In quanto giovedì, quest’oggi è giornata di ABC Challenge ^w^
La lettera del giorno è la P e io ho in serbo per voi un duochrome direttamente da oltreoceano!
Sì, si tratta di Port-Folio, della collezione In True Fashion di quest’autunno 2012 ^w^
Ho anche un suo fratello ma ve lo mostrerò non appena avrò una giornata di tranquillità in cui il sole sarà presente decentemente ^_^

Today is Thursday so here’s my ABC Challenge post ^w^
The letter of the day is the P so here’s my choice: Color Club Port-folio, from the In true fashion collection, the autumn 2012 Color Club’s collection ^w^
I’ve bought also another one from this collection and I will post about it as soon as I can (I need a sunny, relaxing day) ^_^

Questa è la comparazione della stessa boccetta colpita dal sole e all’ombra!
Come potete vedere, è un duochrome viola con riflessi verdi/teal.
Per compensare il post inerente alla O (solo una foto e poche righe di testo), eccovi millemila immagini ^w^

Pupa Lasting Color Nail Polish 731 – Pearly Jade (China Doll Collection / Fall 2012)

Oggi ho in serbo per voi un piccolo gioiello…
Come potete intendere dal titolo del post, fa parte della collezione attualmente in vendita di Pupa.
Personalmente, credo che, con questa collezione, Pupa abbia fatto davvero un ottimo lavoro.
Sono presenti colori davvero stupendi e degli smalti incredibilmente belli.
Momentaneamente, mi sono fermata dall’acquisto impulsivo e ho portato a casa solo il protagonista di questo post, il 731 Pearly Jade.

Today I have a precious nail polish for you!
It is from Pupa Milano and is on sale since a month.
IMHO, I think that Pupa did a great job with this collection (which has also eyeshadows, lipsticks and a blush too, but I will speak about the nail polishes only).
For now, I own just the subject of this post which is the 731 Pearly Jade.

Sono estremamente tentata anche dal blu e dal viola!
E mi tentano anche gli altri tre, a essere totalmente sincera, ma, per una volta, ho resistito… magari a breve porterò a casa anche qualche fratello, chissà!
Ma passiamo al già citato Pearly Jade:

I am extremely tempted by the blue and the violet one!
And the other three are tempting me, too… but I can try to resist… Maybe just one sibling, or two… in the future XD
But let’s talk about the Pearly Jade:

E’ un bellissimo color pavone perlato che, appena era uscita la collezione, mi sono immediatamente accaparrata!

Givenchy Vernis Please! 180 Acoustic Purple (Nail Polish)

Salve, gente!
Oggi vi mostro uno degli acquisti che mi abbia maggiormente lasciata perplessa!
Si tratta di uno smalto in “super edizione limitata” (nella profumeria in cui bazzico di solito, ne avevano 3 e li hanno esauriti nel giro di 10 giorni), chiamato Acoustic Purple e facente parte della nuova collezione autunno-invernale del 2012.
Mettiamola così, io ho fatto le foto, ma è uno smalto praticamente infotografabile ^w^”

Today I’m going to show you a limited edition nail polish: Acoustic Purple from the fall-winter 2012 collection from Givenchy.
Yeah, I’ve taken the picture but I have to say that is almost impossible to photograph ^w^”

In quest’immagine metto subito uno degli aspetti negativi (secondo me) degli smalti Givenchy: l’applicatore.
La boccetta è un parallelepipedo e il tappo calca la stessa forma, diventando abbastanza fastidioso da maneggiare, sempre secondo la mia personalissima opinione.
Il secondo aspetto negativo?

This picture shows one of the cons of these Givenchy polishes: the handle is a parallelepiped and it’s a bit tricky, IMHO.
The second con?

Vedete quei glitterini fuschia? Si vedono poco o nulla, una volta steso lo smalto sui nostri piccoli artigli.
Non fatevi ingannare dalla foto, sembra a base blu, in realtà è molto più tendente al viola e ha tanti più brillantini, nella boccetta.
Eccolo, una volta steso, sotto luce artificiale:

Can you so see that fuschia glitters? They remains in the bottle.
Better, they won’t reflect the light so they are almost invisible, after applying the polish on the nails.
Don’t be fooled by the pic, it’s not a blue-based polish, it’s way more purple and with a lot more glitters, in the bottle.
Here’s what’s like under the light:

Ok, in sua difesa devo dire che sotto la luce del sole risulta molto più carino, sempre secondo me:

Right, I have to say that under the sunlight it’s much nicer:

Ultimo difetto?
Il prezzo.
Assolutamente fuori da ogni parametro umano.
Ve lo dico?
No, vi faccio soffrire ancora un momento.
Prima vi dico la quantità contenuta nella boccetta: 5,5mL (0.18 FL.OZ).
Va bene, ora tocca al prezzo.
Nella mia profumeria, indicativamente, le cose costano sempre 1-2€ di meno (tenetene conto)!
Questo smalto l’ho pagato 15€!
Avete letto bene, 15€ per soli 5,5mL.
No comment.
In sua difesa vi posso dire che tutte le unghiette hanno due passate ad eccezione dell’anulare, sul quale ne ho fatta solo una e potete notare che, effettivamente, una passata è sufficiente.
Il tempo di asciugatura è veramente rapidissimo e ha una buona durata.
Altra pecca, secondo me, è il fatto che sia un pochino troppo denso, secondo i miei gusti…

Ahahah, ma quanto sono acida, oggi???

Ok, now the price.
The beauty shop from which I’ve bought this polish has lower prices, normally 1-2€ less than the other shops.
I’ve paid 15€
! Yep, 15€ for 5,5mL.
No comment.
I have to say that one coat is enough (if you take a look at the pics, the ring finger has one coat and on the other nails there are two coats), it dries quickly and has a good lasting. IMHO, it has another last con: it’s a bit thick.

Preview: China Glaze & O•P•I autumn 2012

In molti stanno parlando della nuova collezione "On Safari" di China Glaze e di quella dedicata ad "Amazing Spiderman" di O•P•I.

Benissimo, io, invece, vi mostro le preview delle collezioni per quest'autunno.
Quella China Glaze si chiamerà "Bohemian Collection"(con "Luster Chrome" come sottotitolo)e presenterà 6 tonalità:

Devo dire che gli ultimi due in immagine mi ispirano un sacco *-*

Per quanto riguarda O•P•I, ci aspetta una Germany Collection, comprendente, come spesso fanno, un sacco di colori, ben 12!
Ovvero:

In questa, invece, mi ispirano un sacco quello Oktoberfest, il German-icure e-assolutamente!!!-l' Unfor-greta-bly Blue.
