La bravissima Francine ha proposto due post gemelli decisamente interessanti e che capitano a fagiUolo.
Il primo è questo, dedicato al mese per la prevenzione del tumore al seno (ottobre, appunto) mentre il secondo, piuttosto intuibile, lo scoprirete più avanti.
Sono davvero contenta di esser stata contattata per questo post e il caso vuole che mi fossi già mobilitata, nel mio piccolo.

Dear Francine was kind to ask me to post, together with the other lovely nail polish gals, to take part of a couple of twinsie posts for this special month. 
The first one is about brest cancer awareness and you might know that October is breast cancer awareness month. The second post will be on these screens in the future but you easily understand what that will be about. 
I’m really glad to be part of this also because I’ve already prepared this post because I wished to post something about, this October.

Come avete intuito dalle immagini sovrastanti, ecco il set di O·P·I dedicato alla prevenzione del tumore al seno Pink Of Hearts per lo scorso anno.
Il set contiene due smalti (e, sì, la scatola è inutilmente immensa) con il tappo particolarmente decorato per l’eccezione con i fiocchi rosa, simbolo della prevenzione del tumore al seno.
Gli smalti sono I Think In Pink, un rosa creme e You Glitter Be Good To Me, composto da glitter esagonali fuschia e mini glitter rosa antico (sì, credo che, nella confezione, fossero originariamente inseriti al contrario).

As you can see in the photos, I’m going to show you O·P·I’s Pink Of Hearts 2012 set. 
This set includes two nail polishes (yup, the box is just too big for just two bottles but that was it) with the cap decorated with pink ribbons, icons of the breast cancer awareness. 
The lacquers are I Think In Pink, which is a pink creme, and You Glitter Be Good To Me, exagonal fuschia glitters and pink mini glitters in a clear base (yup, I think I swap their positions in the box).

Ho deciso di applicare i glitter solo sulle punte in un’unica passata e, a mo’ di accent, due passate a unghia piena sull’anulare.

I’ve chosen to apply the glitters on the tips in one coat and, on the ring finger nail, like an accent, two coats over the whole nail.

Essence nail colour3 02 - Shopping Trip In Soho

Per quanto riguarda l'ultimo, come già anticipato, "barerò" ^_~
Ma veniamo a noi:

La coppia numero 02 è formata dalla base che, al solito, da' il nome al set, Shopping Trip In Soho e dal topper Party All Night Long.
La base e un ciclamino shimmer, molto "Barbie", il topper è, invece, una base semi trasparente fuschia con immersi un sacco di flakies dello stesso colore ^^

Set number 02 is made with a base colour, which gives the name to the set, Shopping Trip in Soho, a cyclamen shimmer colour, and with a topper, Party All Night Long, a see-through fuschia base with fuschia flakies ^^

Tutte le immagini seguono il seguente schema:
• medio: 2 mani di Shopping Trip In Soho;
• anulare: 2 mani di Shopping Trip In Soho + 1 mano di Party All Night Long;
• mignolo: 1 mano di Party All Night Long.

Essence nail colour3 03 - Kiss On Top Of The Rock

In questo mio periodo di sparizione ho avuto millemila cose da fare :(
Ma sono tornata! ^u^
E, dopo avervi mostrato i colour3 numero 06, 05 e 04, ovviamente, oggi, è il turno del 03! :D

In this week I had so many things to do :(
But I'm back! ^u^
And, after my essence colour3 posts (numbers 06, 05 and 04), today I am going to show you the number 03! :D

La base, che da il nome al set, si chiama Kiss On Top Of The Rock, un creme rosso, uno di quei colori dei quali mi viene il pallino ogni tot durante l'anno ^^
Il topper, Dancing In The Streets, è un arancione trasparente con shimmer rosa-arancione-rosso, in base al colore sul quale viene steso. Mi ricorda parecchio il Revlon Orange Fizz, se non fosse che quest'ultimo è più chiaro.
Ecco le immagini! :D

The base colour, which name it's the same as the set's, is called Kiss On Top Of The Rock, a red creme, that kind of colour which I really want to wear on some particular periods of my year ^^
The topper, Dancing In The Streets, is a orange-see-through nail polish with a pink-orange-red shimmer, which shifts depending on the base colour. It reminds me a lot my Revlon Orange Fizz. Orange Fizz is a bit lighter, tho.

Essence nail colour3 05 - Boys Are Back In Town

Come premesso, ecco il secondo colour3, il numero 05 (sì, sto partendo dal fondo :D).

Here's the second essence colour3, the number 05 (yes, I started from the bottom :D).

Questo set è composto dalla base, Boys Are Back In Town (che da il nome al set), e dal suo relativo topper, It's Just A Little Crush (di cui adoro il nome).
Poche parole, vi lascio alle foto, premettendo che:
• medio: 2 mani di Boys Are Back In Town
• anulare: 2 mani di Boys Are Back In Town + 1 mano di It's Just A Little Crush
• mignolo: 1 mano di It's Just A Little Crush

This set has a colour base, Boys Are Back In Town, which gives the name to the set, and its topper, It's Just A Little Crush (and I love its name!).

Essence nail colour3 06 - Ticket To The Show

Sono veramente in ritardo sulla mia tabella di marcia ideale.
Avete presente i saldi essence?
Mi ero imposta di mostrarvi ciò che esce dalla linea permanente il prima possibile e, dagli acquisti, sono riuscita a mostrarvene solo uno, il colour&go I Love Bad Boys.
Ma eccomi qui con un 3in1che presto non vedrete più: il nail colour3 06 - Ticket To The Show.

You might know that essence has special prices, right now, on nail polishes which are not part of the permanent line anymore, just like the Colour&Go I Love Bad Boys.
So I wished to post all the things I bought since the special price offer was available... And here's the second post!
This is a 3-in-1 nail polish that you won't see anymore, soon: nail colour3 06 - Ticket To The Show.

Come vedete, sono due smalti in un'unica confezione (4mL l'uno), in questo momento in offerta a 1,19€.
Lo smalto di base, che da anche nome al set, è il Ticket To The Show, un nero con shimmer verdi-viola, che ricorda il Catrice I Wear My Sunglasses At Night, solo con uno shimmer meno evidente.
Il topper è Front Row Or Backstage?, un marroncino dorato.
Personalmente, soprattutto la base, mi piace molto questo set (e, ammetto, anche gli altri!).
Vi lascio alle foto (purtroppo manca ancora il sole diretto, c'è solo un po' di luce :C)!
Se riesco, cerco di postarvi un altro set di questa linea, prima che li esauriscano ovunque, entro stasera ^^

As you can see, it's a nail polish duo (4mL/ea.), now with the special offer price of 1,19€.
The base colour, the nail polishes which gives the name to the set, is Ticket To The Show, a black nail polish with green/purple shimmer, which reminds I Wear My Sunglasses At Night by Catrice (discontinued), just less shimmery.

Preview: Pupa Bubbles & Degrade Manicure Sets

Oggi è giornata di preview: ve ne mostrerò alcune ^^
Iniziando da Pupa, a breve dovremmo trovare nelle nostre profumerie preferite (e sappiamo che praticamente tutte vendono il marchio Pupa) i set, in sei diverse combinazioni di colori, per ricreare la (ormai "datata") Caviar Manicure.
Pupa l'ha rinominata "Bubbles" ma immagino che tutti la conosciate come Caviar.
Ok, i set che ci propone Pupa hanno all'interno una boccetta di smalto e una boccetta di perline di vetro,  di sei colori differenti: nero su nero, viola su viola, blu su blu, sferette multicolori su un rosa barbie, grigio su grigio e bianco su bianco:

Today I will show you some previews ^^
And I start with Pupa, which is going to sell in our (Italian) shops six sets to recreate the famous (and "old") Caviar Manicure.
Pupa renamed this as "bubbles manicure" although I believe you know it as Caviar.
Well, there are six sets with a nail polish and a bottle of spheres in each one.
The choices are: black on black, violet on violet, blue on blue, multicolour spheres on a barbie pink nail polish, grey on grey and white on white:

L'altra proposta è una proposta di Ombre Manicure, che loro hanno rinominato come Degrade.
Anche qui sono sei set composti da due boccette, entrambe di smalto.
Praticamente, dopo aver steso lo smalto base, si stende il top coat "a strati":
Facciamo finta che vogliate avere il pollice più scuro e il mignolo più chiaro, dovrete stendere uno strato di degrade top coat sul mignolo, 2 sull'anulare, 3 sul medio, 4 sull'indice e 5 sul pollice.

The other sets are to recreate an Ombre Manicure, which is called Degrade from Pupa.
The sets have 2 nail polish bottles.
As an example, let's think we want to recreate an ombre manicure with a darker thumb and a lighter little finger:
After applying the base coloured nail polish, we use the top coat: 5 coats of degrade top coat on the thumb, 4 on the index, 3 on the middle, 2 on the ring and 1 over the little finger nails.

Che ne pensate?
Io devo ammettere di non essere esaltata - soprattutto dalla seconda proposta (preferisco 5 smalti differenti a 8 strati di smalto su un'unghia per un effetto del genere XD)!

Do you like them?
I'm not so convinced by these sets... maybe I'm less convinced by the second one: why using 8 coats of polish onto a nail instead of 2 from another colour?

Sephora Urban Forest Nail Trio (City Amazon, Jungle Playground, Military Jacket)

Oggi vi mostro un set da 3 smalti che ho trovato da Sephora.
Credo sia un tris di smalti che fosse in vendita ancora lo scorso autunno ma, a luglio, avendolo guardato e avendo successivamente pensato che tutti e tre questi colori mi mancavano, per 5€ ho deciso di acquistare queste boccette da 5mL(0.16FL.OZ.) l’una.

Today I’m going to show you a nail polish trio which I found at Sephora’s.
I think that this trio was already on sale during last autumn but I saw it on july and then I realized that I do not own these colours, then I buy this set of three 5mL (0.16FL.OZ.) nail polishes for 5€.

Da sinistra verso destra, queste boccettine hanno i seguenti nomi:
• L44 City Amazon (beige)
• 83 Jungle Playground (verde prato)
• L42 Military Jacket (verde scuro)

L-R, their names are:
• L44 City Amazon (taupe)
• 83 Jungle Playground (grass green)
• L42 Military Jacket (pretty dark green)

Il City Amazon è un colore abbastanza nudo (sarebbe nudo se avessi un colore di pelle più scuro).
Mi ha lasciata molto incuriosita il fatto che, con una sola passata, il colore risulta diverso che con due: guardate l’anulare e paragonatelo al mignolo!
Sul mignolo ho fatto una sola passata, su tutte le altre ne ho fatte due.
Sospetto!

City Amazon should be a naked colour (it is if you have a darker skin than me).
I became curious after seeing the difference from one to two coats.
You can see it just taking a glaze at the ring and at the little fingers!
On the little finger I did one coat and on all the other nails there are two coats.
Suspicious!

Generalmente, sulle unghie, non vado pazza per i verdi ma i due presenti in questo set mi piacciono molto, sono entrambi particolari.
Jungle Playground ha quest’effetto shimmer che lo rende prezioso!
Anche in questo caso ho steso due mani su tutte le unghie tranne che sul mignolo, sulla cui unghia ho steso una sola mano.

Normally, I do not love too much green nail polishes but these two are just gorgeous.
Jungle Playground is a precious shimmer!
Here you have two coats except for the middle finger nail, on which there is just one coat.

Ultimo ma non meno importante, il Military Jacket.
Questo mi piace ancora di più!
Ha un effetto che sembra un matt lucido, una cosa particolare…
E’ parecchio coprente già dalla prima passata (anche se dipende più dal fatto di come si stende lo smalto), basta guardare l’anulare, dove c’è una sola mano di smalto, contro le altre unghie, sulle quali ce ne sono due.
Quale vi piace di più?
Mai provato questi smalti Sephora?
Se sì, come vi siete trovati?

Last but not least, Military Jacket.
This is the one which I loved most!
It’s a super strange effect, a sort of matt creme, but it’s not matt.
It’s opaque with just one coat (but the result may vary depending on how you put the polish on), just look at the ring finger nail, where there is only one coat.
On the other nails there are two coats.
Which polish do you prefer?
