbish. And this made me think about creating a post about brushes from nail polish bottle. It will be posted in the next days.
