ABC Challenge: F - Zoya FeiFei (ZP 636)

Questa è la mia prima apparizione nell’ABC Challenge ^w^
E ho deciso di parteciparvi con uno smalto magico: il mio smalto preferito.
E’ creato da Zoya, fa parte della collezione autunnale 2012 Diva e si chiama FeiFei.
Il sito Zoya italiano lo descrive come: “Ceruleo metallico copiosamete glitterato per un look affascinante ed attraente.”.

This is the first time I link a post with the ABC Challenge ^w^
I’ve decided to join it with a magical nail polish: my favourite one!
It’s a Zoya one, from the Diva (fall 2012) Collection, named FeiFei.
The Zoya’s official site describes it as: “A medium steel blue base with heavy gold, blue and pink iridescent metallic sparkle. A truly unique sparkling iridescent blue that adds a magical look to the nails.”.

E’ opaco sin dalla prima applicazione ma, secondo i miei gusti, gli smalti di questa casa danno il meglio di se’ in 2-3 passate.
Di seguito, sotto luce artificiale:

It’s opaque since the first coat but, IMHO, Zoyas are best in 2 or 3.
Here it is, under the light:

Potete notare (soprattutto sul medio e sull’anulare) l’effetto duochrome: sembra quasi che le unghie siano divise in diagonale da due smalti differenti, invece è sempre lui ^w^
Eccolo invece nella luce naturale:

Check the middle and the ring fingers out: the duochromatic effect seems to split the nails in halves as if it was two different polishes ^^

OFF TOPIC: bottoni in cernit & tazza Jack Skeletron / polymer clay buttons & Jack Skellington cup

La scorsa settimana sono stata con l’influenza praticamente tutto il tempo per cui… come passare il tempo?
Oltre ad andare all’università nel vano tentativo di passare qualche virus in giro (vano perché erano praticamente tutti col colera!), mercoledì pomeriggio mi sono decisa a creare per mia mamma dei bottoni decorativi che mi aveva chiesto di farle da un po’ di tempo.
Ho utilizzato sia Cernit che Fimo e questi sono stati i risultati (vi ho messo una moneta da 50 cent per capire l’effettiva grandezza):

Un fiore, un cuore, una pecora, un maiale, un quadrifoglio con una coccinella e una mela con il suo bruchetto.
Visto il periodo ne ho fatti alcuni ispirati al Natale (io sono una super appassionata del Natale):

A flower, a heart, a sheep, a pig, a four-leaf clover with its ladybug and an apple with its bug.
Christmas time is coming, hence I did some Yuletide-ish (I really LOVE X-mas!):

Una stella, una sorta di girella ispirata ai candy cane, un pacchetto regalo e l’ultimo sarebbe Rudolph, anche se è venuto una schifezza XD

Essence nail art special effect! Topper/Top Coat 09 Copper'ize me!

Oggi ho in serbo per voi uno topper davvero particolare: Copper’ize me! di essence.
Si tratta di uno smalto a base rame-trasparente con una pioggia di microglitter rame con miniglitter argento, verde, blu, magenta e, in minima parte, oro (o, almeno, questi sono quelli che vedo io).

Good morning!
I’m going to show you a peculiar glitter top coat: Copper’ize me! by essence.
It’s a copper-clear base with copper microglitters and silver, green, blue, magenta and gold miniglitters (at least, that’s what I see).

Ovviamente, il modo migliore per mostrarvi questo smalto, è farvelo vedere con basi colorate:

Clearly, the best way to show it to you, is upon other polishes as bases :

In questo caso ho usato:
• pollice: 2 strati/nessuna base
• indice: base bianca (Kiko White French 101)
• medio: Layla 106
• anulare: essence SnowWhite 04 Happy
• mignolo: essence SnowWhite 03 Doc

I used as base:
• thumb: nothing! Just 2 coats of Copper’ize me!
• index: White base (Kiko White French 101)
• middle: Layla 106
• ring: essence SnowWhite 04 Happy
• pinky: essence SnowWhite 03 Doc

Mi piace ancora di più come risulta sopra colori quasi pastello:
•indice: O•P•I Pedal Faster Suzi!
• medio: Kiko 340
• anulare: Layla 206
• mignolo: L’Oreal 304

Pupa Glitter Nail Polishes: 824 (Blue) & 825 (Turquoise)

Oh, oh, mi è semblato di vedele un post! XD
Non sono sparita, no no ^-^
Infatti, eccomi qui a mostrarvi due smalti Pupa facenti parte della linea Glitter di questo autunno/inverno 2012!
Appena li ho visti ho pensato di prenderli tutti, da brava gazza ladra, attratta da tutti quei sbrilluccichii, ma poi ho tirato il freno a mano e ne ho presi solo due, al fine di testarne le qualità ^w^

Yep, I’m back with one! ^-^
Indeed, here I am going to show you TWO (and not just one!) Pupa Nail Polishes from the Glitter limited edition collection for this a/w 2012!
The first think I thought was “I have to buy them all!” and then I realized that it was better to buy just two of them for testing ^w^

Ho scelto il mio piumino da mezza stagione preferito come sfondo, visto che i colori erano li stessi ^^
Da sinistra verso destra, sono i numeri 824 – Blue e 825 – Turquoise.
Ho deciso di mostrarveli in due accent manicure, visto quanto mi piacciono questi due colori insieme:

And I put my favourite eiderdown as background for it has the same colours of these polishes! ^^
L-R: 824 – Blue & 825 – Turquoise.
I did two accent manicure to show them to you:

Ormai lo sapete, amo i glitter.
E si ringrazia tanto essence e la sua base peel-off! Senza di lei, probabilmente, sarei ancora intenta nel togliere il tutto dagli artigli o, forse, avrei svariati strati di smalto sopra di quelli, tipo pasticcio, ahah!
Il tempo è stato clemente nei confronti della prima “manicure” e mi ha regalato della luce solare (anche se non è stato abbastanza gentile anche con il secondo tentativo):

You know, I do love glitters!
Thank essence, I own their peel-off base!
Without it, I would be trying to remove the polish from my nails or, perhaps, I would have many nail polish coats over this glitter, like a lasagna, ahah!
Thank God, the weather was sunny while I was wearing the first mani, so you can appreciate the BLING of these polishes!

Sono esattamente così come appaiono nella foto in due sole passate leggere!
Super coprenti, yay! ^w^
Il blu è particolarmente prezioso grazie ai glitterini rosa che rendono questo smalto ancora più bello!
Il turchese, al posto dei glitter rosa, ha dei brillantini argentati (e, a memoria, anche tutti gli altri hanno i glitter argenti, ma potrei sbagliarmi!) ^w^
Ecco, penso sia una delle prime volte che vi lancio un appello:
Acquistate almeno uno smalto di questa linea, se vi piacciono, perché li trovo particolarmente belli! ^w^
Anche qui, piccola particolarità della quale vi parlavo in questo post qui: hanno PAO di soli 6 mesi!
Ma tanto si faranno fuori prima-ahah! ;)

They are exactly the same as you see from this last picture with just two light coats!
Very opaque, yay! ^w^
The blue one has a peculiarity: it ha salso pink glitters in it!
And these glitters make the polish looks gorgeous!
The turquoise one has silver glitters instead of the pink ones (and so does the others from this glittery collection).
This is the first time I am making a plea:
If you do like glitter nail polish, try one of these, IMHO they are so amazing!
As I said in this post, also these ones have a best before date of 6 months.
But I know you would finish it before that date ;)

Deborah 3D Tech Top Coat 101 Flakes/Flakies Effect

E oggi vi mostro il fratello di uno smalto che ho a dir poco amato!
Ovviamente il nome è nel titolo: Deborah 3D Tech Top Coat numero 101.
In passato, vi ho mostrato quello viola-blu-verde [QUI] e oggi vi mostro quello arancione-oro-verde!

Finally, I’m back ^^
And I’m going to show you the other 3D Tech Top Coat by Deborah, the number 101 [HERE you find the swatch of the 102, the other one].
The 101 is a gold-orange-green flakies nail polish, the 102 is a purple-blue-green one.

Come indicato anche dall’immagine, il 101 è a sinistra e il 102 è a destra.

As you can see from the picture, the 101 is on the left and the 102 is on the right.

Devo assolutamente dirvi che negli ultimi 10 giorni il tempo non è stato clemente e non abbiamo ancora avuto una giornata di sole decente!
E, chiaramente, le foto ne risentono :(
…ad ogni modo, eccolo sopra a dei colori “neutri” per gli smalti “topper”:
• indice: Kiko 101 White French
• medio: Layla 106
• anulare: O•P•I He’s My Boo
• mignolo: 2 strati di 3D Tech Top Coat 101 senza base.

Since 10 days the sun has never showed, so the pictures are a bit rubbish :(

Io l’ho acquistato perché trovato in offerta a qualcosa come 3,50€!

Deborah Sense Tech 100% Mat Nail Polish Nr.10

Oggi è il turno di uno smalto che sto lasciando in sospeso da tanto…
Giusto per farvi un’idea, sappiate che l’ho acquistato attorno al 20 giugno 2011…
Sì, ce l’ho da un po’ ^w^
Come da titolo, è uno smalto Deborah che fa parte della linea Sense Tech 100% Mat (matte) e, più precisamente, è il numero 10.

Today I show you a polish which I bought on 20 something of june 2011.
Yeah, its name is “10” from the Deborah’s Sense Tech 100% Mat Nail Polish.

E’ l’unico smalto matte che io abbia mai acquistato, prima di comprare il top coat effetto matte, decisamente più comodo.
Comunque, personalmente, devo dire che questo colore mi piace davvero molto!
Andiamo a vedere come si presenta sugli artigli:

This is my only one matte nail polish.
I’ve bought it before buying a matte top coat.
However, I have to say that I really like this colour!

Lo trovo davvero molto bello, nonostante abbia alcuni enormi difetti.
Sulla boccetta vi è riportata la seguente scritta:
«Smalto effetto mat / Applicare senza base smalto, top coat o crema mani per una manicure che sa distinguersi»
Lasciando stare il fatto del top coat che potrebbe rendere lucido lo smalto (non so cosa ne venga fuori, aggiungendo del top coat matte, mai provato…) devo avvisare che, con questo colore in particolare, la base è assolutamente obbligatoria!
E dovreste metterne anche parecchia!!!
Sì, perché, se guardate le foto, sappiate che in genere metto lo smalto giusto per fotografarlo e poi ne uso uno diverso (di solito) e, in circa 10 minuti fra stesura smalto e fotografia, mi ha macchiato parecchio le unghie!
Sapevo già che macchiava perché lo avevo già scoperto a mie spese…
Ma non pensavo in un tempo così rapido!
Ah, l’asciugatura è veramente veloce.
Ora vi mostro qualche effetto che ho usato sopra questo smalto:

Well, it’s a coward!
Don’t trust him, because its bottle says:
«Mat effect nail enamel / Apply on your base nails to make your fashion statement. Do not use base coat, top coat, drying drops or hand lotion»
Clearly, you can’t use a normal top coat because the polish wouldn’t be matt no more but the base is a MUST!
It stains sooo much!
In 10 minute I put it on the nails and made the pictures and the nails were already stained!
In such a brief time!
Well, it’s a quick dry nail polish.
Here are some effects which I used onto this enamel:

L’immagine sopra è all’ombra, mentre quella sotto è al sole.
Allooora, in questo caso ho usato:
• indice: Revlon Colada Fizz
• medio: Deborah 3D Tech Top Coat 101
• anulare: Deborah 3D Tech Top Coat 102
• mignolo: essence special effect top coat topper 10 Glorious Aquarius
Infine, eccovi una rapidissima manicure facile facile:

The upper picture is in the shade and the lower is under sunlight.
Wellll, I used:
• index finger: Revlon Colada Fizz
• middle finger: Deborah 3D Tech Top Coat 101
• ring finger: Deborah 3D Tech Top Coat 102
• little finger: essence special effect top coat topper 10 Glorious Aquarius
Last, here’s a super quick (and easy) mani:

Ok, i colori sono decisamente meno sparaflashati!
Dopo aver steso una base, ho steso tre mani di 45 Fantasy Fire di Max Factor e ho fatto asciugare perfettamente.
Dopo aver atteso che il top coat si fosse asciugato perfettamente, ho usato dello scotch in modo che la linea venisse ben definita e ho steso il Deborah Mat 10.
Facendo molta attenzione, ho tolto lo scotch et voilà!

Right, the colours are much, much softer!
After applying the base coat, I used 3 coats of Max Factor 45 Fantasy Fire and let it dry completely.
After the top coat was dry, I used some scotch tape for the line and then I used the Deborah Mat 10 polish.
Really carefully, I then removed the tape and voilà!

Kiko Nail Polish: 255 Viola Microglitter

Oggi, per me, è una giornata di super riposo (vi anticipo che preparo un due-tre post, così sono coperta per i prossimi giorni :D)!
Oggi vi mostro uno smalto che è famoso… beh, praticamente dappertutto!!
Io me ne sono innamorata dopo averlo visto sul blog di Federica e, dopo averlo visto lì, ho notato che è uno smalto desiderato da molte blogger, addirittura negli States!
Ma andiamo al dunque… ecco la boccetta:

I’ve noticed it for the first time in Federica’s blog and, since then, I’ve noticed that it is in many bloggers’ wishlist, also American blogger.

Finalmente domani ho l’ultimo esame della sessione e – sempre domani – incomincia il nuovo semestre all’università, così per un po’ posso fare a meno di studiare e posso riposarmi un pochino :D
Allooora, oggi è il turno del mio primo Rimmel London 60” ^w^
Sì, come suggerisce il titolo, il colore è il numero 819 Green With Envy!

Finally, tomorrow I will have the last test from this university exams session and the beginning of the new classes.
Weeell, today I show you my very first Rimmel London 60” ^w^
Yep, the name is 819 Green With Envy.

Che dire di lui?
Beh, è un colore fra il verde e il blu, un color petrolio.
Il pennellino è davvero ottimo.
Sulla boccetta c’è scritto: “smalto colore in una sola passata. Asciugatura in meno di 60 secondi”.
Ok, l’asciugatura è rapida, non l’ho cronometrata ma è rapida.
Solo che una passata non basta, permettetemi di mostrarvi come si presenta in una sola passata questo smalto:

The bottle says: “One-coat nail polishes. Dries in less than 60 seconds”.
Ok, the dry-time is really quick (I hadn’t a stopclock in my hand). REALLY quick.
But I don’t agree: one coat isn’t enough!
Let me show you how it looks like, using just one coat:

Beh, immagino che non lo usereste così, forse solo il mignolo potrebbe andare bene, per cui io suggerirei più passate.
Infatti, eccovi qualche immagine di come risulta con due passate e sotto la luce del sole:

Senza top coat si notano molto le linee lasciate dal pennello.
La boccetta ha un contenuto di 8mL e – indicativamente – il prezzo in Italia è di 4,90€.
