Oggi è giunto il momento di postare una boccetta che ho da alcuni mesi e il cui contenuto è piuttosto incasinato da fotografare, durante una bella giornata di sole.

Today I'm going to show you a bottle which I own since some months and which is a bit hard to take shoot of, in a sunny day.

Si tratta, come da titolo, del numero 165 Here's My Number della collezione colour&go di Essence.
E' uno smalto dall'effetto sabbiato color antracite con glitter e miniglitter olografici.

It is number 165 Here's My Number from the Essence colour&go collection.
It is a anthracite grey with holographic glitters and mini glitters with a sand finish.

Non è super rapido da asciugare (o da togliere) e non amo il "nuovo" pennello cicciotto.
Però, per quel che costa, secondo me vale la pena averlo nei cassetti.

It's not very quick drying (or easy to remove) and I don't like the "new" chubby brush.
But, since it's extremely cheap, everyone should have that inside drawers.

Birthstone Challenge: Amethyst - Giorgio Armani 704 Amethyst

Oggi è il momento di un nuovo post per la Birthstone Challenge!
Vi ricordate? La pietra del mese declinata agli smalti.
Si da il caso che febbraio sia il mese dell'ametista.
Prima di proseguire, io desidero che abbiate in mente quest'immagine qui.

Today is Birthstone Challenge time again!
Can you recall it? The gem of the month with lacquers.
And February means... amethyst.
Before you go on reading, take a look at this picture.

Infatti, vi voglio proporre lo smalto 704 Amethyst di Giorgio Armani. Ametista, appunto, ma dovete tener ben presente la parte esterna. Perché, questo smalto a base viola, è un duochrome blu/verde petrolio. Giurin giuretto che la base E' viola per davvero!
Ma lustratevi gli occhi, perché, nei miei helmer, è qualcosa di unico.

Yup, because I want to show you Giorgio Armani 704 Amethyst. Amethyst, indeed, but you have to bare in mind the outer portion of the stone. Because this purple based lacquer is a blue/teal duo chrome. But I swear the base IS purple!
But enough word, look at the photos... in my helmers, this is a unique polish.

Sì, nell'ultima foto, in ombra, si nota particolarmente il viola. Mi piace un sacco!
Ma piccolo accenno tecnico, ora... si stende che è una meraviglia, asciuga rapidamente e ha una durata media (3-4 giorni prima di tip wear).
Ma ora è tempo di accennare a ciò che so già commenterete maggiormente.
La boccetta contiene 6mL. Il prezzo? 22€. Già, praticamente il doppio di uno Chanel/Dior/D&G ecc.
Ma ora andata a guardare cosa hanno postato Ere e le colleghe, qui sotto, nella board pinterest!

Yup, in the latest photo, in the shades, you can actually see purple better. I love it!
Well, it is easy to apply, dries fast and has a medium lasting (3-4 days before tip wear).
But let's talk about the thing I know most of you will comment about.
The bottle contains 6mL (0.2 FL.OZ.). The price? 22€. Yup, almost twice a Chanel/Dior/D&G etc price.

Anche oggi benvenuti all'appuntamento matte della settimana.
Quest'oggi, però, è un giorno speciale.
San Valentino? Naaaah!!!
Oggi è il giorno in cui ho l'ultimo esame della sessione e, se lo passassi, mi resterebbe un singolo esame da dare! Yeeeeee *happydance*

So, welcome to this matte weekly post.
Today, though, is a special day.
Valentine's day? Nope!!!
Today I have my last session exam and, if I passed it, I would have just one last exam to pass! Yeeee *happydance*

Come intuirete dalla foto, ho optato per il Karaja Nail Mat Quick Dry n. 1 (ne esiste anche una versione rossa, n.2), un nero suede con glitter argentati.
Parliamo un attimo del nome e del dettaglio "Quick Dry". Avete mai trovato matte lenti ad asciugarsi???
Boh, da copione, l'asciugatura è rapida, facile da stendere, durata pessima.
La cosa pazzesca, secondo me, è il prezzo, che vedete nella foto sopra. OK, io ho pagato il cartellino con uno zero di meno. Yes, 1€, il prezzo giusto!

As you might understand from the photo above, I've chosen Karaja Nail Mat Quick Dry n.1 (I know there is a red version too, n.2), a black suede lacquer with silver glitters.
Let's just say a thing about the name and about "Quick Dry". Have you ever tried a slow dry matte???
Boh, it is, yes, quick dry, easy to applicate and with a hideous lasting time.
The crazy time is the price which you can see above. But I am mentally sane and I've paid the right amount of time for it: 1€.

Vabbè, dai, concediamogli il fatto che sia carino!
Ma visto che oggi è, sì, anche il giorno degli innamorati, la nostra poliglotta preferita, Natalia, ha optato, appunto, per San Valentino come tema di oggi.
E chi sono io per non dare la mia misera parte in merito? Me la sono cavata con un cuore stampato sull'anulare.

OK, come on, it's cute!
But today is love day, isn't it?
And our favorite polyglot Natalia has chosen "Valentine's Day" as theme for today.
And I did my tiny useless part by stamping an heart on the ring finger nail.

Lo smalto utilizzato per lo stamping è quello "grabbato" in foto, un pupa chrome qualcosa.
Vi auguro una stupenda giornata, io vado ufficialmente ad immolarmi!

Maybelline 317 So Chic Pink

Oggi voglio mostrarvi un Maybelline Color Show che era in allegato con una rivista, un po' di tempo fa.

Today I want to show you a Maybelline Color Show which I've found with a magazine sometime ago.

Lui è il numero 317, alias So Chic Pink. E' un ciclamino scuro, un po' noioso e abbastanza "Barbie".

This is number 317 a.k.a. So Chic Pink, a dark cyclamen, a bit boring and much "Barbie".

La seconda immagine mostra il colore esatto di sera con luce artificiale, dentro casa.
Lo dico: non mi fa impazzire, il colore. Ma non avevo nulla di questo esatto punto di colore.
La stesura è abbastanza agevole, un po' scomodo il fatto che il tappo sia così grande (tipo i Catrice, per intenderci, giusto un po' più piccolo).
Mi ricordo un'asciugatura rapida ma non posso esprimermi sulla durata, per ora.
Voi che ne pensate?

The second photo show the actual colour in the inside under artificial light on evening.
I have to say that I don't like much the colour. But I didn't have anything exactly like it.
The application was good, despite the too big cap (almost big as Catrice's, to say).
I remember a quick drying time but I cannot say a word about lasting, for now.

NYC 010 Top Of The Gold top coat

Yup, because I was willing to show you a bottle which I would have loved to put in my Klimt mani.
Just think: what's the first thing that shows up in your mind when you hear "Klimt" if not his golden leafs?

Ecco, NYC ha messo sul mercato il suo Top Coat 010 Top Of The Gold, un topper a base trasparente con foglie d'oro.
Ok, non è la qualità che potreste trovare in topper come The Man With The Golden Gun di O·P·I, ma è un buon compromesso economico (€ 1,99).

Well, NYC has released its Top Coat 010 Top Of The Gold, a see-through topper with golden leafs.
OK, the quality is not what you might find in bottles like O·P·I The Man With The Golden Gun but it's extremely cheap ($ 1,99).

Ad eccezione del bianco (Sinful Colors Snow Me White), le altre basi sono tutte Kiko (388 - 340 - 344).
Nelle foto sottostanti, invece, sono tutte Kiko, senza eccezioni (292 - 294 - 275 - 296):

Above, they are all Kiko base colours (388 - 340 - 344) with the exception of the white which is Sinful Color (Snow Me White).

Personalmente, la mia versione preferita è quella sull'azzurro pastello.

Giardino d'Inverno #05 [Klimt] - The Tree Of Life inspired nail art

Eh, sì, anche oggi è - finalmente - venerdì.
Dopo una settimana ininterrotta di pioggia ieri, finalmente, è spuntato il sole!
Ma non è durato molto, stamattina pioveva nuovamente.
Vabbé, parliamo di Giardino d'Inverno, ci state?
Il tema di oggi (scelto da Rebenice)? Klimt. Che, personalmente, non amo particolarmente ma del quale ho visto più opere, a Vienna.
Ma oggi mi sono ispirata all'albero della vita.

Yes, finally it's Friday.
After a week full of rain, yesterday it was sunny!
But it didn't last, this morning it was rainy... again.
Well, let's talk about Giardino d'Inverno, shall we?
The theme for today is 'Klimt', chosen from Rebenice. I'm not a huge Klimt fan but I've seen some of his paintings in Vienna.
For this post I have been inspired by the tree of life.

La base è il mio fidato Where's The Soiree? di Color Club, che vi ho presentato proprio in questa serie di post gemelli, il giallo dorato è, invece, Essence Flower Power.
Potete notare che il tronco dell'albero è, idealmente, fra l'anulare e il mignolo.
Ok, dopo questa schifezza vi lascio ai post delle colleghe, qui sotto!
Vi dico già che la prossima nail art quasi soddisfacente arriverà fra un paio di settimane, sono rimasta proprio contenta di come è venuta fuori :)
Intanto, che pensate di questa nail art simil-Klimt? Siate magnanimi!

The base colour is my entrusted Where's The Soiree? from Color Club, which I've showed you a couple of weeks ago. The gilded yellow is Essence Flower Power.
As you might have noticed, the tree trunk was created ideally between the last two finger nails.
Well, after this crap, I'm going to leave you to my buddies' posts, below!
In a couple of weeks you are going to see here one of my fav mani lately :)

Voglio parlarvi di una boccetta davvero incredibile, anche secondo persone che non amano i colori caldi, come la sottoscritta.

Super brief post for today but I am a bit busy but was willing to post something…
I want to talk about a very special bottle, peculiar thing said from me, who don’t like warm colours.
What am I talking about?

O·P·I Sprung (NL M42) è un bellissimo foil arancione/bronzo/oro/rosso duochrome appartenente alla collezione Mariah Carey.
Dio, quanto vorrei che ci fosse un sole che spacca le pietre per mostrarvelo nel pieno della propria bellezza!
Purtroppo, il sole in questo periodo dell’anno non è proprio stupendo ma, per fortuna, sono riuscita a fare delle foto durante gli ultimi giorni di sole (una settimana fa o giù di lì).

O·P·I Sprung (NL M42) is a gorgeous orange/bronze/gold/red duochrome foil from the Mariah Cary collectio.
God, I wish there were a very hot sun to show this in its total beauty!
Sadly, in winter, here, the sun is not so hot but, luckily, I’ve taken some photos while the latest sunny days were on (a week ago or something like that).

Coprente in tre passate (inizialmente è proprio sheer), ha un buon tempo di asciugatura e un’ottima durata (dopo 4 giorni era ancora perfetto).
E per oggi è tutto, fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!

Fully opaque in 3 coats (at first, it was really sheer), it has a nice drying time and is long lasting (after 4 days it was still perfect).
