Il sito Zoya lo descrive come “Viola scuro metallico con una sottile bicromia oro, pesca e verde su base blu. Misterioso ed affascinante, una tra le tonalità più sofisticate di Zoya.”. Guardate che arcobaleno di colori, sulla boccetta!
In base a come lo colpisce la luce, questo smalto acquisisce punti di viola differenti.
E’ ipnotico! Ahahah

Zoya’s website describe Julieanne as a “Unique purple sparkles with gold, peach and yellow-green duochrome in a dark blue-purple base.This dark and eye catching shade is a must have for any rocker chick.”
It changes colour as the light hit it. Look at the unicorn’s pee on the bottle!
It’s hypnotic! LOL

Sotto la luce naturale, però, da’ il meglio si se’. Problema: alle mie latitudini è un po’ che il sole non si mostra e, se si mostra, io sono chiusa nel sottosuolo a studiare.
Per cui, eccovi alcune foto fatte in una fresca giornata autunnale con il cielo super coperto.

Come potete vedere, principalmente sono quattro colori: blu, viola, verde e arancione :)
Alcuni sono appena acquistati, altri sono datatissimi (i due L'Oreal, per esempio)!

As you can see, there are four colour ranges: blue, purple, green and orange :)
Some are brand new, other are really old (as the L'Oreals)!

Purple: the other L'Oreal 100 Years, Zoya, Givenchy and Kiko (all of them are glittery).

E infine i blu (più un nero metallizzato): Deborah Pret A Porter, Debby, Zoya, Deborah Milano Sense Tech, ever e un secondo Deborah Pret A Porter!

Golden Nail Art

Quest'estate ho avuto parecchio tempo libero e ho "creato" parecchie Nail "Art".
Oggi ho deciso di condividerne una con voi, proprio la più recente, che ho sfoggiato per una settimana intera un po' di tempo fa.
Si tratta di una nail art con un gradient creato grazie alla spugnetta utilizzando uno smalto oro sopra uno argento.
Eccolo nell'ombra:

This summer I had a lot of free time and so I "created" a lot of Nail "Arts".
Today I decided to share one of them with you, the most recent one, which I wore for a full week, some weeks ago.
This is a gradient nail art with a gold polish over a silver one.
Here's what it's like in the shadow:

Ed eccolo sotto la luce diretta (sfocata):

And here's under direct light (blurred picture):

C'è da dire che sotto il sole non si nota molto, ho avuto un po' di problemi nel fotografarla, si notava davvero poco o niente.

Ma il lavoro non è finito qui.

Sopra il gradient, infatti, ho applicato uno strato di smalto a base trasparente con miniglitter bronzo, esagoni medi dorati e pezzi di foil dorato/madreperlato di varia grandezza, per poi sigillare il tutto con un top coat.

Ecco il risultato sulla zampa sinistra:

I have to say, I had a bit of an issue while I was taking the picture because it's a "soft" effect (everything was silver).

But I have not finish yet.

After I created the gradient, I apply a coat of a clear base nail polish with bronze miniglitter, gold hexagons and golden/pearl foil pieces and then I used a top coat.

Here's the result on my left hand:

Glitter Comparison And A Grey Nail Polish

Lo so, lo so, il secondo post nello stesso giorno… e parlo di cose differenti!
Che succede?
Nulla di che, praticamente stavo indossando uno smalto grigio quando ho deciso di provarlo con uno smalto da layering… e poi un altro… e un altro ancora.
Così ho deciso di postare il tutto e mostrarvi questa sorta di “comparazione”, soprattutto per quanto riguarda l’ultima immagine!
Bene, ve li mostro e basta, l’ultima cosa che vi dico è il nome del colore utilizzato come base (:

Sephora Urban Forest Nail Trio (City Amazon, Jungle Playground, Military Jacket)

Oggi vi mostro un set da 3 smalti che ho trovato da Sephora.
Credo sia un tris di smalti che fosse in vendita ancora lo scorso autunno ma, a luglio, avendolo guardato e avendo successivamente pensato che tutti e tre questi colori mi mancavano, per 5€ ho deciso di acquistare queste boccette da 5mL(0.16FL.OZ.) l’una.

Today I’m going to show you a nail polish trio which I found at Sephora’s.
I think that this trio was already on sale during last autumn but I saw it on july and then I realized that I do not own these colours, then I buy this set of three 5mL (0.16FL.OZ.) nail polishes for 5€.

Da sinistra verso destra, queste boccettine hanno i seguenti nomi:
• L44 City Amazon (beige)
• 83 Jungle Playground (verde prato)
• L42 Military Jacket (verde scuro)

L-R, their names are:
• L44 City Amazon (taupe)
• 83 Jungle Playground (grass green)
• L42 Military Jacket (pretty dark green)

Il City Amazon è un colore abbastanza nudo (sarebbe nudo se avessi un colore di pelle più scuro).
Mi ha lasciata molto incuriosita il fatto che, con una sola passata, il colore risulta diverso che con due: guardate l’anulare e paragonatelo al mignolo!
Sul mignolo ho fatto una sola passata, su tutte le altre ne ho fatte due.
Sospetto!

City Amazon should be a naked colour (it is if you have a darker skin than me).
I became curious after seeing the difference from one to two coats.
You can see it just taking a glaze at the ring and at the little fingers!
On the little finger I did one coat and on all the other nails there are two coats.
Suspicious!

Generalmente, sulle unghie, non vado pazza per i verdi ma i due presenti in questo set mi piacciono molto, sono entrambi particolari.
Jungle Playground ha quest’effetto shimmer che lo rende prezioso!
Anche in questo caso ho steso due mani su tutte le unghie tranne che sul mignolo, sulla cui unghia ho steso una sola mano.

Normally, I do not love too much green nail polishes but these two are just gorgeous.
Jungle Playground is a precious shimmer!
Here you have two coats except for the middle finger nail, on which there is just one coat.

Ultimo ma non meno importante, il Military Jacket.
Questo mi piace ancora di più!
Ha un effetto che sembra un matt lucido, una cosa particolare…
E’ parecchio coprente già dalla prima passata (anche se dipende più dal fatto di come si stende lo smalto), basta guardare l’anulare, dove c’è una sola mano di smalto, contro le altre unghie, sulle quali ce ne sono due.
Quale vi piace di più?
Mai provato questi smalti Sephora?

Last but not least, Military Jacket.
This is the one which I loved most!
It’s a super strange effect, a sort of matt creme, but it’s not matt.
It’s opaque with just one coat (but the result may vary depending on how you put the polish on), just look at the ring finger nail, where there is only one coat.
On the other nails there are two coats.
Which polish do you prefer?

O•P•I Pedal Faster Suzi! (NL H60) - Holland Collection

L’università mi sta tentando di trattenermi lontano dal mio piccolo spazio personale (in compenso, ora ho appreso anche lo spagnolo-ahahah!) ma oggi sono riuscita ad accedervi per postarvi uno smalto che ho desiderato per veramente tanto (:
Per cui, eccomi qui a mostrarvi uno smalto O•P•I della collezione primaverile, la Holland Collection, quello rosa, chiamato Pedal Faster Suzi!

The University world is trying to keep me away from my tiny net space (now I can speak Spanish-LOL) but now I am here and am going to show you a polish that I desired so much!
So, here I am with Pedal faster Suzi! from the O•P•I’s spring collection, Holland:

E’ un rosa che mi ricorda parecchio le “Big Babol” con un effetto sbrilluccicoso argentato.
Allora, ora vi mostro due immagini in cui ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre su medio e anulare, la prima all’ombra e la seconda sotto il sole estivo.

It’s a bubble gum pink with a great silver shimmer.
Here you have two pictures in which I am wearing two coats on the index, one on the little finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers. The first picture was shot in the shadows and the other with direct sunlight.

Nonostante non ami i rosa, ho desiderato questo smalto appena lo vidi la prima volta *_*
E sono riuscita a trovarlo, anche se solo a fine luglio (dopo circa 5 mesi), da quando ho iniziato ad usarlo un sacco, soprattutto in piscina.
Ora ve lo mostro con gli altri 3 O•P•I che ho acquistato di questa collezione:

Although I do not love pink polishes, I wanted this polish since I saw it.
I was able to find it at least in july (after 5 months!) and since then I used it a lot, especially when I went to the swimming pool.

Come detto pressoché in ogni post, la maggior parte di loro dà il meglio di sé una volta utilizzato come smalto da layering e, nello specifico, sopra una base nera.
Per cui, eccoli sopra una base nera:

As I said in almost every post, most of these polishes look great using them as layering polishes onto a black base.
So, here they are, over a black base:

Tutti gli smalti hanno un profumo, indicato proprio dal nome e la maggior parte di loro sono perfetti per il layering (ad eccezione del Mint Fizz, del Watermelon Fizz e del Grapefruit che, secondo me, sono utilizzabili anche senza base colorata).
Nonostante abbia letto in giro per il web che si asciugano rapidamente, devo ammettere di non concordare: ogni volta che li ho utilizzati mi è sembrato che stessero una vita ad asciugare.
Che altro dire?
Mmmmm… in Italia, il prezzo consigliato è di 11€ per la boccetta da 14.7mL (0.5FL. OZ.) ma io li ho acquistati tutti durante un’offerta di una catena di profumeria presenti nel mio territorio a 6,90€ l’uno. Credo di aver espresso tutto ciò che avevo da dire a riguardo, ma qualora aveste domande o dubbi, non fatevi riguardi e chiedete tranquillamente nei commenti ^w^

As I've already said, these polishes have a name that reminds their scents and they're great for layering (although the Mint, the Watermelon and the Grapefruit Fizz look great also without a coloured base).
I've read on the net that they are quick dry polishes and I disagree: every time that I used these polishes I had to wait a huge amount of time.
What else is left to say?
Well, the recommended price is 11€ (in Italy) for a 14.7mL (0.5FL.OZ.) bottle but I paid them 6,90€ each one (discounted price).
I think I've written everything but if you do have any kind of question, please feel free to write it as a comment!

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Grapefruit Fizz

Super quick post just to show you the last Revlon scented nail polish, which is called Grapefruit Fizz.

E’ uno stupendo rosa confetto dal delicato odore –secondo loro- di pompelmo.
Nonostante non sia appassionata dei rosa, questo in particolare (insieme a un altro che vi farò vedere a breve) mi piace davvero tanto!

I have to say, I do not love pink polishes so much...
But this one is just stunning!
It has a "grapefruit" (they said) scent, but this soft colour is just sooo pretty!

Come per tutti gli altri smalti profumati della Revlon, ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Nonostante non sia totalmente coprente con tre passate, devo dire che mi piace parecchio come risulta.
Vogliamo vederlo come smalto da layering?

One coat on the little finger, two coats on the index finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers. 
The polish is not very opaque, but I do like very much the result of three coats.
Curious to see how it is for layering?

• Indice: Layla 106 (nero)
• Medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• Anulare: Pupa Barbie Pink 300 (rosa)
• Mignolo: Kiko 289 Rosa Fenicottero (fuchsia)

Nonostante, come tutti i suoi fratelli, sia stupendo sulla base nera, io lo preferisco in assoluto senza base colorata ^w^


The polishes used as bases are:

• Index finger: Layla 106 (black)
• Middle finger: Kiko 101 White French (white)

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Grape Fizz

Nonostante gli smalti viola mi piacciono molto, devo dire che trovo questo qui in particolare senza infamia e senza lode.

Today I’m going to show you the seventh (out of eight) Revlon scented nail polish, which is called Grape Fizz.
I have to say that I don’t love nor hate this actual polish, although I do appreciate purple nail polishes.

Nonostante sia chiamato “Grape” Fizz, non trovo che abbia odore di uva.
Piuttosto ha un odore dolciastro che devo ammettere di trovare gradevole ^-^

It is called Grape Fizz, yes, but it’s not scented with a grape perfume.
It has a sweet smell, and I do like it.

Come per tutti gli altri smalti profumati della Revlon, ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Non è coprentissimo ma con tre passate si arriva ad avere un buon risultato.

One coat on the little finger, two coats on the index finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers.
The polish is not very opaque, but three coats are enough to achieve a good result.

I colori di base sono:

• Indice: Layla 106 (nero)
• Medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• Anulare: Layla Ceramic Effect CE 64 (viola metallizzato)
• Mignolo: Kiko 292 Uva Chiaro (viola scuro)

Carino sulla base nera ma, secondo il mio modesto giudizio, nulla di così particolare... C:

Revlon Scented Nail Polish: Mint Fizz

Oggi siamo arrivati a quello che è il mio personalissimo favorito di questi smalti profumati Revlon!
Croce e delizia del mio cuor, si chiama Mint Fizz:

Good morning!
Today I’m going to show you my very favourite Revlon scented nail polish!
Its name’s Mint Fizz.

Chiaramente, ha un odore di menta (anche se, all’olfatto, è dolciastro) favoloso e ha un colore che mi piace veramente tantissimo!
Lui è stata la causa che mi ha spinta a prendere anche i suoi fratellini.
Ha un solo difetto: macchia le unghie! :(

Obviously, it’s mint scented. And it’s sweet!
This polish was the reason why I’ve chosen to buy the whole Revlon scented nail polish collection.
Just one flaw: it stains, beware!

Come per tutti gli altri smalti profumati della Revlon, ho steso una mano sul mignolo, due sull’indice e tre sul medio e sull’anulare.
Già con due passate risulta coprente ma con la terza raggiunge un punto di colore ancora più bello, secondo me!

One coat on the little finger, two coats on the index finger and three on the middle and on the ring fingers.
The polish is opaque with two coats, but I think that with the third one, it reaches an amazing colour.

Ho usato le stesse basi del Colada Fizz:

• Indice: Layla 106 (nero)
• Medio: Kiko 101 White French (bianco)
• Anulare: Layla 108 (azzurro)
• Mignolo: Kiko 294 Blu Indaco (blu)

Con questo smalto, forse, la base bianca è l'unica che utilizzerei...
Ma continuo a preferirlo senza base colorata ^w^


I used the same bases that I used for the Colada Fizz:

• Index finger: Layla 106 (black)
• Middle finger: Kiko 101 White French (white)
• Ring finger: Layla 108 (light blue)
• Little finger: Kiko 294 Blu Indaco (medium blue)

With Mint Fizz I would use the white base...
But I still prefer it without a coloured base ^w^
