Sì, venerdì anche oggi, finalmente.
Per cui, un nuovo post della Battle of Planets...
Il pianeta protagonista di quest'oggi è il nostro satellite, la Luna, che ha ispirato in molti, dai poeti ai cantanti, agli scrittori, ai fumettisti ecc ecc.
Il colore a lei legato è l'argento e, io, cos'ho scelto?

Yup, finally it's Friday again.
This means a new Battle of Planets post.
Today's planet is our satellite, the Moon, which has inspired many people in the history from poets to composers, to writers, to artists generally.
The colour is silver so what have I chosen?

Pupa Chrome Nail Polish 015 Silver.
Generalmente, tutto ciò che è argento mi piace.
Lui è uno smalto cromato non particolarmente semplice.
Mi spiego meglio: il problema che ho riscontrato io non è legata alla qualità del liquido in se' ma al finish. Ok, si sa, chrome è sinonimo di segni delle pennellate ma, questo, è davvero un po' troppo soggetto a questo problema. Excalibur, di AEngland non soffre così tanto.
Però non è nulla di importabile, eh!
Anche perché, alla fine, i segni del pennello li noterete sempre e solo voi.
E soffrirete, sapendo quanto essi siano visibili, nella vostra mente.

I do love everything that's silver, generally.
It is a silver chrome not that simple to use.
Better: the problem I had was not about the polish itself but about the finish. Ok, we know that chrome means brushstrokes but this has just too many. AEngland Excalibur do not suffer as much as this one.
Watch out, it is not unwearable! Yup, because the brushstrokes will be seen just from yourselves. Always. And you will 'suffer' because you'll always know how much visible they are, just in your mind.

Ora, avevo molte opzioni fra le quali scegliere, le varie sigle di Sailor Moon, canzoni di Branduardi e via dicendo. Ma ho optato per lui. Uno dei due cantanti che mi tocca sempre l'anima. Sì, sono metallara, lo saprete ma lui è la mia eccezione, sempre. Ero anche iscritta al fan club, ahah!
Scusate la pessima qualità audio ma è l'unico filmato che ho trovato con i sottotitoli anche in inglese.

Now, I've had so many things to choose between, from Sailor Moon videos to Branduardi's songs and so on. But I've chosen him. The one out of two singers that always touch my soul. Yup, I am a metal head but he is my exception, always. I was in the fan club too, lol!

Pupa Cosmic Girl LE: Pigments Iridescent Silver & Blue + Iridescent Blue Nail Polish

Pupa se n'è appena uscita con una nuova collezione, la cosmic girl, con protagonista il finish duochrome.
Cos'ho portato a casa, io?

Pupa's just released its new collection, Cosmic Girl, with duochrome finish everywhere.
What have I bought?

Due pigmenti, 001 Iridescent Silver e 002 Iridescent Blue (ne esiste una terza versione, 003, quello verde) e uno smalto, il 002 Iridescent Blue, sì, ha lo stesso nome del pigmento.
Di smalti ce ne sono 4, due iridescenti e due "normali" (mi pare siano perlati, ma non mi hanno attirata più di tanto).
Partiamo con lo smalto, un blu che diventa viola e, occasionalmente, teal:

Two loose pigments, 001 Iridescent Silver and 002 Iridescent Blue (there is a third version, the green one) and a nail polish, the 002 Iridescent Blue, which has the same name as the pigment.
There are 4 nail polishes to choose but I've gone just for this one, this time.
And let's start with the nail polish, which is a blue duochrome that shifts from blue to purple and occasionally to teal:

E ora è il turno dei pigmenti.
Troverete tutto indicato in foto, comunque.
Il 001 lo trovo tanto bruttino nel suo vasetto da 4g quanto stupendo una volta steso.
Mi è piaciuto talmente tanto che ne ho preso un secondo vasetto di back up!
E' un argento-lavanda-rosa antico che diventa addirittura azzurro!
A sinistra rispetto alla confezione è al sole, a destra è in ombra.
"W/ PRIMER" indica la presenza del primer "W/O" l'assenza, "WET" indica la stesura con pennello inumidito e "DRY" con pennello asciutto.

And now, pigments.
You find everything in the photos.
The 001 is as ugly in the 4g jar as beautiful outside of it.
I love it so much that I've bought a second back up!
It's silver-lavander-ancient pink which shifts to light blue!
On the left of the jar, the swatch is under sunlight, on the right is in the shades.
Clearly "W/ PRIMER" stays for "with primer" and "W/O" is for "without primer".
I've also tried it with wet or dry brush.

Il 002, invece, va dal blu all'indaco al viola:

The number 002 shifts from blue to indigo and purple:

E guardate quanto sono pieni i vasettini!
Mi sono trovata bene con tutti i prodotti che vi ho appena mostrato, i pigmenti (su base) durano e, utilizzando un pennello inumidito, da la sensazione di un ombretto cremoso.
Per quanto riguarda lo smalto, è filato tutto liscio come l'olio ma non so se sia stata mia fortuna, visto che Alyx non ha avuto un'esperienza positiva (click!).
Voi avete ceduto a qualcosa?
Cosa ha attirato maggiormente la vostra attenzione, di questa collezione?

And look how full the jars are!
I'm really glad I've purchased these things, the pigments (over a primer) are great and when you use a wet brush they seem to be cream eyeshadows.
The lacquer is just perfect but I don't know if I was just lucky, because Alyx had some troubles with it (click!).
